stopped with the parents to check out the facility and machines, was informed by security they required 2 forms of ID to even concider entering the restaurant or use restrooms. Only had my Driver's license so was turned away. I got a chuckle after cause my folk apperently made it through without that requirement, probally saved money in the long run this way but not an first time experience that makes me wanna go back.

I thought I was gonna love this place, but it's a hotel first, with a casino second. Ended up staying the night, I did not want to cash advance on my card using my pin, so the teller told me I couldn't after producing my valid state id, my passport, my firearms ID card, and my police officers Union State id card. There answer was this, since you've told me you know your pin number, I cannot complete the transaction for you, even though if I used my pin. I'd still have to go back to the cage for the money. We said we'd spend the night, drive to Logan and I write this from the brand new sphere hotel which comped me my two night stay after telling them the story, all for a red eye 169.00 round trip airfare and after losing about 2k it was worth every pennyRooms: Since we couldn't get money from your cashier, we played rummies in the room. Nice

FOR THE LOVE OF ALL THAT'S HOLY, TAKE ME OFF YOUR MAILING LIST!We arrived at 3:15pm: check in staff were wonderful. Guest Services staff were wonderful. The room is very average and the casino is small but has a nice mix of brand new slots and old time slots. In the morning, I went down to the 1st floor to get some chips. I'm in my pajamas, still in a dream state. The checkpoint staff, to get in to the casino, would not let me in without an I.D. even though I had last nights stamp on my hand. He said "That's a different color" I stated that I NEEDED an ID last night to GET that color. The cafe was literally 100 feet away! Still would not let me in. So, I walked over to the front desk, to two staff AND a manager and they said, as well, "Sorry! You need an ID to get in!" I don't get upset at much unless it's based on complete stupidity. THEN I get angry. This was simply very bad personality behavior, topped with no support for their paying customer and poor customer service. As you can see from the photo, it states guests MAY be subject to an ID check. I JUST WANTED ******* POTATO CHIPS! So basically, night staff; great. Morning staff; bad.

We rarely get out and thought for our 32nd anniversary we would try Oxford Casino Hotel! We had such a fun time! The room was very clean! Loved that you have an outside smoking section! (Yes, we're dirty smokers! LOL) Loved the cafes! We didn't have to leave at all during our stay and the food was so delish, and very reasonably priced. The staff, awesome!! Had a great experience and will definitely be back! WITH FRIENDS

Resturant Pub! Casino chips, if you like to lick a salt block with dry beef! This is your dish. Was not enough sour cream to cover it up. Dry potato chips that were chewy and very salty. Take it from a southern big man that this food was lack luster and buying a burger and fries down the road would be better. Wish I had pictures, but please try something else for 24$ Casino chips. *** Coworkers enjoyed them a few nights later. So maybe just a chef having a bad night, I tried them and much better the next go. Been there every night this week. Food has been really good.

We didn't stay at the hotel we just visited the casino. It is a great stop in Western Maine! There are lots of games to choose from. There are table games, an attached restaurant, and the hotel is right on site.

Sadly, I have had to change my review on the Oxford Casino. After coming here more times than I can count. I am done! I went to check in to my room and was told it was going to cost me $31 dollars more.. for early check in... I was only 1 1/2 hours early. The amount of times that I have stayed in this hotel and to be told this was crazy! No loyalty to guests. MGM Springfield and Encore remember who we are and take better care of us. Casino floor still very nice but the rooms are looking tired and not as clean. There are so many options now if you are looking for a fun night out.. I'll be going elsewhere.

My brother and I had a funeral in Harrison to attend and decided to stop here for a drink on our way home. I wish now we had made this a part of our plan. It kinda feels like being in another world. Everyone should stop and have a look-see at least once. And it was announced that someone won over 200k in a drawing of some sort. YippeeFood & drinks: An endless supply

Contrary to other reviews I have read we found the rooms to be clean and comfortable. Maid services offered every other day. This location is convenient if you want to enjoy the casino. It is 45 minutes from the water. On rainy days it gets very crowded as it does on weekends since there are limited entertainment options. Generally an older crowd which should not be a surprise. Plenty of slot machines and there are usually a few table games that are open. We enjoyed the pub for dinner one night where we had chicken parmesan and mushroom ravioli which were both good. If you visit in the fall you have the bonus of the foliage as a wonderful attraction to go along with the casino.

We love going to Oxford. Its a great date night..you can gamble have dinner and get a room for the night which is usually compt.. Rooms: Are very nice..Food & drinks: Love there menu and, they offer a GF menu too

It is a bit of a ride depending on where you live but overall a great little casino. The clam chowder at the bar is awesome and they have a pretty good selection of bourbons. Always enjoy going here very clean and always good service.Rooms: Only stayed here once a few years ago but I was very comfortable in my room with no complaints.Food & drinks: Awesome clam chowder and great bourbon selection

A few days ago my wife and I stayed for our third visit to the Oxford Casino. This most recent trip will unfortunately be our last. First I must say the staff is exceptionally courteous and kind. The casino room floor is very clean and the food is great. Our issue is with the room we stayed in. The mattress and pillows were so worn in and uncomfortable that we woke at 5am with sore backs and necks. I'm in my mid 30s and very fit, and I've never had such pain from a mattress in my life. Zero support. Additionally, our shower was gross. The floor tiles grout was filled with mildew and was in serious disrepair. We could not shower out of health concerns due to the state of it. (See attached photos). One of our table side lamps was broken, and there was hair in the sink. A few other things to mention was the ATM on the floor was broken, and the vending machine did not dispense a drink I was charged for. It was not a great stay which is a shame because it was our vacation week and we had looked forward to it for some time. Again, great staff, but poor room conditions.

My husband & I had never been here before but decided to give it a try. Cute place as far as the casino goes (we did not go to the hotel). However, trying to navigate the casino with a wheelchair was a less then desirable experience. The layout does not accommodate someone in a wheelchair. It's more of a fight then an enjoyable experience & the sidewalks arnt great for a wheelchair either. However if you don't have a wheelchair there are lots of games to choose from.

This was our second visit in two years. First visit was fabulous. This visit was brutal. Made our reservations over a month ago. Three nights and it was not inexpensive to have a room.We arrived at 6pm and we were immediately blocked in by the parking lot security telling us that we had to leave. There was a one night policy of no trailers due to the HUGE jackpot drawing at 8pm. We had just driven 6 hours with our motorcycle in the trailer. No where did it say that we couldn t park our trailer in our reservations or policies for the weekend.I went inside to check in and the female desk associate was worse than the mall cop in the parking lot. She tells me that I can t stay and the trailer ban is for 3 days. She proceeds to tell me I can stay if I park my truck or trailer down the road at Walmart. I asked to speak with the Manager and she never came out to acknowledge me.Instead a security guard came out and told me no exceptions. So as I tried to find a new hotel, the security guards stood over me as to say I just leave. The only one at the front desk that was helpful was Jeffrey. He showed empathy and concern to our needs. The desk Manager did come out of her office, but never acknowledged me. As a Manager, it is her responsibility to attend to the guests.The Hampton Inn across the street ended up being booked for the nights we needed, but they did let us park our trailer and bike overnight with no questions asked. They were fabulous!So after being told no trailers and no exceptions, when we went to bed at 11pm we noticed a truck with a large camper parked in the parking lot taking up four spaces. Very poor customer service on the behalf of the Manager on duty and the female desk employee.Jeffrey, Roger(security guard) and Kala(waitress) were fabulous and made my birthday weekend better. This was our first trip away since October 2021. Based on the reviews I have read, this seems to be a common problem.The rooms are very high priced and the mattresses were horrible. This was not the case two years ago.I hope someone with credentials reads this and makes a change. It could be a fun get away in a central location of a Maine.

When they have drawings people who are not even playing the machines are knitting or reading n still on on the drawings that is unfair. But over all everything is very nice.8.00 for a glass of wine half full serious?????Rooms: Beds need to be replaced

I come here every week and my experience is always awesome. From hotel staff to casino staff and Oxpub staff, they are always so pleasant and helpful. The only concern I have is the lack of Microwave in the entire hotel or restaurant. Ive wasted so many left overs for this reason. If you could please dedicate a microwave station somewhere or add them to rooms. The restaurant food is always great and portion is just right but we cant always finish it (because we want to play) and want to save it for later.

Only went to the casino. Very clean. The bathrooms were exceptional! Thank you to the service staff!Extremely friendly staff as well.My only complaint is I didn't win. Lol. But I did watch a man win BIG 3 times (21k total) in less than 30 minutes... he took screen shots and sent them to his wife. Yep, I was a bit jealous. Lol
