My experience of purchasing tires at Don Foshay s Discount Tire was very pleasant and trouble-free. The Foshay s are great people to do business with and the staff is awesome!! Great product! I highly recommend going to any of their locations.

I m not one to post reviews, but I just had an amazing service at Don Foshays. I went in with a slow leak on one tire and they not only got me in without an appointment, but they had me back in my car in less than an hour with the issue resolved. All staff were extremely nice and helpful and they have earned my business for any car work in the future!Thanks again Don Foshays team!

Very polite staff, knowledgeable, and willing to help. They were able to get my wheel sent out and repaired and back to me in roughly 4 days. I will definitely be going back and I highly recommend Don Foshays!

This is the first time using Don Fouchey's Discount Tire and I was very pleased with the service! Was a walk-in to install four new tires I bought and they got me in within a half an hour, did a great job, and was a good price compared to the surrounding options. When Kia service couldn t look at my car for over 6 weeks, Don Foshey fit me in and diagnosed and repaired a potentially dangerous situation. Go to Foshays whenever I need an alignment. Theyve always done me right. Made me aware of issues free of charge. I go home, fix the issues and return. Alignment gets done. Awesome. They do much more than alignments but thats what I go there for. Always been very friendly.

Don Foshay s Discount, Tire And Alignment was recommended to me by a friend when I had a slow leak in my front and tire that needed to to be fixed before I took a long trip up to Washington county.. Derek Anderson, the store manager, got my car in quickly, analyzed the problem was a leak in the sidewall of the tire, mounted the new tire on the rim and had me on my way in an hour.Service: Tires

My first choice always. Dad has been coming here for as long as I can remember, once they know we're related they always ask that I say hi to him (always do!). Friendly honest people, always great service. I never had to bring any of my vehicles back right after a service. Plus I can usually get in so quickly that I have to ask for something later than they're offering. Three hour wait still not seen after told it be a hour and half waiting time. Over 4 hours later finally got to leave. Feel as though I was forgot about. Out of the other people that I walked through doors at 730am I was only one left the others gone 2 hours before me Understand tire service is first come first serve but others before me got done quickly and there even others that came in that had appointments that still left way before I did. Left feeling as though the service I asked for was rushed and the concerns I had asked about not looked at.Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance

Called on a Saturday morning for a price on replacing a tire. Note: emergency!1. They did not have one in stock and said Wednesday afternoon would be soonest to get it, slight possibility of Tuesday.2. The price they quoted was well over $100 more than the highest quoted elsewhere.3. Sullivan Tire not only had my tire in stock but could mount it that day although I may have to wait a couple of hours. I was in and out within one hour.The representative did say they would "price match" if I would bring in quotes. Why not offer your best price up front? This is not good business practice.

Highly recommended. I ve been a customer of the Brunswick branch for years but moved closer to Augusta and the service is at the same high level at Hallowell branch. Erroneously I took vehicle to another car center in Augusta and they said nothing wrong with car. Don Foshay s staff test drove and found front brakes were fractured and described as ticking time bomb , showing me the brake pads. Was able to get everything fixed that afternoon and very grateful for thorough fix. A few days separated I was able to get all 4 tires replaced with ease. Barb and rest of staff are very nice and knowledgeable. Will not be going elsewhere. Also grateful for Alan K s referral! You won t need to go anywhere else for car service needs.Services: Tires, Brakes, Battery

Work was performed properly and was also completed a head of the scheduled time. This resulted in a slightly lower total cost which was greatly appreciated.Personnel were pleasant and knowledgeable and did everything they could to make this repair go smoothly.I would highly recommend Don Foshay's Discount Tire and Alignment in Hallowell, ME.Service: Auto exhaust system replacement

These folks were so kind, on top of that they were efficient, they gave me good advice, a good price for the tire I needed to replace, and ordered it in and had it on my truck in less than 12 hours!! They reassured me by checking my spare before I left for the night on it. Excellent service, a gem that will be my first call from now on. When I described the story to my daughter and told her where I had been she exclaimed she loves that place, she'd had experience at both the Brunswick and SoPo stores same great service and sound honest advice.

When I called Barbara at Don Foshay's Tire in Hallowell, I was in a pickle. I had checked my tires and discovered some of the steel-belting was exposed. I was not about to drive to Portland with that on my mind. I called, asked about tires, and within 30 minutes I was at the store, getting my new tires. I cannot explain how helpful, affordable, and genuinely thankful I am for their work. Free alignment, rotation, and flat fix is just the cherry on top. You may find cheaper tires elsewhere...but it won't be the same!Service: Tires

Never go here, under any circumstances.So the last time I went was in 2012 but that service was so bad I will never give them another shot. I had a tire go flat and I was very close, and they had put the tires on the car earlier in the season.They were able to fit me in, but the guy put it up on the lift and found multiple inspection items that needed to be addressed or they would need to pull my sticker that had been put on the week before. Mind you, this car was a ford, and the car had been inspected by a former Ford Master Technician who opened his own business.When I told the front desk guy who inspected it, he didn t believe me, nor did he care. Well, that was until I called my mechanic and he called the store manager on his personal cell, because they knew each well enough. Though the store manager insisted that the noted items needed to be fixed in order to not have the sticker pulled, when my mechanic volunteered to come by the store the manager acquiesced, had the tire replaced, and I was on my way.Had I not had such an amazing mechanic I likely would have been out over $1,000 for parts that didn t need to be changed out.Edit: Though I realize this is 10 years old, so they may not have records that far back, but they indicate they do have records. So on top of trying to screw customers over, they also apparently do not keep good records on who their customers are at each location. I am glad they took the time to verify they do a poor job keeping records for all possible customers, as this is not a fictitious review, this was a real and honest experience I had at the location.If people take the time to look I have almost 100 reviews of businesses throughout Maine and places where I have traveled and have answered hundreds of questions for others. I give real, honest reviews based on real experiences with companies. I write reviews periodically when I see a company I have done business with, good or bad, so that others know how they treated a customer. I also update previous reviews based on updated experiences with the same company. In this case I would note I bought tires from this location multiple times, had tires swapped dozens of times, with no issue. As they noted though, they do not keep good records as they do not show me as a customer at all, ever.

Have gone here for several years now, once my car was no longer under warranty. They offer affordable services and some corporate discounts... be sure to ask! Their customer service is excellent. They take the time to explain necessary repairs vs repairs of convenience, have availability for timely service appointments, and keep you informed without surprise expenses at the cash register.

My wife and I have been going to Don Foshay's for years. They always have and give exceptional service. I highly recommend them for any mechanical issue you may have. Even if it's just to fix a flat.
