The crankshaft sensor in my car broke, so I went to O'Reillys in order to get a new one. I called a mechanic shop down the road and they basically said they had to sell me a crankshaft sensor in order to work on it. Bs. I tried to take the faulty sensor out thrice by myself to no avail. I then called Dave. I told him how frustrated I was about how I was denied service for having my own sensor. Dave himself came to my aid amidst a personal issue and worked thoroughly to get this rusted part out. I sat by him as he worked, and as expected, it was a nightmare. After about two hours, I had to go, so I gave him the money I owed him and left. He spent another hour or so trying to get the piece out. He called me and told me he got it out, and I rushed over. He stayed in order to see whether my car would start, and she started right up. The amount of dedication he had for this project especially considering his personal circumstances were incredible.
