Dennis and his team are 10/10. Been getting my mini serviced here for a couple years now. Even when the parts are pricey, they give me options. Thoughtful, straightforward, and super fair. Straight up earth angels!

This is hands down the best garage in town! They always do great work, they re excellent communicators, their prices are the most reasonable, and while the wait list can be a week or even a month out depending on the time of year, that s only because they are considered the best (or only) choice by so many locals who have tried other places and settled on Hamilton as their mechanics for life.

Great experience! The staff at Hamilton's really went above and beyond for me when my car was having a breakdown and just barely coasted into their shop. They knew immediately what the problem was, got the part ordered, and completed the repair in just a few hours while I was in town - despite being stacked up with other cars at the time. Maybe I just got 'lucky' and they happened to be waiting on parts for the other cars that day, I don't know, but whatever the case, they saved me a lot of hassle, missed work, and very expensive cab or Uber ride home. Big thanks to these super nice guys!Service: Brakes

The only place we ever have our vehicles serviced. The guys at Hamiltons have become family to us over the years. I couldn't ask for a better mechanic to be honest, reliable, and fair. I highly recommend everyone I know to go here for all cars.

This Garage is one of the most Helpful, Friendly and Professional I have encountered for some time. My converted Bus/Camper had broken a transmission line in the Maine Medical Center parking lot. We were stuck. Being here, from Northern Maine. We had no idea where we would get it repaired, on a Friday morning, with no appointment. We reached out to them to help us. They listened to our problem and the dilemma we had. They had compassion on us, made room for us in their schedule. They did a Great Job on the repair and for a really great price. They are a great couple of guys/mechanics, that really made our Stressful situation, alot lighter. We highly recommend this Garage.

I can't speak highly enough of Hamilton. They are responsive, professional, thoughtful, honest, straightforward, reliable, and a pleasure to work with. They run a great business and are accordingly pretty booked up every time you call, but the wait of a few weeks is worth it (assuming your vehicle is road-safe). They'll even give tips on things to do while you're waiting to get in to see if you can diagnose or mitigate the problem on your own. John and his staff were absolutely amazing! They were completely booked solid but he took my car in and said he'd get to it in a few days, but had it fixed before he even reached the day he told me he'd start working on it. Friendly, informative, fair people. I will definitely go back with any issues I may have in the future. HIGHLY recommend them!

Honest, quick and thorough. Three words I rarely hear when discussing auto mechanics, but three that definitely apply to my experience with Hamilton's. They gave me a clear picture of my repair, including cost and time, and came in under on both while resolving the problem. I will definitely go back to them if I need future repairs.

I was a first time visitor to Portland. I was using my son's car and it developed a loud rattle under the car.Even though they were booked solid for the day they squeezed me in and found a loose heat shield.They tightened it up and did not charge me! Oh and they were extremely pleasant during the entire interaction.I think my story speaks for itself but I highly recommend them for their customer service and honesty.This car issue could have easily taken up a whole day of our 3-day vacation in Portland. Instead it was fixed and we were on our way in no time.

We blew a radiator an hr and a half from home. Made it to his shop just before close. They took it in passed closing g and diagnosed. Allowed my family to stay in shop and keep warm till our ride came. Car was fixed next day at a fair price. Great service

My Wife and I have been using Hamilton's for over 20+ years and nobody will touch our vehicles other them Hamiltons! The amount of work and different repairs they have done through the years is endless. I really like that you can count on an A+ repair and know that they will always only do what is needed! Knowing nothing about auto repair this is so important to us! i can't tell you how many times I have brought in my wife's car with a noise and they look at it and diagnose it with being nothing then send me on way to rebuilding a Subaru engine for me and everything in between! I highly recommend Hamilton's! I've been going there for a few years for oil changes and regular maintenance, but today, they outdid themselves. My car started making a scary screeching noise and I called them hoping they could at least have a quick look at it and let me know what the problem was. Not only did they do that, but they identified that it was unsafe to drive with this problem and promised to fix it today, even if it meant they had to stay late. It was service above and beyond the call, and they did it with kindness, friendliness, and humor.I'm so grateful to Hamilton's and will continue to go there as long as I live in the area!

These guys are awesome. They have always treated me fairly and honestly. One time they told me I could get a part I needed from online for $20 and make the repair myself. They easily could have charged me over $300 to do it themselves and I wouldn t be any the wiser. I tell anyone who asks me about a mechanic to go here.

Amazing experience with Dennis. I just moved to Portland so needed a place to take my Honda after it suddenly was sounding like a motorcycle with no muffler. Dennis got me in the next day, called me an hour after I dropped off the car to let me know what was wrong, and completely fixed it 4 hours later. My go to shop forever!

I too have to add my 5 star rating. I was visiting from Boston and experienced shaking in my steering wheel and floorboard once I got off the highway. I called first thing Monday morning (technically before they were open) and Dennis said I could drop it by. He said he d try to squeeze me in that morning. I got a call soon after letting me know one tire was about to fall apart and the other 2 were getting there too. Short story he ordered the tires for me and quoted a few days, but the next morning they were already ready!! I was so blown away by their going above and beyond. Especially during the holidays. Thank you Dennis for treating me like a local and like family. Will definitely be back.

I have a son in the NICU at MMC and had realized this place was within walking distance which is the reason I chose them. I only have 1 vehicle and am driving back and forth 1 HR and a half to work between being with my son. I had experience some issues with my car and called Hamilton Service and explained what was going on with my car and my son. They were able to get me on same day, replace both inner and outer tie rods on both sides as well as a high pressure power steering hose and also let me know about a couple other things of need soon but was okay for now. They did all that at a fair low price and are extremely friendly and professional and I recommend them without any doubt hands down.....5 STARS ALL DAY

Breen is a down to earth Mechanic. You will be impressed with the warranties for parts and labor. Please know Hamilton's care about the "common person" and you will always have a solid estimate. I have trusted Hamilton's for more than 5 years & many of my friends also visit when they need their vehicle serviced also.

I've been using Hamilton Service Station for more than 8 years now! They are the best in the Greater Portland area. These guys are amazing. Not only do I trust them completely when they tell me something needs to be fixed, which can be hard to find in that profession, but they have always completed work on time and they have been able to work around my scheduled. I could go on and on: friendly, kind, amazing customer service but I think you get the point.

Breem and Dennis and crew are fantastic here! Breem is so fantastic about explaining what is going on and very very fair in prices. We have purchased two used Toyota hybrids recently and have brought them here for Breem's blessing and he has given us a thorough examination and some pointers on important repairs needed before purchase. Breem has a passion that he brings to car repair that is unusual and you feel so well taken care of by him. I couldn't recommend Breem and his team more!

Everytime I go to this auto shop I get my car fixed, and I have never had to go back for the same problem. Staff are friendly and experienced and always advise me for what's better for my vehicles.

This garage was very prompt, never had to wait long, either time that I went (I came here off of recommendation of a friend). The staff was more than kind! I will be back for future needs!
