I have bought 6 machines from central maine power sports each time i dealt with Dave who s been great they make everything simple and easy . They also got me money back on a warranty I had bought a year previous on a machine I no longer have. I have bought from other dealers in the area and regretted it.

This place is horrible. My brother got a motorcycle from them. And Bailey used it brought it to them this year thinking because he got it there. They would do whatever it needs for a sticker Well, let's just say they took a $400 deposit and then they cleaned the carburetors and told him that for the tire and the battery it would be $1600 altogether. With the carburetors being cleaned he told them he was all set. He'll come and grab the bike. They still ended up charging him the $400 deposit plus an extra $100 just for the carbs, to be cleaned. That's all what they did that's a rip-off. Even one of the workers said that was a rip off. As well not to mention how rude the guy was to my brother on the phone. He told him we have plenty of things to work on. We don't need your business! What kind of customer service says that to a customer?

I went in with buddy to just browse and ended up picking out a Polaris Sportsman 850 in Chalk gloss! Max was very helpful and answered all my questions. Everyone here was very friendly and the process was smooth as butter. Rick was a pleasure to work with as well. I felt very welcomed and valued. I highly recommend checking this place out for anyone looking for future purchases, Lots of cool toys for everyone!

They were great to dal with answered all my questions about the 2023 Polaris Ranger Crew XP 1000 NorthStar Edition Ultimate - Ride Command Package that I was looking at. Financing was easy and they got the best rate.They have called a contacted me a couple of times to make sure I was happy with my purchase.Would definitely recommend to a friend

I have read many reviews of people making claims of great service. Unfortunately, I did not have the same experience. My husband and I recently purchased two Honda enduro motorcycles. It was a cash deal so there was very little paperwork, which they had ready. On the contract the only thing CMPS had written as there provision was "really great service". Ours, was the cash payment, of course.It was a cold January day, and service techs rode the bikes out to our trailer. The smaller of the two bikes, a 150cc killed the second they let go of the throttle and when they tried to restart the battery was dead. They attributed it to winter and clients in store leaving keys on, etc. "No worries" they said just put it on a charger. and so we left.Battery charged several times but every time my husband tried to fire up the bike he'd get a couple of short cranks and the battery would be drained. He then took it to automotive store to check it out and charge it yet, again and their opinion was it likely had a dead cell. When salesperson called to check with us to see if things were good and we were satisfied with purchase I relayed all of this information. I said I would feel better if they would swap the battery out and they agreed "no problem".Due to weather I did not come on the day I stated, but my husband took the battery down 2 days later. He did NOT receive a friendly, "no problem" response. They did take the battery back into the shop and told him nothing. It was busy so he spent time looking around the shop and after quite a bit of time asked what was going on, he was waiting for a battery exchange. They told him they did not DO THAT and were charging the one he brought in! DUH! Like we hadn't already done that a dozen times but the battery would not hold a charge for more than a few seconds. My husband was justifiably upset. Then the rude treatment started. He came home so angry and crushed. He researched their store and purposely drove 70 extra miles to purchase there. A Viet Nam era army vet and 20 yr. police veteran---paid cash, was treated badly and we still had a bike that we had not even started, yet. After many discussions about wanting to return the bike, we went to another store and bought a new battery.NOW, the bike starts. NO THANKS to CMPS! Was it asking too much to have a new bike with a good battery? Should they have replaced it? I believe "yes" on both counts. Our money was good - their service was crap! We will NEVER return there. Will they care? Probably not. They never did in the first place.

Central Maine Power Sports in Lewiston, Maine has excellent sales and service. They make you feel comfortable and work with you without any pressure to get what you want. I recently purchased this 2021 Honda Goldwing and I am very pleased with it.

Ended up checking their stock after another local Polaris dealer dropped the ball on communications. I m glad they did though because Central Maine Powersports was a much better buying experience. So much so, that we ended up going back two weeks later to pick up another ATV for my wife. If you re in the market for an off-road vehicle, save yourself the time and headache and just go direct to these guys. Ask for Dave, our sales person, he was very cordial and if there was something he didn t know right away, he made the effort to figure it out. Great business and even better staff.

Hands down the best buying experience we have ever had anywhere. This was our first big ATV purchase and everyone we interacted with was friendly and courteous. They made the experience a whole lot less daunting. Our Sales Rep, Dave, was attentive to our needs and even talked us out of a more expensive machine because it did not suite our needs. Jared was both patient and efficient in getting the numbers together even though we ended up changing our purchase twice. Richard, the sales manager made the paperwork shuffle fun and enjoyable. The "customer loop," which is where you get to meet the people behind the parts and service departments, was an unexpected and pleasant surprise. Bob from the parts was excellent while helping us fit for the right helmets. Thank you all for the amazing experience! We will definitely be back!

I had an overall positive experience with my purchase, the faculty/staff were all very helpful and were genuinely pleasant to work with. My gripe is not necessarily the dealership but their website.I work offshore and had been browsing the inventories across many dealerships throughout NE during my off-time. I could not call and relied on email for communication. I found a sled the really stuck out to me and clicked the "Request Quote" button on the page for that exactly snowmobile on the showroom floor and left a comment saying I work offshore and can't receive phone calls so email is the best way to contact me. (The photo attached is the snowmobile now in my garage.)However, the person who wrote back to me had no idea as to which vehicle I wanted and started asking me about what features I wanted and started talking about what was in the warehouse blah blah blah as if they did not receive the information from my quote request about the snowmobile on the showroom floor and that my comment was not read prior to reaching out to me. This lead to days being wasted on figuring out what was available and then eventually we circled back around to the snowmobile that I was requesting a quote on from the beginning.Thankfully no one else wanted that snowmobile during that time or else I would have lost out on it because of that lack of original data communication.I would say the functionality of the website as far as quote requesting and things of that nature could be improved on. Judging by how things went, it seems it was the website's fault and the people were just doing the best they could so I give 5 stars for the people and 3 stars for the website. 4 star average between the two. I still would recommend CMP.

Absolutely top notch. Got a T7 after depositing and some expected wait but the wait was not understated and bike actually arrived earlier than projected. Price was absolute steal - I know because I probably called 50-60 dealers all over east coast to find this bike. Instead of marking up a hard to get product they actually discounted it. Service was also excellent. I can't say enough.

If you want the best experience buying side by side, at, or motorcycle you better go see Dean in sales to pick out what you want, then they will take you around to meet everyone in all the different departments, and then send you over to see Big Rich in financing to complete your purchase! Excellent team to work with, and I will be sure to go back for any of my future needs! Dont settle for second best.....Go to Central Maine Powersports!!

Awesome to work with! I was able to get my four wheeler honestly earlier then expected with the wait I had due to Covid and all the orders they had to deal with! Great staff! They are all working very hard with everyone s order! Great job guys

Corwin was great. He did great adjusting to my changing needs, and then was good in getting back to me in a reasonable amount of time to see if I had made my decision on the bike. 1 request was not followed up on properly. A squeek in the brakes, but other than that things went great. The closing process was very efficient. Thanks

First off I liked the place. Sales people were knowledgeable, polite, respectful. I really wanted to buy a motorcycle from them and I tried repeatedly. Have to say it was the most bizarre experience I've ever had trying to buy a motorcycle. They could not sell the bike to me because of a recall. They insisted on a $250 non-refundable deposit. I bought a lot of motorcycles and nobody ever asked me for that before. I said no and offered to pay cash for it and they said they could not do that. I went back a second time they told me they had sold the motorcycle I wanted but had two left. Once again they wanted a $250 non-refundable deposit and I said no and offered cash. The third time I went back they told me they sold the second motorcycle I was interested in. The financial guy that I spoke with said he would run my credit report and have everything ready to go when the bike was ready. He did not ask me for a deposit. I just got off phone with another salesman from there who told me the third bike I wanted was sold and there was one left. Oh I forgot to mention I was driving up from Mass to look at it each time. Needless to say I didn't buy a bike, three times. It was just the biggest waste of time and effort for nothing. Which is too bad I planned on buying this one to putt around on for a year and then a bigger one next year. Basically they lost out on two possible sales and the maintenance on two vehicles. Just by insisting that I give them a $250 non-refundable gift. Ridiculous

Good experience buying my dual sport bike. I had them reserve it and the buy process was great. I will be looking for a side by side and be looking to do business with them again.
