I had an appointment for an oil change at 10am but did not get get cashed out until 11:17am. Seems a little long of a wait for a 15 minute service especially when I had an appointment. Also, advertising for the lowest price synthetic oil change is supposed to be $45, whereas my bill shows parts, labor and other of $70.39. This is misleading! VIP should include total price for all services so that customers will understand exactly what they will be paying for straightforward services (like oil changes) before they purchase. Please fix.

So I had a headlight in my Malibu go out and couldn't not do it myself based on the design of the vehicle. I called, VIP and was instantly booked at the time I wanted, and was serviced fast and put the door in no time.I also witnessed the crew handle a tough situation with a customer who refused to pay for service done to the vehicle. There was way more patience in them than myself if I was treated so poorly.great job on the car, and great job handling the the irate customer.

Thanks to Service Manager Dana Harwell on a job well done. Went in for an oil change and tire rotation and I knew I had a problem with tread depth on my tires and my ability to pass inspection coming up on 4 months. Spoke with Dana who explained and provided clear evidence for a need to purchase 4 new tires and the need to get an alignment. Tough to argue with logic. Went in the very next day for torqued lugs which last ed all of 1 min. Great service. Been going there for several years on both my cars.

Every time I enter a VIP Tires I'm treated to phenomenal service and the Gorham store was no exception. Nathan was very knowledgeable and helpful despite all the work needed on my car to be driven back to Maine safely. I didn't get the other mechanic's name but he was also kind and courteous. There are worse places to be stranded for several hours as you get to view Mt Madison from the window of the waiting room. Thank you to everyone at Gorham VIP Tires for your excellent hospitality and service. You are recognized and deeply appreciated.

I would recommend this shop for anyone, Mike and Dana are the two best people I ve grown to know there , they know how to take care of me and my jeep! I would like is one of the best mechanics in Maine and his repairs show it . I ve had my brakes, calipers, tie rods, rotors, control arms done along with alignments, new tires, and oil changes! I will always return when something else doesn t go right !!!!

They gouge and inflate prices for unsuspecting women and seniors. When you get the simplest of services they always come back wanting to supposedly repair something else just to hike the price of repair. I was curious and at first did not want to believe this. After the 4th time my senior female friend took her auto in for a simple oil change she called me and said "They said I need rear brakes and they would do the job for $800.00" . I told her to leave immediately and never to return. After googling the average NATIONWIDE price to replace the brakes (not replace hubs or turn rotors because it was not necessary) the average price was roughly $377- $500. I believe they practice this dishonest method because they know women and seniors do not know better, they are in fear of the car breaking down and honestly, VIP has very little competition. Notice I said very little but there are a few places that will do a simple brake job for a fair price. Stay away from dealerships for repairs. VIP and dealerships charge 3 to 5 times more expensive. I have no qualms with these businesses. I am posting this only because it is our experience.

This VIP was great! They can patch tires as long as it's not too big of a hole, which is a service that is not listed on there website. They fixed my tire fast and put it back on my truck. The staff was friendly. I talked to Dana (a worker) and he was super informative about tires and vehicles in general. I recommend the Gorham VIP I can't speak for the other locations.

Very pleasant experience with knowledgeable technicians. All work done in a timely manner. I had a flat tire and a damaged rim- they got the new tire in within the hour transferred to new rim.

From scheduling my appointment to walking out the door to curbside pickup, the service was respectful and efficient. Dana at the counter was professional, the mechanic when I returned to have new tires checked, friendly, helpful. Experience good, believe it.

I arrived on time to a 9AM appointment. The customer service representative seemed confused, like this was not in the system, but he pretended it was and took information that likely would be in the system if the appointment was real. I was told, cheerily, that there were just a few people ahead of me, but they'd get me in. Well, after about 90 minutes, I asked how it was going and was told they had 1 tire left. That last tire must have been a real pain, because it took another 45 minutes to put on. So 2:15 for mounting and balancing. I am completely convinced that was no different than being a walk-in.This was my first VIP experience and very well may be my last. The upside was the price was better than quoted, but if time is money, this was quite expensive.

Great Service from Start too Finish !!! Sorry didnt get names. But the Gentleman at the Counter was patient and helpful. Appt was on time and done when scheduled. Truck rides like a dream on the new tires. Awesome experience overall !!!!! So nice too get amazing service in a world full of excuses for bad. Thanks Guys. I would give more than 5 Stars !!!! Well 7 months later back for another set of Tires. This time on my wife s Ford Explorer!!!! Same Excellent Service as before. Great Job too all !!!! I've found my go-to shop! Dana was very personable and made sure I understood everything we went over. He took his time to explain each section, and helped me take advantage of different savings options! I would highly recommend VIP in Gorham, especially to anyone who isn't super familiar with car lingo. I'll definitely be returning for any of my car maintenance needs.Services: Tires, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment

Overall great service and results. And the desk staff was friendly and straightforward.However, my wife was quoted differential fluid service on her 2017 Impreza for the cost of an oil change . The actual cost was $160 for this service. I m guessing $80 per axle?I know rising costs have left little alone, but that seems a bit steep for an oil change. In spite of this we hope to continue receiving our vehicle services here.

Damian was extremely helpful in getting me a new set of tires after I wore out my previous set. He patiently explained how to check my tires and further preventative maintenance that I can do to reduce quicker wear. Dana and Damian are great! They gave good info and did not pressure me into purchasing any particular item. Very empowering to their customers and took the time to explain and show me potential issues with my vehicles.One star off is for the less than ideal conditions of the waiting area. Flies, dirty water cooler... Not horrible but not nice.Staff is great; come here to get good advice and help about your vehicle.UPDATE: I went in for more service and Damian continues to give great advice and service!

I'm no mechanic, but the shop is clean, well stocked, and employees are friendly/helpful/knowledgeable about the products they offer - from my experience.I've never had car service there, but I have had employees offer to install/change over wiper blades during past purchases.

Got an inspection at 1pm on October18th that revealed a problem with rear brakes and left lower ball joint. Told me they could do it then and it would take 2 and a half to 3 hours so I accepted the 1280.00 price and waited for it. My truck was put on a lift and left front tire taken off, and left for more than an hour and a half before anyone began work on it. At one point, I saw three mechanics standing by the truck talking, but not working on it. Finally, right at closing time, ( six pm), the truck was finished. As a parting shot ( probably in response to my less than appreciative mood by tben), one of that desk clerks said, " We couldve dragged our feet longer, you know" with a smirk on his face. As I was checking out a man came in with an emergency flat repair request. The rude desk clerk ( i didn't get his name) said unfortunately we are closed as of right now. The second clerk, Josh said no problem, ill take care of it. I guess every business is having problems getting good help these days. If it weren't for employees like Josh, some would probably fail.. Dana and Damian were great! I came in with a brake issue but knew that I was also in need of new tires. Dana started going over the available options but wasn't pushing for a sale. Damian showed me the wear patterns on my (very worn) tires. They were kind and knowledgeable. I felt comfortable buying new tires given their expertise. We were traveling through and the wheel bearing gave out on the tire on our camper. We were stranded in a dentist parking lot. We needed a piece of metal removed from the tire and plugged. A 5 minute job. They wouldn't help us. They told us to come back in 3 days! Did they really expect us to camp in the dentist parking lot for 3 days? Very unfriendly and unhelpful! I will say the O'Reilly next door didn't have what we needed for parts but they were friendly and tried to help. I would recommend them, just don't go expect the same service at the tire shop!

Traveling to Maine and our Jeep started having issues. Stopped at VIP in Gotham and Dan was super helpful. Took a look at our Jeep, checked for any codes and took it for a ride to see if he could figure out what we were experiencing. Wasn t able to find anything. Set our mind at ease so we could continue our journey. No charge. This place rocks! Highly recommend! This is the 2nd VIP we have used and have had great success. Thank you, Dan and VIP!

I first became aware of this business when I had a very persistent slow air leak in one of my tires. We were new to the Berlin/Gorham NH area, so we just looked for the first Auto Service center with a name we recognized and that was VIP. These people are so nice, courteous, polite, and eager to serve. They found a small nail in the tread of the tire. They fixed it by removing the nail, boring out the hole it left behind, and then they filled that with a rubber plug and a vulcanizing glue. That caused the tire to be slightly out-of-balance, so then they balanced the tire. This was all completed in less than 15 minutes and then the big surprise came in... They did not charge us at all for their work! I could not believe it! Never have I experienced a service center that performed parts & labor work for free. I later found out that some of their services with regard to tires are offered for free as a general rule. That's really cool!Needless to say, they now are our auto service provider for both of our cars. All of their employees are awesome and very nice to work with. The tires are great and their work is awesome and at a great price too. The shop is nice and clean and they have a waiting room. A bathroom is located out back in the shop. We recently bought our first set of studded winter snow tires from this VIP center and at a great price too. We love them.I highly recommend this VIP Tires & Service Center for anyone needing Tires or work done on their vehicles.Best regards!John

I Have been going to this shop for over 10 years now and have always been happy with the service that I have gotten there. Most recently I brought my Mercedes in for multiple reasons (tires, springs, brakes, state inspection), and Josh West was particularly helpful through the process. He is extremely knowledgeable and very thorough in his explanations of services. All of the work was done on the same day and I had my car back when it was promised.
