Bill knew immediately what was wrong with my vehicle and got me in asap. Fixed quickly & correctly, paid over the phone, & picked it up at my leisure.

Today Bill saved us from a disastrous weekend. We were coming from Massachusetts to go to our granddaughter s softball ball tournament on Saturday and were staying in Old Orchard Beach. About 10 miles before we got into OOB we heard a grinding sound and we knew we were having break issues. Around 2:00 in the afternoon we went to Bill s Automotive to see if he could fix the breaks. He was working alone and very busy but he worked past his closing time to put brake pads and rotors on the back brakes and called us at 6:00 to say the car was ready. Bill's son Joe does a fabulous job finding good used car that aren't rusty and are in very good condition, but he isn't very good at fixing things that need to be fixed on some of the vehicles and did not stand behind what he said he would take care of for me and my wife. He also charges top dollar for the used vehicle he sells. I would have been happy if he negotiated a little bit on the price but he did not. So think hard if you can get a cheap used car and have to put a little money into it it might not be a bad and bad.I wish you all the best in your car shopping!

While on vacation, one of my tires became very low so not knowing which gas stations around the area had air compressors, I went down to Bill s Automotive. The two nice gentlemen filled/checked all my tires for me and got me on my way! I highly recommend them!Service: TiresService: Tires

My vehicle broke down while I was visiting from Massachusetts. I was low on time, as my family was due to go home the next day. Bill was really empathetic, found the problem, and had the car fixed by the next morning.

I had a fantastic experience visiting Bill's! I called day-of to ask if he would have time to put a car up on the lift that I was thinking of buying from a private seller, and Bill was able to make time for me as well as gave me an appraisal at no charge. Bill and Donny gave me a very thorough explanation of the shape the car was in, allowing me to stand underneath it with them and see what they were talking about. Bill spent a good half hour or more with me and my friend, took the car out on a drive with us in addition to taking a look at the underside, and explained exactly what the car was worth considering the repairs it needed, and how much the repairs would be likely to cost. He and Donny were both very kind and professional, willing to answer all my many questions, and so generous with their time and his knowledge. I would highly recommend them!!

My husband and I have been taking our vehicles to Bill's Automotive for close to 10 years now. He came recommended to us by a neighbor when we first moved to the area and we've been going there ever since. We really appreciate that Bill is an upfront and honest mechanic who values his customers. From a simple inspection to a complicated repair, we've always been satisfied Bill's attentiveness, explanation, and rates. I highly recommend Bill's Automotive! A+ service!

Now that we moved to Maine from another state Bill's Automotive is where I will go. I been to Bill's 3 other times and always a friendly ,fast and efficient service. When I had a flat tire I went to Bill's and he was very busy and told me to go somewhere else cause he could not fix my tire. I refused and told him that I will leave my car and he can fix it when time allows. He looked at me as though I was on drugs and laughing he said how about 4pm today. I said perfect. He is the best mechanic in OOB. I will not go anywhere else. Thank you Bill's Automotive. Thank you again

Drove up from Virginia, during the trip heard rattling and knocking sounds. Went to Bills automotive in the morning let them know what was going on was told to come back later, I honestly didn t think I would be helped, this little automotive shop is pretty busy. I came back at the end of the day and car was fixed within minutes. Great customer service, Bill and staff really know their stuff, very professional, Highly recommend!Service: Wheel alignment

My boyfriend and I had just started on our way back to MA from OOB when our low tire pressure light came on. We stopped at a 7/11 to quickly put air in our tires and one of the tires valves popped off in the process and the whole tire went flat. We had a spare but no jack. We called a couple of other auto places around and no one could bring a jack to us. We called Bill and he said he would be down in 3 mins. He came down with all the tools and had our spare tire on within 5 mins for a very responsible price. A super nice guy! We come up to Old Orchard Beach all the time, and I know where I ll be bringing my car if it ever has an issue again while we re up here.

We had been traveling across the United States for a few weeks and spent three nights in Old Orchard Beach. We checked out of our motel and planned to hit the highway but our 2005 Buick Rainier wouldn't start. We ended up having it towed to Bill's Automotive. Bill was extremely busy that morning but stopped what he was doing to help us. He methodically checked everything possible but couldn't find what was preventing the vehicle from starting. Finally he unloaded all of our luggage and belongings from the folded down back seat and checked the fuse box under that seat. He replaced one of those fuses and it started right up. There was a glitch in the security system. Bill showed us where the fuse was and gave us two extra fuses so we could fix it by ourselves if it ever happened again. He charged us $25.00 for all his work, helped us reload all our belongings and we were on our way. We were so fortunate to run across a fair, honest, kind man when we were stranded. Thank you Bill for all your help.

This man Bill does terrible work. He worked on my car and then days later lots of other things started breaking down on my vehicle. Not only did he over charge me he sabotaged my vehicle. if i could give zero stars i would. Ive already contacted the better buisness bureau. STAY FAR AWAY FROM THIS SHOP IF YOU CARE FOR YOU VEHICLE AND MONEY!!

This is the only place I've taken my car for repairs since I moved up this way. Bill and his crew always do great work. I recommend them to everyone I know.

Liars!! I called to make an appointment for an inspection. They told me that the do them Thursdays at 8 am. I asked if I needed to put my name down/make an appointment... they said no, I then said ok great I will be there this Thursday at 8 am. I show up at 8 and there is no one there. I wait until 8:15 and still no one. VERY unprofessional! They just lost alot of business. If I could give them 0 stars I would

BILLS AUTO DID A GREAT JOB FOR ME MY HEAT WASENT WORKING THEY FOUND THE PROBLEM FIX NO PROBLEMS SINCE I WILL DEFINITELY GO BACK AND WOULD RECOMMEND HIM TO ANYONE AND HE VARY NICE GUY

Go to this guy if you don't mind being his verbal punching bag. He was stressed out and took it out on customers. I went to get my car fixed and left feeling like I went 12 rounds with the guy.
