I went in here for a sticker and knew I needed tires. Nick gave me a very reasonable quote on some tires and got them on that day. My car has never driven so smooth and quiet. Nick was very helpful. I definitely will be back for all of my future service.

VIP was so great when I brought in a car I had recently bought! There was a little scheduling mishap where my appointment was scheduled but no technicians were in yet, but they knew I was working on a tight schedule so they fit me in ASAP! Mike at the front desk made sure I was in and out quickly, and gave me some good extra info on my car. Very convenient location as well!

I had to have my Honda Accord towed on Saturday night. AAA said they're partners with VIP on Riverside Drive, so I said, Go for it. I'm so glad I did. My car was back on the road, with two new tires and an alignment, on Sunday at 1 pm. Gil was great. He shared his expertise in a straightforward way and completed our business with a smile and a couple recommendations. I was put at ease and I'll definitely be back for more!

I went to VIP Tires the first time in Dec 2023 for an alignment. I really liked the honesty and integrity of the mechanics and the overall experience was really great! They really know how to take care of their customers and cars like they're supposed to be! Thank you, Mark R. (Portland)

Extremely negative experience, would not return. Tires delivered here for install, and we called to add an oil change, which they confirmed. Show up, and we're told they actually can't change our oil. Ok... walk to a shop nearby to wait for the tire installation. 45 minutes go by, and they suddenly call saying the tires we ordered are wrong and they're not going to install them. Run all the way back over there...surprise, they're exactly the right tires, but the manager doesn't believe it. He was arguing that they "weren't run-flat tires" (they are), and declining to install them. Eventually was able to convince him that they're the right tires (they say what they are right on the side of them...), and they're finally installed. Requested a discount for the oil change snafu and the 45 minute disruption of my workday to argue with the manager and call the tire company for confirmation (yes, I had to do this myself), only for the manager to decline and claim he "doesn't have the authority to do that." Get in the car, car alerts that one of the tires is low on air, have to go back inside and ask them to put more air in so that they're even and within the appropriate range. Extreme lack of tire knowledge and expertise for a tire shop, and poor customer service.

I ALWAYS have great service at VIP but especially at this location in Westbrook. Everyone is very kind and professional and gets my car back to me as soon as possible. My car always works/runs great after the work has been completed. I have never had any issues and plan on bringing my car to this VIP indefinitely.

This team is awesome. I've been here twice now and they have an absurdly strong commitment to helping folks out and doing it ahead of schedule as well. Nice people, great service, great work. This is my go to shop for tires and tire services. I would trust them with engines too, I just haven't had the chance.Service: TiresService: Tires

Terrible experience. Do not take you car here.Extremely displeased with the service i received here on a recent visit for a possible repair of a slow leak.Was franticly told the hole was too far up the sidewall to fix. Was pushed into needing to buy a full set of tires because my car has AWD, and there was too much wear (only 18k miles). Was never shown a location of the hole they claimed to have found.Since the leak was so slow, I had them put the tire back on and I took it to Patriot Subaru. They found the culprit of a screw that was well within the fixable area.Piece of advice, if you want me to buy tires from you, don't try and push them on me when I don't need them and definitely dont' try and pull a fast one on me by not showing me the hole you claim is too far up the sidewall.

Best VIP location yet. I ve been to a few and would drive here any day. I knew my inspection was going to come with some hefty repairs. They did such a great job getting everything fixed and ready for the road. I had ordered a set of tires on the VIP website and scheduled the installation for a few weeks later. Unfortunately, that order was never placed so my tires were not in inventory when I arrived. For that part of the experience, I would rate VIP less stars, however the customer service I received from the local store was amazing. They worked with me for quite some time while I asked many questions so I could select another set of tires at a comparable price. These guys went above and beyond to find me what I needed and made sure the installation was done in a timely manner. I plan to schedule future service appointments at this location! (Westbrook Maine). Thank you for turning my experience into a positive one!

Back in September 2023, I needed some emergency work done on my vehicle. Dennis at the Riverside location was very accommodating and was able to get me in. The crew there were fantastic. Great service.

Amazing service and turn-around time. My car wouldn't start a few weeks ago and getting the car over to VIP was a breeze. Rather than charging me for a full diagnostics, they tested the battery and found that to be the issue before charging me extra for the diagnostics. The people working are very knowledgeable and friendly. Will be returning for future services.Service: Auto battery replacement

I was very pleased with the service that Nick and his team provided after I had had a flat tire on my car. I have an AWD car so I was afraid I would need four new tires but thankfully I only needed to buy one new one, since the other three were still pretty new. I felt that Nick had my best interests at heart. I really appreciate his service and the fast turnaround on a new tire. Now I need to go back and have them check my lug nuts, which is standard operating procedure after getting new tires. Thanks Nick!Service: Tires

The day I had my appointment the VIP in Westbrook had a surprise shortage in staff. They called and asked if I could change my appointment. When I told them I couldn't because of work, they kindly adhered to my original reservation. There was also an issue with a bolt when changing out my tires, and they quickly addressed the problem on the same day.Service: Tires

I was able to easily get a Saturday appointment at the Riverside location for a state inspection which turned into a brake job. All was done then and there and Eric was great at explaining everything. And they're certified by AAA so even a small discount!Service: BrakesService: Brakes

Desiree was especially helpful when it came to deciding what new tires I needed to purchase. She helped me identify the pros and cons of each tire then priced them all out for me. I didn t feel rushed or pressured and the new tires are great!

5/5 stars!! Mike was beyond friendly and was able to get me in super fast after one of my tires popped and I needed all new ones, as well as an alignment after taking it to another shop a month prior- they fixed what the other place messed up! Would recommend to anyone!Service: TiresService: Tires

Very accommodating, as I didn't have it scheduled in advance. They quickly got me in and did a wonderful job! Eric Rubino was my technician who did the work in a timely manner and was very patient with me at the end when my card wouldn't go through and people trying to call me. A few of us were joking at the counter and that is something that I appreciate. Laid back and personable while maintaining professionalism. I would definitely recommend Eric Rubino and his team down on Riverside Street in Portland/Westbrook. The price for my service I got was quite a bit cheaper compared to other places so that's also a plus.Service: Wheel alignment

Service was ok. Didn t appreciate the person revving my car excessively outside and inside the shop. Also don t feel it was appropriate to do a sound test for the exhaust with the garage door closed 6 feet behind the car and revving the car to its limiter in a closed warehouse/shop. They also forgot my spare tire after the service

Used their online scheduling to make an appointment for an oil change at 8am on a Saturday. I was greeted by Justin who was really pleasant and good at small talk. He took my keys and pointed me to the waiting room. My car was done before 8:30. I was really pleased with how quickly the service was preformed. I have used them when it was time to replace my tires and for brake work. Have not had a problem yet.Service: Oil change

I had a loose part on the undercarriage of my vehicle. VIP got me in quickly for an appointment. Brennon did the maintenance on the vehicle and provided an excellent and affordable fix along with good feedback. Desiree helped me on the phone and with the options moving forward with my car. She also was very helpful in connecting me to other local services. Very friendly and professional, I highly recommend them.Service: General repairs & maintenance

When I moved to Westbrook a few yrs ago did not know the area at all so me and my kids decided to use VIP in Westbrook and glad we did.We have always been treated well and they staff are great. I moved back to the Lisbon are and still come back down here when needed. My daughter moved back to Auburn and still comes back down to Westbrook to get her car serviced.Will continue to stay with them. Thanks for everythingService: Auto brake replacement

Went in with nail in tire, was given many different options of new tires and guided to the ones that best fit my vehicle. Eric Rubino and Rick Lyon were two great customer service team members. I was very happy with the service and made an appointment to have 4 new tires put on 7/31/23.

This VIP location has always been good, but more recently I had the most excellent service I ve ever received. My car needed the AC fixed, and Eric Rubino was extremely helpful. He explained every detail of what was wrong, what he had done to fix it, and even talked me through future preventative measures and what to look for. I was also helped by Desiree Lee, who was patient with me in my attempts to try and explain what was wrong. She was also very friendly and helpful and made me feel like I was in good hands.Service: Air conditioning

On 12-18-22 I had a late afternoon appointment for a oil change & truck inspection...they were almost finished when I forgot to mention I had a slow leak on my 2006 Canyon rear tire..I asked if they had time to possible fix it as it was almost closing time..the service rep #16086 looked at me,smiled & said no problem and took care of business..Most shops would have said,"bring it back tomorrow bud" but this gent went the extra mile & got it done..This shop's has got my vehicle business going forward..Joe Dyer
