Had a great experience at VIP on Lisbon St. Needed some new tires and they were able to recommend me some options. I like their tire insurance options and their price match policy, so I knew I was getting the best price. Easy to call and schedule an appointment. I go there for all my car needs.

Great prices, knowledgeable staff... Found a windshield mounted cell phone holder there for $9.99 that I'd recently paid $24.99 for on Amazon....Stores are always clean and well stocked and rates for labor are fair. Highly recommend!!!

I always have a great experience coming to this location. Shout out to Magnus who is not only knowledgeable but has amazing customer service skills. I also want to give credit to Steve C, who took me in and explained issues to me. Steve seems passionate about his work and was more than happy to explain everything that I asked about.

I went in for a free oil change, which was a wonderful offer. But while there, they told me I'd need both front and rear brakes replaced. I thought this was suspicious because I'd just had the rear brakes done the prior year. A second opinion confirmed that only one set of brakes actually needed attention (the other was in near new condition), and that mechanic mentioned this was not the first time he'd encountered people who were scared by VIP into paying for unnecessary repairs. Be very wary of recommended work here and always get a second opinion.

I only trust my tires from VIP! Plus the smaller maintence stuff like oil changes, bearings, and inspections. As a female it can be really intimidating walking into any car mechanic type of store but at the Lisbon St. VIP they have awesome women that 100% get it and always make you feel like you're welcome and won't get ripped off. I absolutely love Diamond! She works with me to understand pricing and what work needed to be done. She never talks down to me or makes me feel stupid. I appreciate her so much! Plus, my autistic kid loves going in to say hi and the staff is always receptive to his needs. I can't speak for all VIPs but Lisbon St. Is our place! Thanks for all you do to keep us safe and on the road!

To be honest, I called one ahead of time to get my car check cause im a new driver. The Lady Manager at the front desk was Very well respectful and even left notes of reminder to her workers about a situation that needed the be handle. Not only get tire change by VIP but they offered the community great services for they people. Friendly and very respectful people at this location that will help u with whatever u needed

I've been to a bunch of VIP stores, and this one is the best so far. They're pleasant to work with, and they'll bring you out to show you what was wrong and anything else that needs to be fixed rather than just telling you and hoping you'll believe them. I also like that if you buy tires from them, they'll service them under the lifetime warranty.

I had a check engine light on. I went in to get it diagnosed. I was offered the VIP Live Service interaction. I thought it was a wonderful experience. I was updated with texts to let me know the findings and recommendations. NO PHONE TAG! It was great. Excellent upgrade in service.

Whenever I need to take my car in for servicing, the fabulous team here does a great job, figuring out what s happening and what needs to be done. They let you know ahead of time how much it s going to be and discuss all the needed repairs. When you ve okayed the work order, they do the work quickly and professionally. these guys are awesome!

I was having difficulties with my back tire consistently losing pressure as well my jeep due for routine care. Dom went above and beyond to make sure that I felt and was taken care of. I have always been very pleased with the end results that I have received from this location of VIP tires. Technician Steven and front desk team were very knowledgeable and gave me peace of mind knowing that my car is ready to handle its first Maine winter! I just needed to get a couple of tires put on and Steven made sure to do a full inspection and make sure nothing had been missed. They aren t like other auto shops I ve been to where they try to hard sell extra services or convince you to get an oil change when it s not due. They even took the time to tell me about their loyalty program so I can start saving money on future oil changes. I ll definitely be coming here in the future!Service: Tires

I was in their parking lot trying to get my car running. Next thing I knew the cops showed up! Someone on the staff called the police and my car got towed. I think they thought I was a homeless person because I had all my stuff on the car. I ended up losing the car and all my tools because I couldn't afford the tow bill. AVOID THESE CROOKS! They do lousy work too. I've heard of several rip off jobs they have done.

The last place I brought my car messed up my breaks, but I didn't realize till it was too late and my rotors were completely shot. I brought my car into VIP and they managed to squeezed me in. They fixed and replaced the misaligned break pads and rotors. Dom walked me through all the issues, and was genuinely very helpful. Even saved me some money by reminding me of my AAA discount. I went in because I needed to get oil and an oil filter around 7:15pm. When I walked in the guy behind the register was talking with 2 females, I assumed they were customers, so I waited until he was done and went to see if I could find the self-help booklet where it tells you what you need. There wasn't a booklet, so I went up to ask for help in finding which filter I needed and he was still talking to the woman, so I posted spoke up saying I needed help so when he was done going them...they weren't customers, one was an employee and the other was just visiting? The guy assisted me, well, he went and got the filter and oil for me. Rang me up and remembered I needed a rear windshield wiper, so asked him about that. They only had one expensive one in stock but the guy offered to order me a cheaper one and they it would be at the store tomorrow. I politely declined and thanks him for his help. And went on my way. Had I been acknowledged upon entering the store and asked if I needed assistance before having to interrupt a conversation for it, If have given them 5 stars. But to me, it's these little things that make a BIG difference.

Brought my wife s car in for an inspection sticker. was informed that my wife s car would not pass inspection needed for new tires even though I replaced them the year prior it needed an alignment and the back shield wiper blade needed to be replaced. Dominique helped me out and quoted me on a good set of tires for my wife s vehicle and alignment and replacing the back shield wiper blade so she would pass inspection. He was very kind and understanding and knew what I could afford and help me out greatly. Highly recommended. Going to see him if you have any issues.Service: Vehicle safety inspection

I made an appointment to have my winter tires removed and summer tires installed. The customer service rep was pleasant and professional. I waited for the work to be done in their waiting area, which was modern, comfortable and well appointed. The mechanic was thorough and professional inviting me to personally come and see what he discovered during the comprehensive inspection. The service took longer than I had expected but I was given copies of their findings of concern when I checked out and the mechanic was available to answer any questions.Service: Tire rotations

Been here for 3 hrs just to get two tires changed on my truck they stopped the guy who was working on my truck and pulled him off just so he could change a belt on a customer who came in long after me without any appointments I m truly disappointed with the service here and will never go back

My husband James had an appointment for an oil change and tire rotation at 4PM and arrived 15 minutes earlier only to not have his truck taken in until almost 5:30PM and never notified of there being late. The maintenance was completed by 6PM, why have appointments when people are waiting and not comply? The quality of workmen ship is excellent but unsure about why appointments are made.Services: Tire rotations, Oil change

Went in for a routine oil change and some new shock absorbers. Service was as expected and I had no problems as I waited for the work to be done. However, when I got to my car afterwards in the parking lot, the back ends of the rocker panels on my Jeep were dented in 2-3 inches, pretty obviously the result of sloppy alignment of the hydraulic lift.This damage isn't catastrophic, but I was rather annoyed so I brought the manager out to show him and get an explanation. He noted the damage (which neither he nor the mechanic saw before the work was done, since it wasn't there), but categorically refused to believe that his mechanic could have caused the problem. I've had several calls with this manager and the district manager at this point, who offered to try and line up the lift to see if the damage on my car matches the lift arms. But each time I've had these conversations, they're quick to point out that even if it lines up, that doesn't mean that VIP caused the damage, leaving it as my word against theirs. I guess that means everyone needs to take pictures of their car before and after any service is done because otherwise no damage can ever be proven? Additionally, I don't live in the area, so going back and forth to this garage to sort this out isn't really an option for me, which I feel that these managers are using to take advantage of the situation.The bottom line is that this garage caused damage to my vehicle through the negligence or incompetence of their mechanic, and they refuse to own up to it, leaving me to foot the bill for the resulting repair. I won't be returning to this VIP, and I strongly recommend taking your business to a different garage who have the competence not to make these mistakes, and the integrity to own up to them when they do.
