We had to call AAA for a dead battery and fortunately for us, they sent AC Towing! We were so impressed by the quick response, and especially by Rick, the young man who took care of us. He charged our battery, which we then left the car running for twenty minutes, as he had instructed us. Unfortunately, the car would not restart, and it required another call to AAA, and a quick call back from Rick. He got us a battery ( which he had suspected might have to be replaced) came back and installed it for us! Thank you Rick from A C Towing! You were wonderful!

Today was definitely a Monday. Had a accident on the 295 and AC Towing was called to take the truck of the road. They got there fast and quickly loaded the truck on the flatbed. They gave me a lift to there tow yard with the truck. Not only did they give me a ride to the yard they had a great deal on some used cars that was able to get me home. Every one from the truck drive, the lady at the front desk, guys in the shop to the owner was amazing. They mad a bad day a lot easier. Thank you again guys for the help today.Bill

Dave and his team are amazing and responsive! I was blown away by how efficient they were when I locked my keys in my car. In less than a half hour I was back on the road. Professional and great service, highly recommend!- Alyssa and Harrison Hodson

I would NOT recommend this company. VERY shady business people. If I could give zero stars if I could.My daughter asked three times for them to tow her car home which was less than a mile away.He took advantage of this young driver and did not do as she asked. He knew what he was doing by ignoring her.Then when we went to office to get the car they wouldn t take her payment because they wanted only cash. Just so they could keep the car longer no doubt. These guys are BIG scammers. Do NOT give them your business.They did all this corruption just to gain the title to the vehicle. Beware!! Next one could be you.

Can't say enough good things about AC Towing. Dave came to our rescue after a trailer tire jettisoned off our brand new cargo trailer and into the Maine woods! Middle of the night, holiday weekend, tricky tow - all handled professionally and promptly and for a fair price. Many thanks.

Horrible service called to ask a question about reviving my vehicle that was towed was very rude and disrespectful wouldn t answer my questions as he was on the phone because it was late as the site says open 24/7 would highly recommend anyone besides them

I was stranded for 6 hours in wanye Maine. These guys picked me up after AAA said they had no tow drivers within a 30 mile radius. The lady Mary said they d be there in 1 hour they were there in ,30 mins and the driver was pretty good to.They were upfront and honest about the price I had to pay cash cause aaa messed things up but got a recept and getting reimbursedKeep it up y'all. Good work

My car broke down on the highway while traveling, and AC towing was hired by AAA to tow me to a safe place. The man who towed helped me went above and beyond - he looked at my car to try to diagnose the issue, brought a mechanic to look at it, and when it was clear the car couldn't be fixed in that moment he towed me the 100 miles I needed to get home. I'm SO grateful to him, he really helped me out of a stressful situation. Highly recommend this company!Services: Car towing, Long distance hauling, Local hauling

Called AC Towing when our trailer tire blew on the side of 295 on a 92 degree, busy Friday. They answered the phone with friendly service, and helped us right away. After blowing a tire on 295, they were dispatched by AAA. They were prompt and communicated with me to make sure they knew exactly where I was. They got my vehicle off the highway and to a safe location before switching out the tire for my spare. Had me on my way in no time at all. Car was Towed on Friday evening and I was unable to pick up till Monday because the office was closed.. I was charged storage fees for days they were not open. So it cost me 400 plus dollars for my car to be towed less than 5 miles. Biggest scam ever!

I just witnessed a friend going to pick up his car after it had been towed to the lot the night before. They charged him $150 for the 1 mile tow and then another $100, $50 for each 'day' the car was there (it was picked up whej they opened at 8am, not even close to 24 hours after the tow). I don't understand how small businesses can operate like this and continue to be in business.

My daughter, a fairly new driver, broke down on a Friday night on 95S near Gardiner. She was terrified, and pulled off in a breakdown lane barely the width of her car. AC Towing was the closest and had a number of good reviews. Kam answered the phone on the 2nd ring, and he was on the highway getting the car barely 10 minutes after hanging up. He brought my daughter back to the yard so that she could wait until I got there to pick her up. They transported her car to the service shop we use in Saco that very night, and texted us to let us know the car had been delivered safely. I definitely recommend AC Towing and I m grateful to Kam!Service: Car towing

I want to thank AC Towing for their work yesterday morning. My wife had a flat tire and we called AAA. Who messed up royally and neglected to call AC. Once we complained AV Towing showed up in 15 minutes. The young man who worked on the vehicle did everything he could to help us. However it was not to be, due to a problem with the vehicle and that was not of his making. You are very lucky to have him! I believe his name was Kam. I would not hesitate to use this company again. Called theses guys at 7pm on a Friday night. They were able to tow my vehicle to their shop, pull the blow out tire off and replace it within a few hours. We got a tow at the request of an androscoggin county sheriff.2 young men showed up, refused to tow the vehicle to the Leeds address we requested because it was "too far" (13 miles) and said it would have to go to their shop in Gardiner....which is more than 13 miles....When they finally agreed to tow the 3.3 miles to a friends house instead they went to strap the steering wheel down but were then found looking under our seats and rummaging through the interior.They then charged us 200 dollars for the 3.3 miles.When we called to ask about rates and why we were charged this amount they were rude and couldnt give us a straight answer as to how their pricing was determined. When asked to speak to a manager we were laughed at and hung up on.Totally unreasonable, unprofessional and SHADY.Service: Car towing

Travis from AC towing was awesome. He came a few minutes earlier then expected and seeing how my shifter couldn t get the truck out of park, he managed to load and unload it impressively without doing any damage (which I was afraid of). You shouldn't have to tell them repeatedly where you want your vehicle towed! They happened to be the company the police called the last 3 times between my vehicle and my daughter's. The last time we told them more than 10 times we wanted it towed to the body shop we use. They still insisted on towing it to their place and when I cut them off and said no absolutely not, they didn't understand why I was getting upset. I would never intentionally use them!!!Service: Car towing

Was forced to do business as my car was towed illegally. My car was vandalized with chunks of road salt, dented, and had several fresh very large scratches. Even engraved the number 17 for some reason on my trunk. Stay away from these guys. They offered me a hose and said sorry. Their Leo partners are the only reason they exist. I was very impressed with AC Towing. They came to the rescue when my boat trailer became stranded on the freeway. These are great people and they really know what they are doing. They are trustworthy and I highly recommend!

The answering service is super rude and they towed my car and locked it up on a weekend with no communication or attempt to give us a call so we could give them payment and get our kids things and a breathing machine out of the car. I would never use this towing company ever again if they were the last ones.

Lady in the office wouldn t even talk to me. I tried to be friendly and mention how cute the dog was. Nothing. Then when I got my car back it had scratches on it, salt and sand. None of course was from them. I would not recommend this place! Not professional, friendly or client centered.

Charged 100 for towing car that was totaled 600ft from house asked if they would offer anything for salvage for vehicle said it was of no value but would take it off hand freee of charge, if brought the title over following day, called around and got another offer for wrecked car of 500 would pick up for free, AC towing refused to hand over vehixle once they found out they would not be getting title, charged an additinal 100 plus storage fees as they said what a bunch of crooks, why even charge for towing if you got to keep the vehicle and new it was still of worth. Do Not call them, there tow rate changes depending on the mood their in.Service: Car towing
