This was my first time here and I enjoyed the scenery. The parking lot and the road in were a bit bedraggled after a historic storm the day before had thrown seawater and debris everywhere. We spent some time watching loons diving in the river, with a Cooper's hawk flying around. Then we walked over to the ocean side Marginal Way walk to look for seabirds. Lots of scoters (black, white and surf), harlequin ducks, more loons, great cormorants, red-breasted mergansers, great black backed gulls, and more. The wind was strong and cold but as we made the turn to the north we found shelter. The benches along the walk are nicely done and offered comfortable seating in the sunshine to enjoy stunning scenery. I'd happily go back here!

Easy to park off season. Opens for season in April. Love this area and if you can get a spot here it s very convenient to shopping and eating.

The parking is comparable to other parking within the town (5 bucks an hr) . Spaces can accomdate Chevy suburbans to motorcycles. The only bad part is that spaces are generally gone by 1045am so the parking sharks next to third parking spot charge up to 30 dollars per visit. The summer trolley stops here so is a good alternative to driving here in general.

Get here early so you get a parking spot.A bit pricey for parking , but not many options.Parking attendant worked with us, allowing us to add a 4th hour to the 3 hours purchased so we would not expire while out on the boat.

Beautiful spot to park and walk the Marginal Way. Space is limited and running out as the good weather gets here. Big lot across from Barnacle Bill's, next to Antiques store was charging $10. Big lot up by Cove Cafe might still be free. Or try walking from the other end of Marginal Way.

Parking spaces are a decent size for large SUV's. A high traffic area and the spots filled up quickly due to the attractions in the area. Over all a good location.

Parking is very convenient to pier and shops.Parking fee is via an app that is used through out the town. Once you download it s easy to pay.

Limited spots even going on a regular bad weather Monday afternoon, image if it's on the weekends. $5/hour minimum required, up to 3 hours parking only.

Avoid parking at Perkins Cove whenever possible. There isn't much of it and it is very expensive. There are alternatives and they are wallet friendly and aggravation free options. Take the trolley. Take the bus, which is even cheaper. So, there are four of you. The bus will cost each of you $2, a buck each way. Have the buck. They don't make change. But for four, the total is $8. Not $25. You don't have to drive around in circles dodging the crowd wandering around in the middle of the street. No trying to find a parking space some faster, angrier, driver just stole from you as you started to turn in with your blinker on. Spend the money on another drinker, or the super-sized lobster roll. Much better investment!

The parking was pretty packed even in October, however, we were still able to get a parking spot fairly quickly. Upon arrival, we were looking for a rest room to use after the long drive and the attendant was super helpful with providing walking directions. The credit card machine for parking g payments was acting up, but again, the attendant was helpful in resolving the issue. We loved having a front row seat and we look forward to coming back again soon.

A great spot to walk the marginal way and spend some time strolling in the shops. It costs $4 per hour to park, but plenty to do nearby. We went in the morning (around 930) and early evening (630) and we're able to find parking both times. When staffed, the attendant was friendly and helpful.

It's great to have an available parking lot, but you have to pray for a miracle to get a parking spot during prime time as the area is very small and spots are saved for lobster fisherman.$3 per hr with a 3hr max.

Weather perfect, parking great! We wanted to take our dog for a walk and love the marginal way, parking was busy because of the beautiful day in January.

Packed, but cars are rotating. Nearby ladies are charging $20, and $25. This lot is $3/hr 3 hour limit. Which is checked. They have a guard ( 3 on a Monday afternoon, when we went) on duty
