Greeted by friendly front desk person (Dre). Checked in quickly and prior request for 1st floor room was accommodated. Room was spacious and very clean. Bed and pillows were extra comfortable. Also liked that they had a scan pay card in room to tip the housekeeping staff. I don t ever carry cash and this is an easy way to appreciate the hard workers behind the scenes. Great location just down the road from busy downtown Ogunquit. Will definitely stay here again..

Great location and close to many great restaurants. Upon arrival, my wife and I checked into a room and started to get our stuff settled. Within an hour we started to smell some marijuana coming from the next room over. Typically we wouldn't care but because she is pregnant.. we didn't want her to be inhaling that odor. I went to the front desk and the young girl there was super friendly and understood the situation. Before I even finished telling her the issue.. she was getting me some room cards for a different room. I thanked her and went about the day. Honestly, just for that act of kindness, my wife and I will definitely be back. Highly recommend.

It's fine. Difficult to find staff, no mention of any breakfast or anything besides room number and free wifi at check-in. No information posted or available via pamphlet in the rooms. Very self-service and minimal amenities if they even exist, not sure how one would find out, maybe calling their phone number since office isn't staffed often? But the room was clean, no issues with noise, generally property in good condition. There's a very old graveyard they ask you to use for a pet "relief" area out back....which creeped me out so obviously I didn't. They store random things they don't use anymore amongst the graves. Yikes. Hotel served it's purpose for 2 nights.

The guy working the counter in the evening was SUPER nice, very welcoming. When we got to the room, the room wasn't exactly the cleanest. There was cleaner residue on the coffee table and bathroom counters, carpet looked like it hadn't been done, and the room didn't have a microwave. Then, our TV wouldn't work with the remote they provided (there's smart TVs but they won't let you use the smart features). Overall, I wasn't really impressed or happy considering I paid 260$ for 3 nights.

We stayed in Ogunquit for Kennebunkport Christmas Prelude. This is a really big 12 day event in the area that actually overlaps Christmas by the Sea in Ogunquit. This hotel did not have housekeeping. We had to get towels from the front desk each day, but we didn't need them the last day of our stay because there was NO HOT WATER FOR SHOWERS. The front desk clerk said that they would let maintenance know. I asked for a discount on the room for the inconvenience but they said they couldn't do that. So we had to drive 300 miles home with no showers. We were told the section we were staying in was renovated. There's no towel bars in the bathroom. Big bathroom, lots of empty wall areas for a few towel bars but nowhere to hang a towel. The refrigerator is smaller than a dorm refrigerator, there's room in the freezer for one freezer pack and nothing else. No microwave in the room. No dinette to sit down and eat. Terrible musty/chemical smell in the corridor. The walls are so thin we could hear conversations in the adjoining room. Pillows are terrible, cylindrical.Walkability: Walking distance to beach.

The check-in staff were friendly and the room looked OK but it went downhill from there. The bed and pillows were uncomfortable. I didn't sleep a wink. There were cobwebs hanging above the bed. The carpet was stained. The curtains didn't close all the way, letting in light at night. The A/C didn't work and kept the room stuffy. The TV volume didn't work. The tile in the bathroom was coming off. Overall, it felt like a really cheap, neglected hotel.

When checking in the Guest Service girl was very rude and snarky. Shower curtain looked like it had never been changed, had mold on it as well as a part of the tub along with pubic hair inside tub. Carpet was sticky and wet - we wore shoes the entire time when moving around the room. Why didn't we move??? Good Question - but we had already paid over 800$ for three nights and knew we wouldn't get our money back. Looks good from outside but not inside the rooms. BEWARE! Check rooms before staying.Location was the only thing good about this place.

The whole area is way overpriced for what you actually get. WiFi didn t always work. No breakfast. It was decently clean. The room is very large. There were lots of people and dogs and it was pretty quiet. Didn t like people smoking outside their rooms. Staff was very nice. Beds were pretty comfy.

I would recommend staying here. Rooms are decent size. We had a balcony suite with king bed. Room was clean, tub/shower was a decent size. Bathroom was big. Overall a good experience. We ll be back.Rooms: Clean, good size, friendly staff. We tried to take advantage of early check in but like most places, staffing was an option and they were doing their best. Totally understandable.Nearby activities: Tons of things to do in the area.

Nice place to stay. There are normal rooms, as well as suites, which are much nicer. Has a nice pool. Only issues are that it's pretty far from downtown and the beach if you plan on walking anywhere.

Room was clean, but had a strong, weird smell when we opened the door. It probably wasn't used for a while. We had to leave the windows open for about an hour for the smell to go away. Night shift staff was good, morning guy had a bit of an attitude, kept a disingenuous smile on his face. Overall not great for the price they charge, no wonder it still had rooms when others were full.

The room and bathroom were large. The beds were comfortable. There was good water pressure in the shower and instant hot water. Although the air conditioning unit worked, it should be upgraded to better handle the size of the room. The pool is lovely and huge. The hot tub was large too with great jets. Our stay would have been great, however, the overly chlorinated water ruined my new LL Bean bathing suit, by bleaching out the navy blue color. This is unacceptable and upsetting. Be aware of this before using these facilities. Otherwise, we would recommend this motel to others.Nearby activities: There are a good number of restaurants and some cute shops fairly nearby. Beaches are not too far away.

Wow, stayed there many times before. This last visit was not so pleasant. New invested group has taken over the property. Reserved a special room that we have had in the past. Upon checking in they had us in a room facing the street which at night you hear all the traffic wizzing by. The night girl said there was nothing they can do the room I reserved was already taken and then to talk to the manager the next day. Upon check out talked with the manager and he said there was nothing he could do about the reservation. He said next time talk with me and I ll make sure you get the one you want. No that s not good enough for us, they discontinued the breakfast, and he offered no future discounts. I told him that he won t see us anymore.

This place is perfect. A beautiful, clean room with plenty of space and a comfortable bed. We were given a list of restaurants by the front desk, every one we visited was great. Location is fantastic, just a mile from the beach and downtown. Great price too in my opinion. No need to look for another place for our next visit to ogunquit :)

Booked a last-minute overnight here with a pet-friendly room for our dog. Staff was so friendly and helpful, great location, SUPER comfortable beds which I always appreciate. Even a kitchenette with a cooktop! We weren t sure what to expect from the pet-friendly block of rooms, but aside from a cleaned-up carpet stain on our floor, the interior was exceptionally clean and well-prepared. Pool area is as beautiful as the photos. Definitely recommend and would stay again!

If you enjoy sleeping on airplanes, you may luck out and get an AC unit that sounds like you are cruising at 35,000 feet above sea level. I had to look up fundamental frequency from physics class back in the day because I could feel the noise reverberating through my bones. The view could have been better due to the lack of natural light. We felt a bit like Jesse Pinkman trying to evade a bad fate. The bathroom light was great at least so the ladies could get ready before dinner. All in all it was a fine hotel with good proximity to downtown. Our room just had some entertaining quirks that gave us some good laughs.

Just average. No "Wow!" factor, if that's what you're looking for. The typical over-priced accommodation in the typical Maine seaside town. I grew up there and return often on day trips, so I am familiar with the area. Check-in was fast, but matter-of-fact, with a quickly mumbled script. The main entrance door to the 'suites' does not lock, so anyone can walk into that area. The 'kitchenette' is a mini-frig and a coffee pot. There is no decaf anywhere on the property. Plenty of hot water and enough to burn ya, so be careful. One tiny bottle each of private label shampoo and conditioner await you upon arrival. That's it. Lots of noise from the road all day and all night in the 'suites'. The walls and floors are pretty thin, so expect some noise from typically oblivious fellow guests who think they are alone on the property. If you don't expect a lot these days of a 'hotel' (this place is a actually a motel) for $200 a night, then you probably won't care. This was our first stay here. We will not be returning to this property.

Disappointing 3-star HotelAfter hearing rave reviews, I made the decision to stay at this establishment for three nights. However, I must admit that my experience did not align with the hotel's purported three-star rating. I booked a pet-friendly suite located towards the back of the property. Unfortunately, the rooms in that particular wing were situated in close proximity to an unsightly area featuring a dumpster, a broken sofa, and various trash items. This was not a pleasant sight to behold.Upon entering the suite, I immediately noticed that the floor was wet and sticky, giving the impression that it had been cleaned but not adequately dried. The beds were average in terms of comfort and appeared outdated. Additionally, the bathroom door failed to lock properly, and the TV was oddly tilted, causing some inconvenience. Speaking of the bathroom, it was quite small, and the overall decor and fixtures showed signs of aging.Another notable drawback was the absence of room service. Although the hotel did offer complimentary coffee, it lacked any other condiments or amenities to enhance the experience. Considering the substantial amount of money I paid for my stay, I cannot help but feel that it was an exorbitant price for what was provided. In conclusion, despite the positive reviews that initially attracted me to this establishment, my personal experience left much to be desired. The presence of unsightly surroundings, combined with the wet and sticky floor, dated beds, malfunctioning bathroom door, and tilted TV, made it evident that this hotel did not live up to its claimed three-star status. The lack of room service and minimal amenities further compounded my disappointment. Given the substantial cost I incurred, I cannot help but feel that I was overcharged for the quality of accommodation received.
