I ve always loved Jackson s, we ve been going there for 4 years now and Joey and the other staff are super friendly! I ve never had a bad experience here and they can usually get our car in pretty quickly. Also as a woman I ve never been treated unfairly or talked into getting work done on my car that isn t necessary. Highly recommend going here.

Been going to this family run business for years and will continue to do so for many more to come. They've always treated me with respect and care, I trust them with my vehicles safety therefore my life. Wonderful & knowledgeable staff. Great work at a fair price

I have always had excellent customer service when dealing with Jackson's. They go above and beyond making sure they can fit me in whenever I have had an issue with any of my vehicles. I have been doing business with them for over 30 years both professionally and personally. I would highly recommend them. They also always give back to the community.

My family has been taking our vehicles to Jackson's Automotive for years. They are professional, helpful, and knowledgeable every time. They try to help you effectively fix problems without nickle and diming their customers. Joey is incredible at going the extra mile. When I moved to a new area something went wrong with my car and I could not take it to Jackson's. Over the phone, Joey helped me evaluate quotes that local shops had given me to understand if the prices and solutions they proposed were reasonable. I would highly recommend them to anyone in the area!

Jackson's Automotive is top notch! They run that shop with nothing but honesty and integrity. If someone left a bad review it is because they were a terrible customer. Joe and Joey are very easy to work with. They have some very talented men working in the shop. They take care of their crew and their customers, 100%. Top notch garage! Highly recommend!

Jackson's is the only place I trust to repair my vehicle. They are incredibly honest, hardworking, and down-to-earth. You get what you pay for and they are worth so much when you have peace of mind that your family is safe on the road. Thanks to Joe and Joey for all the help over the years. We ve been bringing our cars to Jackson s since we moved to Old Town in 2020. We have had nothing but positive experiences with them. They treat us fairly, as a younger couple and family it is important to have a place we trust. We re always able to get in when needed.Once I popped a tire and within a week blew it again (both my own fault), and they were kind enough to cut me a deal even though it was my fault.My FIL is a foreman at a garage in Southern Maine and when we ve talked to him about what our experience has been he always raves that we re lucky to have found a honest, small owned garage.I would highly recommend Jackson s to anyone looking for a small, honest garage in Old Town!

I have nothing but good to say about Jackson s They have always been more than fair they go above and beyond I d recommend anyone to this place. In fact, I have I ve also seen people from my hometown, which is not close by knowing that people come from near and far And seeing how they treat people is a rarity in this world I cannot say enough good about this place you have my 10 stars if that was available they ll only let me give you five, but you re worth way more than that. Thank you for all you do.

Jackson's is the best local garage - great people, fast and reliable work. My husband and I always bring our vehicles here to be serviced because they are able to get us in on a short notice and are very up front about things such as cost or timeframe which gives us peace of mind. We will continue to send people to Jackson's!

I have been taking my cars to Jackson's since I could drive. It was my granfathers place. I grew up in that place and the new owner Joe, I have known since I was knee high to grasshopper. I have and never will take my car anywhere else. Always a fair price and great quality work.

I ve lived in the area for over 2 years now and there s no other garage I trust more with my vehicles. I ve never had a bad experience and have always felt they were honest and up front about everything. Definitely recommend Jackson s to anyone who is looking to get quality work done to their vehicle and not feel ripped off.

Giant 5 star review for Jackson's. My daughter is a student at UMaine, 4 hours from home. She said her car had a steering issue. Jackson's diagnosed the problem as a simple road gunk and rust issue, cleared the blockages, and said she could pick it up. No charge!! Jackson's was friendly and honest. If your child is far from home with an automobile issue, call Jackson's.

said I needed a new part when it had just left the shop everything being fixed and inspectable hadn t even drove it more than 20 minutes, so I went somewhere else. Nothing was wrong with my vehicle, and they aligned it with no problem. Also, they always say it will be done at a specific time and it turns into a week later than that whenever they say something needs to be fixed it turns into about 10 other items that need to be fixed. I would just get a second opinion if I was going to continue using them.

I ve been bringing my vehicles to Jackson s ever since I moved to Old Town and they the most honest shop around that is fast and transparent. I ve never had a vehicle there for more than the day and everything was treated with care. I highly recommend them for great work!

My parents have been Jackson s customers for a long time, so when I got my own car, naturally I went there. Now as an adult, with my own family, we still use Jackson s! I have always received great customer service and fair pricing!

I am so grateful for Jackson s Automotive, they have been nothing but honest, clean, friendly and accommodating. I have used quite a few different garages in the Ild Town area and Jackson s is my choice. As a woman I don t feel they take advantage of my lack of knowledge. They are always so busy but they truly make time and respect your time. Do yourself a favor and deal with Jackson s!

Why I give Jackson's a five star rating - I don't understand cars, I don't know the vocabulary around cars. I want to get in the car and it to take me where I want to go. I want to feel safe in the car. So when it makes a 'funny sound' I get nervous, I can take it to Jackson's and try to explain what I'm hearing or what the car is doing they have ALWAYS treated me with respect and not made me feel stupid for not knowing the right terms. They explain things in terms that I can understand. Sadly that doesn't always happen, but it happens there. To have a place that I can go, without having someone else with me to make sure I'm getting the service I need (that can speak the language, and make sure I'm not getting extra repairs) is worth it's weight in gold.

These guys are the best! They knew how much I loved my old truck and when a lifter went they went above and beyond to get my girl back on the road and haven't had a problem with it. Great mechanics and great tools to find the problem

I researched mechanics for my daughter when she went to UMO for grad school. There were many positive reviews for Jackson s, and my daughter s experiences with them were great. If she still lived there, she would still be using their services.

I brought my car in because it had a minor oil leak. I had called the week before to see if they had time available, and they told me sure thing, bring it in at 8am the next Monday, so I did. I called around noon because I still hadn't heard anything and they assured me they were getting to it. A few hours later I had to pick it up, having had no work done and frustrated because I had not only wasted my work day just to get absolutely nothing done, but also had to spend money on Ubers getting back and forth. I was enraged to find that my car had been left on the side of the road almost a block away, not at all within sight of the shop, with the KEYS IN THE IGNITION. I realize we are in Maine where people are trusting that crime is a little lower, but this is an incredibly rude thing to do to a customer as you're inviting any old Joe walking by to just up and steal my car. I understand shops get busy, but if you don't actually have time available to work on a car on a given day, you should be upfront about that instead of telling people what you think they want to hear.

the folks at Jackson's do good work. They take care of my prius, chevy, buick and mini. They are busy folks and this is because they do good work. Sometimes you have to wait but that is how it goes. Nothing is cheap these days! Don't expect your mechanics to be cheap. Anyway - good people and I've been going for years and will continue to do so.

So everytime I have brought my vehicle there, it seems that they just try to get as much money out of you as possible. I was quoted 250$ for labor because I had all the parts when I dropped my truck off. Then I get a call saying it s going to be almost 400$ cause of some bolts and extra time. Which yanno kind of weird but okay just donit . Then when I get there and go to pay for it, I get charged almost 700$ dollars. Tried to charge me for a part I had given them to use. Tried to charge me for adding coolant even tho that was not ran by me. Jackson s is by far the biggest scam in old town garage and mechanic scene. Do yourself a favor and call mikes and skips. Both within a half mile from Jackson s. I promise you you will not regret it.

Single handily the WORST experience I have ever had, no communication, my vehicle sat by the side of the road exposed to rodents, pedestrians and the elements as it got really cold. They removed every bolt and nut, and refused to finish the job they started. I got it towed elsewhere and then I found out they tampered with a piece to my engine that would cause my engine to fail, my vehicle was missing parts like my bumper, headlights things that weren t damaged that I had to have my insurance replace, they lied to me about parts that were intended to be picked up at the wheel house in Detroit saying they were waiting on delivery of parts for weeeks when they were being picked up. They spoke to me so disrespectfully to the point I was scared inside their shop as one of there car guys jumped up from his seat yelling at me because I was concerned with the time frames they were saying it would be done and 6 weeks into it nothing had been even stated. As a single mom they treated me as if I was stupid and held onto my car. This is not a reputable business every shop I called spoke on how unorthodox and unprofessional they were to tare down my vehicle and not finish it because of insurance rates. I would never ever go here again and I feel they should be out of business
