Dillon and Ben are keeping Cory's VW Shop South humming even after a colleague recently left to pursue other opportunities. Always polite, friendly and willing to share their knowledge - these guys are great! Lost all gears while driving. Contacted Cory and the guys at The VW Garage and they were able to get me in the same day. Not only that, but the problem was found and properly mended that day! Picked the car up and it feels like a whole new car; incredibly grateful!Along with the severe issue, I had 4 new tires mounted and balanced without any damage occurring to the finish of the rims. They take pride in caring and protecting your vehicle, regardless if it's a $100k Porsche or $1000 beater. State inspection followed.The staff and crew are extremely courteous, honest, friendly/helpful and highly knowledgeable. A+. I refuse to take my GLI anywhere else.Services: Transmission, Tires, Vehicle safety inspection

I called to see if I could tow my car over after it stalled and wouldn't restart. SP was very busy, but Westbrook could take me sooner. Cory called me within 1 hour of AAA, dropping it off. He knew what it was but would have to take the engine apart to check how much damage there was. He told me that the best case scenario would be a $2200 fix. And a ton more if I didn't get lucky and needed to replace the engine. The next day, I got the call. I was braced for the worst. Instead, I was informed that my Tiguan was fixed, ready, and the total was less than the original "best case scenario" estimate. He said to buy a lottery ticket because I was having an incredibly lucky day. I love cars. Car maintenance? Not so much. I trust The VW Garage completely. The service was top-notch. I can think of a few things I'd rather spend $2k on, but I'm thrilled it wasn't more, and I had it back, all fixed within 24hrs. Thanks so so so much! See you for state inspection sticker in the next few weeks!

Staff was friendly, my low rating is due to the bill. Simple oil change cost $107 and I brought my own filter. Even the dealership only charges $69.00. Was hoping to use local mechanic, but given what they charge for an oil change that s not going to happen. Update: I received one voicemail from your shop where I was told you would offer a refund if I took down my review. Not surprised to see your message saying you called three times given you exaggerate figures.Service: Oil change

I am so glad these guys are here! My reverse lights were stuck on in my Audi and I'd been pulled over twice...I drove right up (never been there before!) and the owner (Corey?!) took care of it on the spot. Great bunch of guys, amazing Mechanic's, there all handsome!, I bought a Mercedes off them all in 2$ bills, because I'm 12, they thought it was as funny as I did. After we hosed off in antibacterial hand sanitizer, I drove into the sunset, got pulled over, arrested, bailed out with more 2$ bills and imma gonna STILL say it was a great experience
