The shop I use sent a set of Edelbrock heads to this place. Waited almost 2 weeks to find out I needed 4 valves. They order the valves and it turns into next Tuesday. Then this Friday then we don't know when we'll have the valves. Clearly not equipped to do head work. Then they charge a canceled order fee and a restocking fee. I wish I could rate them negative stars. What a good way to have a shop lose a good customer because of some other company that can't get it together. I wish I could talk to the owner to resolve this matter.

Customer service needs improvement. Services were rendered in exact accordance with a Purchase Order (PO) that my company provided (based on prices quoted). After the work was completed, they refused to honor the PO price. Additional fees & misc materials were added. They refused to release our engine till the higher price was paid. I attempted to negotiate by meeting them half way - "no go". If changes in a PO price are going to be made they need to be discussed before the PO is executed and work is completed. The office lady was the most difficult to deal with and we will not trust them to honor a PO again.

4.0 star rating 9/26/2017Met Jeff the owner today and he was very well knowledgeable about my 3.7 Mercruiser inboard outboard engine.Took it in to him all disassembled ready to be rebuilt and he told me he will go over it and will get me off my estimate very soon.I asked him about checking the Manifolds and heat exchanger to make sure there we're no cracks or leaks in them and they can do that too for a little extra charge of $40.00 an Item, I was happy with that for I want everything checked over and rebuilt so as not to have missed anything in the rebuild.I am from East Millinocket, Maine and have heard good remarks about Engine Works Unlimited Machine shop and I am looking for a great job to be done to my engine as well.I traveled 194 miles each way but hopefully the work is good and it's well worth the drive and giving them my business.Dropped off engine today 9/26/2017 and he said ought to be ready in 2 weeks, we shall see giving him the benefit of doubt for I am a first time customer, and if job is done well I know allot of people in my area that may use his shop as well.Dave Thomas, East Millinocket, Maine.

Brought in my heads to be cleaned up a little and have a broken manifold bolt removed. Spoke with jeff. Wicked knowledgeable guy. I am still learning about engines and defintely confused head studs/bolts and asked about some silly impractical performance parts i didnt fully understand, but he was very patient with me and gave me some excellent pointers for my build. Nice shop, I can already tell they will do good work!

These guys are knowledgable and inexpensive. They work with you if you need something quick. We at 207 Motors send many parts to be cleaned, decked, and rebuilt. We have not had any complaints. Keep up the good work!

I have nothing but good things to say about these people ,,,I have been using them for 15 years with many boat engines and car n truck engines ....if you ever have a problem you pull the engine and bring it back the people complaining have no business using this place because they are un qualified to do the install work !
