Chris was very caring about my car situation and had me drop it off on a Saturday morning. He fixed my car and checked the entire engine making certain I would not breakdown on the side of the road. He truly is an honest person who gives to his customers. I would highly recommend him. Thank you so much Chris!

My vehicle was not drivable and in need of immediate repair on Friday evening at 6:00 pm Labor Day weekend. I called Chis' Automotive and got my car to his shop for inspection. He called me the following morning (Saturday) and thoroughly explained the situation, repairs needed and accurate estimate. He worked on the car Saturday and Sunday morning and I was on my way for the rest of the holiday weekend. Thank you Chis!

The alternator in our car went while we were on vacation in Maine just for the weekend. We called at least 10 other shops and no one would help, Chris offered to work on our car on a Sunday afternoon so we were able to get home on time. Great customer service and even followed up afterwards to be sure everything was fine. Highly recommend!

Chris was more than willing to be accommodating as possible. He described everything that was going on in detail and his prices were absolutely amazing. He's a very friendly mechanic that's extremely trustworthy. I highly recommend him

Don t go here. I wasted $1000 for him to screw my engine up. First, he failed to show on time to two appointments I booked with him, so I had to go home or wait for him to arrive. I took car in for what was a bad battery/failing alternator (did not know this then). He convinced me it was a tensioner pulley, some belts, and recommended a tuneup and such. Not only did it take two days of touching it to service it, but he completely mutilated the wiring harness for the cam shaft, broke an ignition coil leaving me to drive home with only 5/6 cylinders firing, and more. I took the car to two different trusted mechanics who weren t available until later, regretfully so, and they showed me the botched job he did. I wasted $1000 for him to abuse my engine when there was no need to in the first place. It cost me another $1500 to fix his mistakes between time/labor and finding where he went wrong. He might be fine for simple services, but do not go here. If anyone is interested, I can show receipts from him and other mechanics who corrected his mistakes. Again, I entered only needing a battery and potentially an alternator, but he broke an ignition coil leaving a cylinder to not fire, snapped a wiring harness for the rear cam shaft, among a few other things. This cost a lot to repair his mistakes.

Chris was a lifesaver for me when I was stranded 500 miles from home. He was nice enough to meet me in his shop on a Sunday, even though he and all other area mechanics were closed Sundays (on a frigid Feb day). While I was fearing the worst, Chris diagnosed a very simple issue and was able to fix my car quickly and for a very reasonable price. I greatly appreciate the help he gave me and definitely recommend him to anyone looking for a kind and honest mechanic.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Big thanks to Chris. Alternator died on vacation on a Saturday. He came in Sunday on his day off and got us home. Very accurate on time and cost! Thanks Chris!

This past winter, I was traveling alone from Maine to New York when my car broke down with an engine problem. Chris stayed at work late on a Friday night (almost until 8 PM) to help me out when all the other shops in the area were closed. I know NOTHING about cars, but he explained everything very carefully to me, even offering to call my dad and describe the work he did on my car. I am so appreciative for his expertise and the kindness he showed he really went above and beyond!! Highly recommended!

We were having some car trouble late at night in a parking lot and chris happened to be there to help us out,he knew it needed some work so we drove it to his shop, btw we were going on vacation the next day so it worked out perfectly that he was there and could help us. He fixed it at a reasonable price and a really nice likable guy that loves to help. I highly recommended him, he s not the type of guy that wants to make as much money off you, he just wants you to get back safety on the road, we will be taking our car needs to him from now on

Knowledgeable and efficient mechanic. Was able to work with me to plug a questionable nail on some tires that were in good working order but on the older side, where Toyota only suggested that I buy 4 new tires. No blame on Toyota but it was a great to have Chris work with me to accomplish a simple but not so straight forward task resulting in hundreds of dollars saved.

Beware of what he charges you he'll tell you one price and then Jack it up when you go to pick up your vehicle. Happened both times.. also did a lousy job fixing my brakes.. was worse than when I brought it in..I thought I found a good place turned out not to be !! beware of what he tells you... good luck. I won't go back !!!!

Had to be towed in, had a non-functioning clutch. Was charged 600 dollars for a master/slave hydraulic clutch set, same problem after the repair, no difference whatsoever.Had it towed to a VW dealership, they said that the clutch was blown. I provided them with the old parts that were replaced, they stated that they were most likely functional. The problem was mis-diagnosed and it ended up costing me 600 dollars. Total repair cost at the VW dealership was 1,500 dollars, bringing the total costs of repair to 2,100 dollars. I would not recommend this mechanic, this was a very expensive error for me on his part.
