Got stuck with bad brakes in Newport 120 miles from home in a snowstorm. They got me right in, diagnosed, found the hose, and repaired .... in less than an hour and very decent price. Fabulous!!!

I bought a car from these guys shoulda known when engine light came on not even a week later and they told me not to worry about it!! Then took it for front struts the tech who did the work did a horrible job, sounded worse than when I took it in! Constant problems with the vehicle so took it to another mechanic and they couldn t believe how bad the struts were installed!! Muffler King charged me 550$ for 2 front struts and a 4 wheel alignment and what a waste of time and money!! I wouldn t take my kids skateboard here for repairs!! I m so disgusted what they did that I had another mechanic fix my struts for me!! Got a flat tire on the highway on our way out of state. Put on the spare and called Muffler King. They got us right in and helped us get it fixed in a jiffy. Very grateful.

Great place for tires winter tires summer Tires all terrain tires any tires they have them or they can order them have them put snow tires on my car only took them 55 minutes thank you very much great job guys

I have been doing business with the King Boys and their crew since 2017 and they have always been accommodating and up front about the cost of my repairs and finished them in a timely manner. These guys still put the "Serve" in "Service" which is nonexistent in today's crazy world. Keep up the quality work Muffler King!!.

This has been my new goto since I've been in this area. They get you in and out for most minor issues. They keep you well informed on what they have found in the process of state inspections. The waiting room can be a bit cramped, So if it's going to be awhile, arrange a ride. They're mechanics that are dirty, Cause they are putting in the work you deserve. So don't expect a super clean environment!!

Muffler king has saved my butt many times. I have a small business and my truck has had many different problems and they have always gotten me in that day to fix it. Cannot beat their rates either

Stopped here on our way back from vacation to get our minivan looked at after hearing a horrible grinding noise and then having pieces fly off on the highway nearby. I couldn't tell what we'd lost, and wasn't comfortable continuing (especially with my family in the car) without getting it looked at.These guys clearly have plenty of business, but they squeezed us in within 30 minutes, and were able to determine that we'd only lost some plastic undercarriage panels and it was still safe to drive. I would have been happy to pay for checking it over, but they waved off charging anything.Grateful for shops like this!

Had to patch a tire at a moment's notice, I called and they told me to bring it right in. Spent maybe ten minutes there, only $12. Very happy with the speed and quality of the repair.

With the storm coming tomorrow I thought I'd never get in to put on my snow tires. When I called them at their opening time they told me come now!!! So happy!! They did a great job, and I also decided to do an oil change. Great place to have work on your vehicle. I talked to several other customers while I was there, and the were all happy with the service they get there.

I was coming down I-95 when my splash shield came completely lose, I was lucky enough to get off the highway and find this place, pulled in their parking lot spoke to the owner and explained what happened, he told me they would take care of it shortly, well literally 5 minutes later my car was on the lift and one of their technicians found a few screws completely missing so he installed some new ones and I was able to continue with my journey back to Florida safe and sound, not only were they nice and courteous they were very reasonably priced, a 5 Star treatment for sureService: Steering & suspension repair

Took care of me as a walk in. I had broken a belt in my tire so it was not safe to drive on. They sold me a used tire at an extremely reasonable rate! Friendly crew, good prices. Would absolutely recommend!Service: TiresService: Tires

Brought in a loose wheel off my wife's car to be fixed, she had picked up a small screw in a repairable area of the tire. Said they could fix it no problem and I told them I would be back to pick it up shortly. When I arrived to pick the tire up I noticed that they had put a rope plug in the tire instead of a plug patch. When I asked them why it was rope plugged instead of plug patched they stated that they don't use plug patches unless requested by the customer. So now per the state of Maine inspection requirements, the tire is no longer inspectable because rope plugs are cause for rejection in the state of maine. If I had wanted to put a rope plug in it I could've have fixed it myself. Not impressed with this lazy repair.Service: Tires

Never had a problem here, I'm not exactly mechanically inclined so this is where I take my business fair prices and good people, locally owned. Sometimes my car comes back with a dirty interior but what do you expect it's a mechanic shop it's a messy line of work. I recommend.

First step.. Ask for Darryl. His friendliness and proffesionalism set him apart from the others. He takes the time to have an honest discussion about your needs regardless of how busy he is. I can tell you that the boys here do honest, quality work. They do it right the 1st time and the prices cannot be beat. I love that they are honest, if a service is not required.. They tell you that you dont need it. If you do need a repair, they help find you the cheapest option. I trust them. Muffler King has always done right by me. I have my personal vehicles serviced & repaired there as well as my cabs. If I have an emergency they always go out of their way to accommodate me and to keep my "working" vehicles (cabs) on the road with as little down time as possible.I have been doing business with them for over 15 years & anytime I may have had to go anywhere else for a repair was quickly reminded why I have my work done at Muffler King.5 stars for Rob and crew.

Let me tell you how this place does business. We bought a 1939 chevy from Canada driving it home to Chicago. It had a bad vibration and they got us right in and fixed the problem and on our way we went. Couldnt have been a better bunch of guys. Good people. Many thanks.

I have NEVER had a problem with the Kings...For over 20yrs. of my business with them, every repair & diagnosis, has been spot-on 100%. They are Transportation Doctors ...They keep me traveling for my Photography...
