Check-out guy was great. Guys inside seem great too. 2nd time in there seeing him. He is great w customers and explains everything. No pressure on recommendations. I like that. Brought my Sprinter in the first time and because of him remembering that he gave me a discount on the Volvo. Very helpful and means a lot. Business rarely does that anymore anywhere it seems but old school vibes here at Jiffy on Riverside. Thanks. Be back.

I did not have a good experience with this Jiffy Lube. To pass inspection, I had to change my tires, and the tires I got from my friend s Dad had rusty rims. Jiffy Lube put them on, passed my car for inspection, and later that night, one of my tires flew off while I was driving. When I called Jiffy Lube to inform them of this incident, they did not apologize, ask me if I was okay, and instead were rude and tried to completely place all blame on me. They claimed they told me it would be unsafe to put on rusty rims; however, I m unsure why they would put them on or pass my car for inspection if it was in-fact, so unsafe. My car ended up with at least a couple thousand dollars worth of damage, with the manager trying to tell me at first that there was less than $500 worth of damages and that essentially, it would be silly for me to go through insurance. While he did try to work out an agreement with me to take some ownership, in my opinion, the offers that were made were not fair based on what happened. I am very disappointed with my experience here, will not be coming back, and would not recommend this business to others. Finally, be careful when you re signing a receipt and maybe ask to read everything before signing, as they will not be transparent about what they re putting on there in order to try and prevent their shop from being held liable at all.

Stopped me the bay door to say our oil changes start at over $100 and only go up from there. Prompto was $31 instead. Ripoff alert!

DIDNT EVEN CHANGE THE OIL!!! CHANGE OIL LIGHT COMES ON DURING LONG TRIP!It feels like back home in Brooklyn here. Shady and rough. I couldn t get into my dealer during an emergency that caused me to travel a long distance. After trying to sell me new tires, lights and things I didn t think a jiffy lube would sell I got the bill. $130? I have no special lease or deal with the dealer so why is it so much higher? Full oil change at the dealer is $55 and I didn t even buy my truck there lol! Also why are you going through my glove compartment? And now my speaker is missing? What the actual F! I tried to get a refund and they just keep giving me the run around!!!! You can t run from my lawyer who will be calling you very soon!Service: Oil change

Went to this location yesterday late morning to get my car inspection done and it was super busy so I left and returned this morning at 7:30 to get it done when they open at 8. When they opened the gentleman told me oh we don t start doing those until 9 so it ll be about another hour and a half . I thought it was a first come first serve facility not based on what you were needing done. I was second in line. Won t be returning for any service.

I usually do not use Jiffy Lube but was in the area and decided to give them a try. When I pulled up I was greeted in a very short unfriendly manner. The tech almost seemed annoyed that he had to wait on me. I found the service to be a little slow and way more expensive than any other place I have gone for an oil change. I even used a $16 coupon and still payed $40 more than I usually do. Once the oil change was complete and my truck was pulled out of the bay, I had to wait almost 10 more minutes to get cashed out. Would not recommend Jiffy Lube.

They did a terrible job on my breaks, didn't offer to help me when I called. NO ONE has apologized and I just got off the phone with the owner, Derek who then tried to gaslight me when I pointed out there was no customer service or concern for my safety whatsoever. Scary they work on cars every day.

Very unprofessional, and highly pricingI had three consecutive bad experiences here!The first I went for a Prius state inspection sticker , they charged me $700 to fix what it needed for a sticker, I booked an appointment to another shop they fixed the car for $250 and passed the inspection.Second time I booked online the service ( transmission fluid change) and they quoted me $170 which I agreed but when I got there they said the person who does it was not present and asked me to come back ( that was a 40 miles drive one way to there). I came called that other day and that guy told me to come, but when I got there he told me that they can t do it since my car doesn t have a gauge ( that s how the manufacturer did it) we argued and he definitely showed unprofessionalism in talking and he left me in the line. I requested to talk yo the manager and he apologized.Lastly I recently went for another inspection, the car failed ( which is not their fault) and showed me what it needed . I asked that same may be mechanically good but very bad in customer service, and again charged me $950 to fix and provide inspection for just 4 issues ( two front tires, four corner lights bulbs, passenger side front ball joint and driver side rear brake pads) which I think is astronomical. Will never go thereAnd I advise not to waste your time going there.Service: Tires

Not the service I usually get, been here quite a few times and always got great service, but when I went this time, they didn t even vacuum my vehicle, for the price they charge, they should wash it too, no one was even there but me, so it wasn t like they were busy,

Worst place to go never again if you re a woman they will take advantage of you!! Oil leaking after an oil change went back and completely blew me off saying it was excess oil dripping nope!!! My oil was gone after 3 days. Went to a reputable place to tell me they didn t even twist my filter on. There incompetent what a waste of 80$Service: Oil change

I only went here because of Derek. I trust his recommendations, he explains things fully and I don t feel like I m getting scammed or a run around like at other places. The employees were quite polite, and done reasonably quickly. Nothing on them at all.However...It was the most expensive oil change I have ever had. For the price, I was expecting the CEO to swoop in with home-made baked goods, served on gold plates. I will not give Jiffy Lube my patronage in the future, because I have to be able to pay rent.

I asked the mechanic to check my air pressure during a oil change. The mechanic DID NOT put enough air in my tires. I had to drive to VIP Tire & Service where they were happy to put air in my tires. I will NEVER return to Jiffy Lube and tell all my friends about my experience with Jiffy Lube.

Stopped in for an oil change and inspection. Took a little over an hour but was fine with that. Car failed for a torn rear wiper and the ebrake not holding the vehicle when in drive. Fine no big deal. Go to pay for services and found out they didn't do a oil change. Little irritated but fine I'll have it done when I come back for the follow up on cars inspection. This is at 10am. There open till 6pm. I show back up at 5 minutes to 5pm telling them the brakes and wiper have been replaced. I'm told by the technician I'm off the clock at 5 and can't check it until Monday. Literally takes 2 seconds to pull the ebrake to see its been fixed. I've been in automotive service for years a dealership service manager prior to moving to New England. Thats really bad customer service. At this point I'm a little irritated I've driven 20miles back to a business that doesn't do what they say until they close. I was never informed they stopped inspections before they close. The manager had told me bring it back anytime with in the week to have it rechecked.

First time here. Forgot to get an inspection sticker and needed one on Saturday asap. The folks were nice and did their jobs. I was seen within the time frame that gave me. I could tell they knew their jobs too. I appreciate the first come first serve thinking and wouldn't let people cut the line. No issues going to the store next door for a drink as I waited. I passed and was on my way. Will be coming back. Thank you!

a huge thank you to tanner and jivey for going above and beyond yesterday...i called when i noticed i had a nearly flat tire, and even though it was almost closing time, they said i could swing by and they'd quickly check to see if it was just the valve stem, which it was...i had a compressor, so i figured i'd just reinflate the tire to hold it over till the morning when they reopened, but they offered to fix it right then, even though it meant they'd be staying late...they saved me a lot of hassle, and i'm so grateful for the generosity - they didn't have to do that - and the tire is doing great! thank you both so much for the excellent service - i'll definitely be back:)Service: Tires

Jiffy lube gets zero stars from me. I'm in an appointment for my car was told to work was going to be done to show up 3 hours later and they tell me they forgot about me for 3 hours and that they were unable to do any of the work that I requested and they still wanted half payment for the alignment well actually they wanted full payment I argued with them that I wasn't paying for all and then the guy told me that if it was not going to be able to be fixed he wasn't even going to charge me for the alignment. So he then proceeds to have a separate employee come into the store to wait on me to try and tell me I'm paying full price for the alignment. Wrong you don't get paid for services you don't do if anything they rented my car for 3 hours and gave it back again I give them zero Stars but in order to post this so all you other vehicle owners are prepared I have to give it a rating. So it's getting a star but they get zero Stars

After being told it would take 15 minutes, I wasted close to an hour here for an OIL CHANGE and was out $70 by the end. Told the employees I was in a rush, on a break from work, and they did not seem affected at all. One was even standing on his phone for 25 mins while I waited anxiously. Employee did not inform me adequately of the choices, and swiftly left once I had chose the expensive oil when I wanted to change my choice, leaving me no choice but to just eat the price.Service: Oil change

Quick and honest. I went in for an oil change on a company vehicle because the indicator said it was time. They let me know that it had 2000 miles to go that the oil had been changed there recently (not with me driving!)

I ve been here for over three hours on an hour and a half wait time. Even though I ve been one of only two cars for at least the past hour. Only after you ve already made the time investment of several hours do they tell you their outrageous prices because they know most people will just agree to whatever number they throw at them. There s also absolutely no communication as to delays in wait time either, so you might as well cancel all your plans. I m never coming back here again.

So since moving back to my home state of Maine in 2018, I have been coming to this Jiffy Lube for every oil change. There are coupons online, sometimes $16 off an oil change sometimes $10, but always a discount to be had. There may be other places to get cheaper oil changes but this location has always treated me right. Once I had a stripped oil pan bolt that they replaced for free since apparently the last guy stripped it and I went back to the same location. I got a light replaced for $25 buck, maybe less (it was a while ago) and they even told me the in's and outs of the Maine State Inspection when I had questions. But if you want to keep to yourself, just simply pay for the oil change and leave without talking to anyone. This is also the place for you. They have a clean lobby, a tv to watch while waiting and speedy service. I'll be back, heck I've been using them for three years and they haven't let me down yet! Check em out next time you need an oil change, and be sure to check online for any $$ saving coupons!

Went today. Didn't get acknowledged for 15 to 20 min by person at reception. He was busy (in and out) so didn't make an issue of it. Did feel upset later when I saw him almost immediately address a male customer that came in, however. Also he gave me a hard time about wanting conventional oil for my 2010 car. I've pretty much always gotten 5w20 oil, even w/out having to ask. But apparently that's now unheard of...even for an older car?? I get wanting to upsell but it was like I was being unreasonable. Told 2 diff people needed tire pressure checked. When I got in my car after they were done, pressure light was still on and receipt said I declined to have tire pressure checked (apparently along with a bunch of other things they reg check). I've never posted a complaint but this was such a frustrating exp, particularly with the person behind the desk, that I had to.Oh also..technician I saw wore gloves and mask. Man at reception did not. Even when moving my car.Service: Oil change

RIVERSIDE ST in Portland, MEI went there for an oil change and state inspection.Let s start saying that the manager on duty was completely unprofessional, rude and arrogant.He told me that the engine on my vehicle had to use synthetic oil because regular oil would cause damages to the valves and eventually ruin the motor.I knew everything that he was saying was bs and he was trying to make an extra dollar but I like to use synthetic oil anyway so I was ok for the $117 oil change.On top of that he made me waste 2 hours waiting for my vehicle to be inspect and after not finding anything wrong with my 2013 Honda CR-Z he decided to tell me that my 6 months old rear break rotors was too rusty. He failed to place the new inspection sticker on my windshield, told me to drive around with the E-Brake pulled then go back and he would place the new inspection sticker (WHAT A JOKE!).I ended up doing what manager told me and drove around for almost 3 hours with the e-brake pulled just a little and my vehicle had tons of smoke coming from the 2 rear wheels. I got out and looked at the smoke and realized it was unsafe and that my vehicle could of caught on fire.After waiting around for it to cool off, I look at the rear rotors and did not see any rust and the rotors was smooth just like the ones in the front. I went back to the location and the manager came out, looked at my rear breaks outside in the parking lot and told me to drive around more...? No thanks! After many years of being a customer (particular at the location in Portland) I m never going back!!!!
