Great place and great staff! We have been looking and having such a difficult time finding a car. They had cars in great condition and at great prices, we couldn t have been happier. We worked with Morgan and he was great. I would definitely work with them and recommend them to anyone in the market.

TLDR: Don't come to 207 Motors, they will sell you a car that won't pass Maine State Inspection and the repairs will cost more than you initially paid for the vehicle. I'm especially disappointed as I am a single, young woman and you sold me a car you knew was not safe. I know any of my family members who work in the auto business and the dealership I currently work at would be ashamed if they did that.I was initially very happy with the 2008 Subaru Legacy I bought from this shop last year in October but after going to get a new inspection sticker the large amount of problems they had tried to cover up were revealed. The first issue was the brakes (which they were kind enough to resolve correctly) when I bought the car I was told the brakes were relatively new/very low wear. Within the first two months I heard horrible squeaking. When I came in to have it checked out they thankfully adjusted the pads and rotors so the squeaking would stop. They sold me a car with a new battery but it was not put in correctly, there were no hold downs so the positive connector constantly came loose, causing the car to not start unless I lifted up the hood and reattached the connector. When I stopped by VIP Auto one of the technicians was kind enough to tighten the connector (for no charge, he just noticed how distraught I was and quickly solved the problem) so I no longer had to reconnect about 75% of the times I tried to start my car. Too bad there were no hold downs so my battery is basically corroded only a little more than a year later.I was told new tires had recently put on the vehicle by the last owner and sadly the tire pressure sensor just "kept coming on and they couldn't fix it." Turns out they were too cheap and lazy to put in new tire sensors, or tell me it could be fixed by changing the tire sensors (my local tire guy said he could do it for about $100, cheap fix they could have done instead just turning the light off before I left the lot, I would have happily paid for it). As well the tires were either not aligned right or mounted and balanced correctly because a few months after I got the car all four of my tires popped or went flat after going over classic Maine potholes. The best case was when my tire was flat after just sitting for five days. I know this is due to ignorance because after getting four new tires mounted and balanced at Tire Warehouse I have had NO problem with my car sitting or going over potholes. The most major issue is the power steering and steering rack. I asked my salesman Morgan why the car made such a horrible noise when it turned left, he told me it wasn't an issue and it's simply a noise Subarus make, even his own made that noise! Wrong. The power steering pump is leaking and the steering rack needs to be replaced. The only issue I cannot completely blame on 207 motors is the suspension issue.

Cam was extremely helpful and patient. Our purchase went seamlessly. I have not had my car worked on, but I will go there if and when I need to.

Bought a used 2007 Toyota Corolla a few years ago from these guys. Figured I'd leave a positive review since the vehicle was the best ride I have had up to this point. Lasted me five years with no big issues at all. Unfortunately it got hit recently and I'm losing in (which is why I'm looking at dealership reviews in the first place). Thanks guys!

Friendly and Expert Service! I won t go anywhere else. Can you say that about where you bring your car? As an older woman I can go here and know that they are not telling me I need work that does not need to be done (oh ya that has happened to a lot of us right)? Never a problem and I know that my car is in good hands. Thanks for all you do!

Fantastic business! Cam (the owner) is the most honest car person with whom I have ever dealt. My daughter bought her first (used) car here and he gave us an honest picture of the car's condition, after which he and his technicians got the car road-ready and charged a very fair price. It looks and runs great. Cam lived up to his reputation for honesty and competency.

During an inspection, unnecessary and expensive repairs were quoted in order to pass inspection. Because I have owned the vehicle since new, I know exactly what has been done to it in the past, and the quoted repairs didn't make any sense. Checking with the vehicle dealer service, they verified that the 207 Motors quoted repairs were more extensive than necessary. Additionally, when I had the vehicle inspected elsewhere, the major problem quoted by 207 was not found at all. 207 quote: $700. Actual necessary repairs to pass inspection elsewhere: $160.UPDATE: The shop I took it to was the Ford dealer.Service: General repairs & maintenance

Cam and the other staff at 207 Motors are fantastic. It is a bit of a drive for me, but the service and quality of work is well worth it. A few months ago they did some suspension work on one of our Subarus and after bringing it back for unrelated maintenance they noticed a noise coming from the suspension that should not have been there. I had assumed it was normal, but they went ahead and replaced the part free of charge as they said it should not have been making that noise. That, among some other interactions I've had with the service staff, has demonstrated that they stand by their work and genuinely want to do the right thing for the customer.I have had limited experience with the sales side of the house, but when I bought my Impreza from them in 2020 it was an easy process.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Steering & suspension replacement, Tire rotations, Vehicle Inspection, Wheel alignment, Brakes, Air conditioning, Battery, Oil change

These guys are a straight up scam. Don't trust a word that they say. You'll be sorry you went here. They will not meet any deadlines. Charge you more when you show up than expected. I wouldn't trust these guys watching my pet rock. It's mot insurance fraud when you have pictures and witnesses of the event. The whole event/fire is documented and filmed with witnesses. You just didn't want to fill out the paperwork. Slandering customers that speak the truth. Is all anyone will need to see when reading reviews. What business owner gets on google and slanders customers opinions and facts? So we don't have right to speak our minds without you slandering me and my family's reviews. But here it is etched in stone for the whole world to see how you guys operate as a business. I hope the BBB runs you into the ground after that comment. Worst of luck moving forward.

Knowledgeable and trustworthy. I bought a Subaru from 207 Motors a few years ago. The car was freshly serviced right before I bought it and had no issues. I also service my Chevy pickup there. I like that they explain my options so that I can make an informed decision about which parts to buy, which work to have done, and when to do it. Paying for service work is never fun, but I live in Maine and own an older vehicle. Their cost is good, parts and labor guaranteed, and I can generally plan ahead for repairs I need to make.

Took my car to get aligned after lowering it and putting on some adjustable arms. Most places wouldn t touch a modified car but they took care of me and dialed in my alignment. Car feels great now! Highly recommend

What a fantastic place to purchase a Subaru! Morgan was so helpful and patient, and educated me on each car I decided to test drive. I m so thrilled to have purchased my new-to-me car with 207Motors! Fantastic quality vehicle in the price range I was hoping for, with an incredibly pleasant experience to round it out. I will certainly be back!

We had a great experience buying our vehicle. They had the car warming for us when we showed up for a test drive. The price was fair and they know their vehicles. They put work into it that was needed and warranty their work. You can tell they enjoy what they do and take pride in the vehicles they sell. Morgan was very personable and laid back which is so much better than other car salesman experiences. We are proud to have bought our car from here and we highly recommend them!!

What a great service center 207 motors is. The guys are the best and my experience was very good. So glad to get new tires that are much quieter than the others. Good choice of brand and I thank you for that. I'll certainly spread the word to friends and family.

I had a great experience at 207 Motors. Just bought a truck from them and the experience was easy and great. I found the truck on the internet and drove 2 1/2 hours to check it out. I actually came to the area for an appointment for another truck at a big dealership, after the salesman was not available at the appointment time, I head to 207 Motors. They were great and easy to deal with. I would recommend checking them out and let the experience speak for itself. I would definitely go back. Thanks guys.

These guys are great! I bought my Subaru Legacy from them in 2016 and couldn't be happier. They really take care of you after the sale with extreme professionalism. We won't go anywhere else!

Amazing place to buy a car. Our kids have each purchased one from these guys. Truly ethical, and knowledgeable sales guys and the mechanics are more than fair. I owe these guys some donuts! Ty for helping Addison out with his Outbaxk.

Would highly recommend 207 Motors to anyone looking for a pre-owned car in Southern Maine. They stand behind all of their vehicles and offer a great 6-month warranty. They make the process simple and have amazing customer service. I was able to test drive my 2012 Subaru Impreza and drive it home the same day! I recommend them to any friend or family member. Thanks again guys!

The guys at 207 Motors are great!! So happy to have a place open on Saturdays. Cam and Morgan always make sure I am safe and do not try to "sell" me what I don't need.

Got a used 2008 subaru outback here that was marketed as having brand new head gaskets. All went well for about 3,500 miles then it started overheating. Turns out they don t resurface their heads when replacing the head gaskets, or even check if they need to be resurfaced. I was told they only machine the heads if they are leaking externally. Poor practice and a terrible job replacing them which shows. If they had been more careful with the job and just checked to see if they needed to be resurfaced then I wouldn t be in this situation. They chopped it all up as bad luck . Now I have to pay to replace the entire engine which wouldn t even be worth it for how much I paid for the car. Seemed like a really legit place and friendly until that, so now i m stuck moving with no car, and not enough money to fix it. Thanks so much guys!!

Just bought a Saabaru from these guys. The car was in great shape. They had done a lot of maintenance on it and charged me a fair price. Unfortunately they wouldn't warranty the turbo motor but they were honest and straightforward about it. Awesome car buying experience.

Found these guys through a google search. I knew they were the only small dealership focusing on Subarus in the area. I purchased a 2013 subaru impreza hatchback. Some minor body damage they didn't spot, but they pointed out the damage with major rust potential from where someone drove up on a curb or something. They also fixed a crack in my glass for free. The final cost was about $200 over what I wanted to spend, but I knew they put work into the car and it was a good deal. You should know they never buy totaled cars so you never have to worry about that. About a month after I experienced transmission failure and they replaced it no problem. I'm extremely happy I can call Cameron and Morgan and they will listen to my woes because I know nothing about cars. I will definitely be recommending them to my friends and family.

I had a great experience buying a car here recently. Staff are incredibly well informed, listen to what you want out of a vehicle, and don't rush you to make a choice. I trust that the car I bought will be a good investment, and that 207 will continue to provide the service for my car.

Car was a lemon and they didn't do much to help. Had to get the engine rebuilt about 6 months after purchase. Before that it was numerous check engine lights, then a crazy oil leak. They told me they had no idea where it was coming from. Looked underneath one day after an oil change at 207 and immediately spotted the leak. They saw it and didn't say anything. Just sat there scratching their heads. Also the oil feed line to the turbo was almost completely rusted away and was dripping oil. I had to find that myself as well (and I'm not even a Subaru mechanic like these guys) Two of my friends have also done business here. One's rebuild was completly trashed, and the other bought another lemon. Numerous, stupid problems that were easy fixes. Just too lazy to fix them right. They've also stopped answering and returning my calls. The only way I would potentially give this any more than one star is if I get my $30,000 for the car, rebuild, and repairs for a car that "is perfect", and "should last you at the least 4 years."

Great attention to detail. So nice to go to a dealership that actually cares. They made repairs on my Jeep Grand Cherokee that went above and beyond. Highly, highly recommend buying from here.

Subaru experts, but work on most makes/models. (They did a couple of our windshields--cheaper than dealership, by far, and even better priced than our local glass "specialists"). Usually have a weekly special in less busy times. Work is usually very reasonable, certainly less than dealerships, but you should get idea of cost off internet & do your homework anyway. Of course, some things can't be easily solved and it may take a few visits to eliminate issue(s), but that would be the case anywhere. Still frustrating, regardless. They explain very well and will definitely say if vehicle needs to go to dealership to get, say, computer info. that they don't have equipment for, or it's covered by warranty. Very straightforward. We have been quite happy with work overall. Well worth a visit when you don't have to go to dealership for $170/hr labor plus overpriced dealership "cost" of parts. Again, check on the internet for your vehicle specific issue! MANY, MANY issues are commonly known within car brand/manufacturer, and North American arm of car brand will cut price drastically because I would mention "opening a case" regarding issue. AMAZINGLY, there's a sudden interest on getting it solved because there's pages and pages and pages about YOUR car having this "problem", all over the country, for YEARS & YEARS and nobody at dealership mentioned it... ($2,500+ "computer sensor" issue settled at dealership for $380) to fix or even cover it for free (lights on dashboard lit up, no reason, 8 year old SUV--replaced for free!) because it is "known" in the industry, but not to consumer! So check before you get work done! Look for YOUR vehicle year/issue on web forums and find EXACT problem--DO NOT be afraid to ask dealership about what you find on internet. I have literally saved $25,000+ on vehicle repairs doing this! 207 Motors mentions this too on "weird" issues. They strive to get you the best service. Can't beat that.
