They wanted $75 just to reset the dashboard lights, not even for a diagnostic service! I've done this myself many times and already know the errors.

Great service, honest and trustworthy garage. My UMaine son is 3 hours away from home and his car wouldn't start. Had it towed to Murray's and they had it fixed and ready by the end of the day. No unnecessary charges, great communication with us (the parents). They cleaned a part that other garages would have told him to replace unnecessarily (and would have cost us a lot more money). As a mechanic household that does most of our own repairs, this was the exact approach we would have taken ourselves on a car with 300k miles, had we been closer. Once it was done, both mechanics test drove it to make sure everything was safe and sound, all with very minimal labor charges - and added peace of mind for us. It's not often that you find a business that looks out for your kids safety (and our wallet) as thoroughly as this place did. Highly recommend!

They were really good people there and helpful. They help me the best they can. I would recommend anyone go there with there vehicle. Have nothing bad to say about them.

My son called about getting his truck fixed so he can come home for Thanksgiving. He's in college and lives 3 hours away... he was told it could be towed and fixed Friday. When he called to ask about it today he was told it couldn't get done and you were booked all next week. That is terrible customer service I am very dissatisfied and would not recommend this place .

Pragmatic and honest mechanic. My son goes to Orono 10 hours from home so finding a good local mechanic is important to me. He needed new tires a few months back and went to a different place to buy them. That mechanic noted a front-end problem with the sway bar, and quoted $1200 for the fix. We went to Murry's for a 2nd opinion. Murry's determined the front bumper had gotten pushed in (off roading in Maine I guess) and was brushing against the tire. 30 minutes of labor and a few zip ties solved it. Added bonus was that Murry's also found some incomplete work from the guys who sold us the tires, and fixed that too.

I called because I had seen good reviews but the lady who picked up was rude and unconcerned about what I needed to get fixed. She was asking curt and rude questions and responding to my questions with clearly discernible impatience. When I asked if they can fix my transmission, she lost patience and basically asked me to take my business elsewhere. I just wanted complete information before I went in. When I asked about an appointment, she just told me everything was full and didn't even give me a time window when they were available. Maybe their work is decent, but they lost a customer because of their front desk.

Excellent, Friendly, Helpful - Helped my college student with a minor problem. Very reasonable charge. They very well could have taken advantage of me as I'm 350+ miles away and couldn't do the work myself. Will definitely use them again if needed and would highly recommend.

**PLEASE READ**Hopefully you're reading this review before you bring your car here to get service done. It took my employee 4 weeks to get his car back and it was in worse condition before it was brought in. Car was dead on the side of the road the same day even though they said it was road tested with a new inspection sticker. They had no problem overcharging for the work done and cussing us out over the phone when questioning. The owner would not give us her name and hung up the phone after calling me a bold face liar.Services: Steering & suspension repair, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic, Auto engine tuning

I stopped in today expecting to set up an appt for a wheel bearing. They took me right in, called me with an update and an estimate and did the work that day. The customer service was very fun and friendly. Murray's is my new garage!

Wouldn t recommend if you own a Saab. They flat out told me to never buy one after trying to get mine inspected there. Completely disregarded a broken coil spring and radiator leak but still failed me for not having a muffler. They also tried to say I need to replace the whole exhaust which would run at almost $1000 for something that I can just weld and repair myself for $50. Not a great experience.

Kind hearted workers who strive to do their best. Called two other places to fix car, was gonna take a week or more to get me in. Murray's took me the next day- and it was SO much cheaper than I thought it would be

Brought in a car for inspection recently - it wasn't ready, but it only needed one thing, and the mechanic showed me exactly what was wrong under the car. Quite an honest mechanic, if you ask me. I will be repairing the issue and bringing the car back in to him!

They really try to take care of you. They offer a student discount (10% I think) They are friendly, and will contact you if the cost of repairs is going up. They will keep you on the road.

These people are just good honest workers. They have been extremely considerate, fair and friendly. I would definitely recommend them as mechanics.
