This company was awesome! Within a half hour from calling,they came and picked up my car to have the tire fixed. They ordered my tires. Had them on and my car back to me early the next morning. My dealings with all there employees was a very easy and positive interaction. Thanks again!

Eastern was super friendly and professional and had same week availability for my oil change and 100k mile check up. They delivered a loaner car for our one-car household, but they were so fast that we didn t even need to use it. Prices were extremely affordable, and they were transparent about what needed to be repaired now versus at the next visit. Will definitely be going back!

The gentlemen at Eastern Tire were quick, knowledgeable, communicative and a pleasure to do business with. I had a problem, called at 7:30am, I was able to get the car to them in the morning. They diagnosed the problem, fixed the problem and called me at 2:30 the same afternoon to say I could pick it up. There is another problem lurking which I discussed with them. They researched it and got me a quote and a timeframe. I am impressed with their professionalism and will continue to do business with Eastern Tire.

Straight-forward, highly competent, excellent communicators, community oriented. Eastern Tire has earned our business for the past 15 years. They see the job through to completion. Absolutely no reason to go elsewhere. We love these folks!

Went to Eastern Tire & Auto on 12/6/2023 with a very intermittent noise. Of course no noise when I got there and no noise when the technician drove the car. Cars never make the noise at the garage! Technician did a thorough going over and spent a considerable amount of time driving the car. No obvious problems found. Feel better having them look over though. They spent probably around a half an hour investigating and never charged me one cent. Service desk employee stated when I heard it again to stop by (with no appointment) and they would drive the car again. These folks went above and beyond and many thanks to them. All of staff very friendly and helpful as always. Very nice to know that your concerns are important to their business. Customer service is obviously their priority and I would say they definitely exceed in doing that!

Eastern Tire was amazing. I had a time-sensitive tire puncture and they handled it very quickly. Customer service was really amazing. Seemed like a fun group of people too! Thanks to them all!

It was a damp, miserable, rainy day outside, but after checking my car in with the friendly staff, I settled down in the spacious and comfortable waiting room. The wait time and cost was a lot less than the dealership. Highly recommended.

They scheduled me within 2 hours of when I called. A very nice, professional crew did a great job from the front office to the fellow who fixed my tire. I was out of there in 1/2 hour. Many thanks!!

Eastern Tire quickly diagnosed & took care of the two issues with my car. They also changed a rear wiper blade & gave me an inspection sticker which I hadn't realized I needed! I felt like I was in excellent hands with friendly, knowledgeable folks.

I was very pleased with my first encounter. When my previous mechanic retired, I was skeptical. But Eastern has been in Rockland for generations. This is their second location, and I believe they ll get it just right. Right people. Right culture. Good guidance. I was in the shop for several hours and was impressed.

Great customer service and fast turn around time. I dropped off a tire that needed to be repaired. Within a few hours they had repaired the tire, picked my car up for me while I was at work, put the repaired tire back on then returned my car to me.

I was there for less than an hour, had two new tires put on the front and the two still decent tires rotated to the back. Staff seemed very pleasant and convivial and I was told that by buying two or more tires, I get free rotations going forward. Great experience and Eastern is now employee-owned, which is very cool!

My tire was losing air quickly and I stopped into Eastern Tire 20 minutes before they closed to make an appointment for the next day. They took care of my tire immediately and I was on my way. Exceptional service.

I ve used Eastern twice in the last couple of weeks and they have been fast, professional and responsive. They even came to my house and jump started my car so I could drive it to the shop. Very nice people, too!

The best! New tires. Oil changes. Any maintenance. From now on, I will always go to Eastern. I made the mistake of leaving once--had gotten a cheaper estimate from a big dealer who also promised to do a job in half the time that Eastern quoted. Well, it took much longer and ended up costing $300 more. I should have stayed small-town local! Not only do the mechanics rock, but the front desk staff is super organized and so friendly!......6 months later:: Just had an oil change and a free tire rotation (free because I bought my tires there a year and a half ago.) Whole car inspection and it's running great. Left the car in the lot during an overnight snowstorm and they shoveled it out and brushed my windows clean. They care about both the customer and the car! Excellent service!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Auto maintenance, Oil change

The employees are always eager & helpful, in my particular case the tire technician offered for me to come back in for an in-person reprogramming of my truck if the new rim/tire was triggering a low pressure code light on the dash. Excellent service!

My husband and I love Eastern Tire. We have been customers of them for some time now. On this recent visit, we went to their second site locsted in Rockport, Maine. What wonderful service they provided. Their employees there are just as thoughtful, kind and caring as those who work in the Rickland location. We will continue to be their very satisfied customers!

I was very pleased with my experience at Eastern Tire Company. I wanted to know if I needed new tires before I headed out on a long road trip. The employee measured all my tires tread and he decided I did not need tires! How nice that he was so honest! I had my tires rotated and took off! If I ever need tires, I will definitely shop here!Service: Tire rotations

Once again Eastern Tire saved me from having a bigger problem with my exhaust system. They discovered a crack that could have resulted in a major replacement. The associates at Eastern Tire are outstanding in customer service. It is the only place I have my vehicles serviced.

Long but worth reading if you're considering any kind of service:I Went in for a snow tire change over, and oil change. I requested an updated inspection sticker as well. The tire change went smoothly, except they told me I would need new tires in the spring but they would store the old ones with the wheels, and in the spring charge me for storage and disposal, for a total of $90.00 I suggested we dispose of the tires now for $40.00, saving me $50. I would have to return the following week to retrieve the wheels as they didn't have time right now. Then came the biggest surprise.. I need a complete set of new brakes...calipers, rotors, pads etc.. front and rear, and that it failed inspection.I had new rear brakes done by them in the spring of 2021 and had driven 20,009 miles since. I asked how long brakes usually last and she said 50-60k.They would call me with an estimate. The estimate came in at $2447.58... I was stunned and consulted a friend who knows a lot about cars, specifically German cars. I drive a VW Golf.We went to his mechanic, established and well known in the midcoast. I asked him to carefully inspect the brakes because I was contemplating an extended driving trip this winter and may be in need of new brakes. I also asked him to complete the state inspection.He called me and said, your car is ready, the car drives very well, the brakes are excellent and have, at minimum another 10,000 miles on them. We could review after that.Oh and I have my inspection sticker and confidence in my vehicle's soundness.I went back to Eastern Tire this afternoon and spoke with Jessica. She had a pat answer of, "our mechanics have a special tool" Stone faced and unsympathetic or concerned.I never write reviews but this was egregious deception. Very disappointed and feel a trust broken.Addendum to response: I have been a customer since 2018, and your front of store people are polite and engaging. Although I was disappointed by Jessica's response to my question, it was civilized discourse.My issue was with the mechanical evaluation and recommendation for expensive and unnecessary repair work of a perfectly working, inspectable vehicle.Perhaps you have me confused with someone else as I have never made a complaint in your store or written a review regarding Eastern Tire until now.

We have been customers now for 5 years and every time we have had a consult or work performed, the staff have been courteous, friendly and go beyond the service norm for customer care. They also are damn good at what they do and offer quality, timely service.I would not go anywhere else!
