I went in seeking a fuel pump for a Chevy truck I just bought. I specifically told him the pump in my truck had 1 connector, not 2. I was reassured by the clerk that the one I was buying had 1 connector. Lo and behold I get home and there is 2 connectors(wrong part). Not only did I get sold the wrong part, they refused to let me return it because of some electrical return policy . I even returned to the store the same day to the same cashier! Wouldn t recommend this store unless you want to walk out 180$ short

I had called to see if they in fact had a specific part in stock. They told me over the phone after asking twice if they had it, that they in fact had it. They pulled it to hold it. Unfortunately it was the wrong part as it went to a different vehicle. Then gave me the wrong part telling me it was the right one. Got all the way home and realized it was not the right part. Had to wait for the next day to go return it. Called them 21 times, never answered the phone. When we showed up 1 hour after opening time the guy was just standing behind the counter doing nothing as the phones were going off. I made sure it was the correct part and went off on my way. Took my old part to match it. Not very happy.

I purchased blinker bulbs from here and they did not fit my car at all. The cashier said they was the kind that the catalog said fit my car and because I opened them, they would not take them back. My fault for not checking first but heads up to check the part you need before trusting their 'catalog' or just save the headache and go to O'Reillys like I should have done in the first place.

Went here yesterday for a replacement starter so we could use the military discount and ensure we were ordering the right part vs ordering it online ourselves only to be told by the young guy at the counter that he couldn't find anything in the system. Drove half an hour away to another advanced store in Windham while visiting family and we were able to order it there and get it shipped on the hub to south Paris. Clearly someone is unfamiliar with the search engine and requires more training.

I went in to get 02 censors, I called first to make sure they had it. I get there and the guy goes back to get the part. His partner who was busy making excuses to a customer turns around and yells to the other guy "your getting the wrong part" and yells the part number to him. They gave me the part and completely neglected to tell me it was a universal O2 censor and not specifically for my car. poor service, by poor employees, who are just doing the bare minimum. Nice enough guys but come on man.

Super helpful friendly staff, always have what I need and if they don't they will have it in a day or two. UPDATE mostly new staff couple of them are very dry. Prices aren't as good as they used to be not my preferred parts store anymore.

Very professional clerks. Saved $500.00 on brakes for all 4 wheels compared to what I was quoted at a Chevrolet dealership. They also brought the parts out to my car. Plus $20.00 off on my next purchase for every $100.00 I spent. I will definitely continue to buy my parts at Advance Auto.

Every time I go in there they know my truck they know me personally know me by first name they gave me what I need and they always ask me if if they need a tape measure and figured that part out yet LOL South Paris you rock

Over the phone or in person, couldn't ask for better customer service. Suggestions for my questions have always been right on spot. Really appreciate the well-trained and knowledgeable staff

The staff here is all around solid, unfortunately their selection has gotten weak and I've twice had tools I bought there break pretty quick, they replaced them no problem, even without a receipt, again, good staff, the store as a whole could be better

Since Carquest has been bought out. my experience getting a human on the line in under 20 minutes is almost non existent. the customer service aspect is now gone. and its too bad because carquest used to bend over backwards to make it right for us and do EVERYTHING they could to help us out when they could. hope it gets better.
