My husband and I were on our way to Moosehead Lake, ME when we discovered we had a leak in our black tank. We called several repair shops and no one could help us. They were all booked. We kept trying and found John at River Road RV repair. He took us right in, repaired our tank and we were back on the road in just a few hours. His work is amazing and his willingness to help us out was outstanding! I can't say enough about him. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!! THANK YOU JOHN!!

John was absolutely fantastic to deal with. When he learned I was from out of state he freed up sometime in his schedule to help me with a problem with my trailer brakes. I have had my RV to several service centres over the last two or three years and nobody seemed able to fix the problem. John did a great job, explained thoroughly what the issue was, and had me up and running with only labour charges. He was very honest, had taken pictures of the issue, and took the time to explain everything thoroughly. I cannot recommend highly enough River Road RV repair!

John and his team are superb. We have high standards (of course, like everyone) and the work done on our RV exceeded our expectations. Not only are they reliable, efficient, fair and excellent technicians, but extremely nice also. I would not go anywhere else. They are definitely worth any wait and any distance to get there. We were in Maine a couple of hours from River road RV when our refrigerator went out. Over the next couple of days, John help me troubleshoot the RV and tentatively diagnosed a problem. Then we drove to his place near Bangor and he had us fixed and running again in a couple of hours. He is one of the most helpful people we have encountersed anywhere. If we could, I would give him a 15 out of 10.

For 3 weeks John strung me along with the promise to get the work done on my van. I went to see him to get it scheduled and he told me he didn t have time to do the job at all. Very poor customer service. Beware.

We had a problem with our hydraulic jacks on our motorhome. One would not retract correctly. We made an appointment with John at River Road he was able to get us back on the road again and put a new solenoid in our hydraulics and top off our tank he was so gracious and knowledgeable. He really knows what he's doing. We highly recommend him and trust him. We would come back for service if we are in the area.

My husband and I own have have loved our 1999 Catalina for over 20 years. The roof is giving us trouble and we have waffled on getting it repaired. We took it to them for an estimate, no idea that it would cost $100 just for them to take a look. Pretty easy money for them, since we decided it is not a good investment to get the thousands of dollars worth of work done. They figured 40 hours work at $100 an hour plus materials. Way too steep for an old camper like this. I went into the wrong profession and so did my husband. Neither of us ever made that much per hour. Wow.

I have been full time RV living for 2-1/2 years. During that time I have used RV repair services in several states. I have used the two large dealers in the Bangor area and found their work to be substandard and the prices too high. River Road RV Repair in Orrington was a very different and pleasant experience. I was having trouble with two slides on my fifth wheel. My RV is older and parts are hard to find. Jon and his crew diagnosed the problems, devised solutions that worked, and got the work done promptly and at a lower price than estimated. He kept me informed throughout the process and welcomed me to inspect the work as it was happening. In my experience this is rare for RV repair facilities.On a second occasion I was scheduled to leave the area on the following morning when my propane regulator failed. It was Friday before a holiday and I knew that Jon had a lot of work in the shop. Nonetheless, he managed to get a tech out to my RV and get the job done in time for me to stay on schedule.I highly recommend River Road RV Repair. Jon and his crew do great work. The prices are very fair. Calls are returned promptly by either Jon or Sara (his wife). If you have RV problems or just need annual maintenance in Central or Downeast Maine, River Road RV Repair is the place to go

They did a tremendous job on our RV. We are from out of town so we appreciate good repair facilities. John, Mark and staff worked hard at getting our RV up and running and ensuring a quality job. We definitely recommend them and will return if we are in the area again. Thanks for a great job!

In the dozen or so years my wife and I have owned an RV, River Road RV In Orrington Maine is flat out the best RV facility I ve ever worked with. I met them quite by accident when they made a service call to rescue me last fall as the slide out on my class A RV would not retract. After correcting that situation, I have kept them busy with a lengthy list of repairs, projects and enhancements over the winter, all of which were accomplished in the utmost skilled manner. Their entire staff is professional, knowledgeable, accommodating, and friendly. Their facility is neat, clean, and well organized, and convenient to the Bangor International airport. They have done such a stellar job, that I am now basing my motorhome at their facility in Maine rather than in my home state of Pennsylvania. It s worth the trip for the excellent level of accommodating service. I have no reservations whatsoever in highly recommending River Road RV in Orrington Maine for all of your RV service and storage needs. In one word fantastic !

New to the area and was told to give River Road a try. Very happy I did and Danny came to the KOA we were at and explained what he found and corrected the leaks we were experiencing. The next rain storm will see if all is well. Wouldn t hesitate to call them again if needed.

They fixed our power roof vent and put a new one in because the old one had a crack and leaked. They had it fixed in less than a week and we love the new one that they put in and best of all no leaks.

Stopped in looking for a small plumbing part, something the larger rv supply stores and none of the hardware stores could help me with. Got the help and part I needed and the price was super reasonable.
