Got windshield wiper replacements, front and rear windows, here- excellent service! Alex and Jeremy were super helpful, professional and made it very easy to swap one of the wipers I purchased because it didn t come with the attachment it should of had!Highly recommend!!

Cashier was new that s fine and understandable. Asked for manager to come over multiple times for help, they did not stick around to help solve issue.The issue was for reason I could checkout without providing phone number, and full name for a 1 item cash purchase. It was not explained why these details were needed.I had cash in hand, this transaction should have been in and out in less than 2 minutes, it was around 10.

My battery light came on so went to the Congress St location to have the battery and charging system tested. Dale tested the system and found the alternator was bad. I live an hour away and wouldn't make it home so he called a local Sullivan Tire location and they got me in and repaired on short notice. I appreciate the consideration and extra effort by Dale to help me out, excellent customer service!

Don t come here if you ve accidentally lost a receipt and want to make a return. I have all relevant information necessary for a return (item unused, date and time of transaction, credit card number, etc) but the incredibly unfriendly unhelpful gentleman at the register was no help at all. Thanks for making my decision to not buy from you guys ever again that much easier. Glad I m now stuck with a $50 item I don t need either.

The customer service at this store is next level. I have anxiety when it comes to car problems so I always go here because the employees are extremely helpful, patient and understanding. There is a man there (I can t remember his name but it starts with an M!) and he helped me check my battery and made my whole day! This is the only auto store I feel comfortable going into and trust those guys with my life.

My car was burglarized , and the door was left ajar enough to have the lights stay on and kill the battery . I went to advance auto parts and they were able to take care of me . The guy that helped me was very helpful . The battery wasn't cheap though . I could have gotten one for a little over $100 but I didn't

Employees are a joke. Second time I have been lied to about an order. Placed an order 3 days ago for both complete steering knuckle assemblies for my 2017 Camry. Was quoted a price for said parts and told said parts were ordered and that I would be notified by phone when said parts arrived. 3 days later and no phone call. So this morning I placed an order with Rock Auto. The parts will be to me tomorrow. Over a hundred dollars cheaper WITH tax AND shipping. And parts are Moog, not Dorman, which is the only brand available at the overpriced parts store.

Incredibly knowledgeable, kind, and helpful staff. I was fed up with the mechanic I had been to. Advance Auto helped me replace my spark plugs and ignition coils in a day. They did not have the ignition coils in stock when I was there around noon but by 6pm that evening I had them installed and my check engine light was off. Saved me a boatload of money and was a huge sigh of relief. Thanks!

"Advance" is always my first choice for auto parts. I pass 2 NAPA locations to get there, but it's well worth the trip for the price, quality, friendliness and knowledge of the employees, and if they don't have your part in stock they can get it as soon as the next day. On my last trip I had a need for a serpentine belt for a custom application that wouldn't have been in their computers. The manager knew exactly what to do, and we were able to get the exact length and fit that I needed on the first visit to the store. That's "perfection" in my mind. Thanks!

I always place my order online and then I go pick it up at the store. Doing it this way I have gotten 15% to 20% off each time. Just make sure the parts are right I had to exchange brake pads once and instead of just exchanging them the cashier did a return and then I had to buy the right ones and it took 3 days to get my money back when he should have just given me the right ones. Minor inconvenience for me but some people can't afford to have something like this happen to them.

Got a new face for my car stereo but no one there told me I would need wiring harnesses and installation kits and tools. I s definitely should have researched more but they should have at least asked if I had all that already or needed it. I still don't have music in my car....

This is where I usually go for parts. Went today and not a single employee was wearing a mask so I left. I don't usually care that their customer service is lacking, I know what I want when I go there. I grab it pay and leave. I went to south portland to a different auto parts store, that require masks and every employee was wearing them. I will from now on drive there for parts even after the pandemic. As an RN I was really disappointed in Advance Auto Parts.

CHECK THE RETURN POLICY BEFORE BUYING ANYTHING! I went to pick up auto parts here and AutoZone in South Portland to do a repair on my car. We purchased all the parts we could need to do the repair, without being aware that they would refuse to take most of it back. The cashier we had, Tasha G., NEVER I FORMED US OF THIS POLICY when purchasing these items. Had she mentioned it, we wouldn t be out $60+ for parts that we will never use. I feel incredibly duped about not being informed that these parts are non-refundable.We did the same thing at AutoZone and they took all the same types of parts back WIHOUT ISSUES. Will never be a patron at Advanced Auto Part again, due to shady customer service representatives and non-disclosure of extremely limited return policy. Go to AutoZone, they are more knowledgeable anyways.

Was sold the wrong sized brake pad, well over an 1/8th inch longer than the original. After checking all the pads they had for a 2011 Altima they all were defective and longer than they should be. The customer service rep didn t seem to care in the slightest that my car was inoperable and up on a jack, instead saying I should buy a grinder and make it shorter. Never had an issue like this before but was very disappointed in the lack of compassion and horrible customer service given to my situation. Will be taking my business to Napa from here on out.... horrible

Best customer- service, always insisting to be of help- whether helping me to find the correct oil - to actually accompanying me out to my vehicle toput it in for me. Answers my many ,novice questions with patients,and if they are not able to look locate the item,they go the distance,and find where I can aquire the item!- I have been coming here for as long as I can remember,small,local,andnon-intimidating.
