Dennis is the absolute legend! I was having problems with my engine and he wanted to make sure my car was safe to drive. He had me bring my car in early so he could diagnose the problem!! He was able to do it right on the spot and took the time to point out the issue and explain it to me. Dennis is so knowledgeable and experienced. I went to Black Point Auto for an inspection. As I pulled up there was smoke coming from under the hood. My car failed because of an oil leak that had just developed. They had a 2 to 3 weeks waiting period. Denis gave me an appointment in 7 days. They put in a new cam sensor, tail light and an inspection for under $200 dollars! I told them that I had to wait for my car. I was there at 8 o'clock and my car was ready by 9 o'clock. Thank you guys so much! I will be bringing my car here from now on.

I called Dennis about a week ago telling him I was having the same problem with my 2012 Cruze as usual with the thermostat and housing assembly and I was all upset about what I paid in the past at other places! Not only did he get it fixed fast but he did it for a much better price! I really appreciate how he conducts business! I m very grateful to have found a shop I can go to consistently rather than having a bunch of people under the hood doing different stuff. I wish I knew about Black Point sooner! A good shop you can trust. I was recommended this shop by a friend and although it was a bit of a drive from Portland, I'm glad I went here. They were flexible, responsive, COVID compliant, and their rates were great. I have definitely found "my shop" since moving to Portland and will continue to use and recommend them. Brought in my c350 for some rear end body damage, and these guys did great! I was rear ended at a crosswalk and the guy didn't have a license or insurance, and I only had liability so couldn't get the repairs done through insurance. They managed to get the body back to inspectable and got my trunk to close again without replacing anything! The price was better than I expected and got my car back sooner than expected also. Great place to bring your vehicle!Service: General repairs & maintenance

This is the most fair and honest mechanic I have ever found. I love these guys my search for an honest mechanic is over. I have been coming here now for about 3 years and I don't plan to go anywhere else. I live an hour away now and I still drive back to Black Point Auto for all my car repair needs!

Told me car would be 2000 to fix ended up paying 2600 told me a few weeks was at least 2 months then later found a bent frame which they didn't mention that cost me another 500 terrible

From my Model AA truck to my father in law's new VW 2.5 Golf Sport, Dennis is the man for getting the right job done at the right price. He has fixed every one of our business, personal, and collectible vehicles and gradually corrected the faulty work of other mechanics, and now all our cars are strong and efficient. Dennis rocks.
