Sold a Volvo suv to me that was a lemon. Transmission blew within 35 days. They would not do anything to make it right. I was stuck with a 9.5k paper weight. The women who runs this place is a habitual liar. Please take your business elsewhere. You will not get what it is you think you're getting. These people just want your money. They are not in it for anything other than the money....

I am adding to this review. The original is below the * line.Fryeburg Moters is the best repair shop I have ever used. The relationship Michelle has built with me is amazing. She goes above and beyond to provide me with information and support.Car Sales: I have purchased two cars from her. The first one I accidentally messed up by blowing the engine. Yes, my bad. The second one I drive it till it died at over 250,000 miles. Michelle handled all the paperwork around the disposal of this vehicle. From selling it to a junk yard, to sending the correct papers to the state she took care of everything while making sure I was up to date with her activities. She is looking for a replacement car for me.Service: When my girlfriend had a car accident in New Hampshire, Michelle stepped up to help navigate the insurance repair craziness. She accepted the tow and stored the damaged car, found us a repair shop, had the car towed to the repair shop and returned, talked with insurance companies to make sure all the correct pictures and estimates arrived with the right insurance agent, and kept us informed every step of the way.Repairs: Michelle has been repairing my valves over the years. The guys in the shop are very knowledgable and hard working. I have been given detailed estimates every time. I have never experienced an "uncharge" for small items like a nut. My car always is fixed right the first time. I have had to return with the same issues a second time.Go there for honest work and great service!***************************************************************Michelle always fits me into their busy schedule. There was a clean safe space for me to wait in and the bill is reasonable. If you are a woman looking for a mechanic that is honest and won't rip you off this is the place to go

This is my mechanic. I recommend this company, it is a nice local business. My cars run well. I am provided with sound advice on current and future needs. I am treated as a valued customer. The owners and staff go out of their way to deal with my needs - they are flexible with scheduling, providing transportation, etc. I have also noticed that they retain their staff and are supportive / active within the local community. I plan on purchasing used cars from them when the need arises.

I broke down 2.5 hours from home on the side of the road. I called this garage, the owner answered and I explained my situation to him. He told me once my car was there they would take a look immediately, which they did the moment the tow truck put it on the ground. They went out of their way to help my boyfriend and I quickly resolve the matter and get back on the road within 90 minutes. I would highly recommend this business and if I lived in the area they would be the only place I would take my car. Thank you again for saving our weekend away!!!

My experience at Fryeburg Motors could not have gone better and the two reviews I saw on here that were negative could not have been more wrong IMO. The owners Eric and Michelle sell quality and often higher-end pre-owned vehicles. Before selling a vehicle they make sure that it is cosmetically immaculate and in the best mechanical shape possible. That was my experience recently and in the past when I've purchased vehicles from them. I am NOT a one-time customer.I recently purchased a 2004 BMW 325XI AWD for a very fair price. Eric took the time to tell me the entire vehicle history and noted every single thing on the vehicle that I could either have repaired or leave as is. Crucial mechanical items like tires and brakes were replaced before I purchased the vehicle and were included in the purchase price. The other items were non-crucial or cosmetic items that he leaves up to the new owner to either repair or leave alone so they get the best possible deal. But absolutely no surprises before or after my purchase!Michelle did the paperwork with me and was very professional. Everything was in order and explained in detail and she told me if I had ANY problems with registration to just call her.Fryeburg motors is a professional dealership owned by two people who are passionate about cars and their business. They will find out almost any pre-owned vehicle you are looking for. If you do ever have a problem they will make it right.Often people who are pleased with their purchase will not take the time to write a positive review. I encourage those that have had a pleasant experience with Fryeburg Motors to write such a review. I will continue to be a repeat customer.

Helpful, kind friendly people. The owners work right on sight. Their technician completed my vehicle inspection promptly. I was treated with respect and the technician gave me helpful information about what repairs and maintenance my vehicle would need in the near future. Very pleased with the service received.

Replaced my 2000 Volvo alternator and battery for $1000The alternator failed 18 mos later... They fixed it for free on warranty in a big rush. Cudos thanks Michelle.

I highly recommend Fryeburg Motors. They re very nice and do great work. Prices are very fair and they re usually able to get you in pretty fast. Last time I had a flat they were able to get me in and fix it right away.

We also had the worst car buying experience of our lives at Fryeburg Motors, and we have bought many used cars from dealers and private parties. There is no point in going through the details. I encourage buyers to find a more responsible dealership. No matter how Eric or another FM employee responds to this complaint, it started and stems from the way the staff misrepresented the car - omitted key information - the day we bought it. That is my principle complaint. I should have been more vigilant. You should as well.Reply 8/19/16: Eric has filled in the details as he sees them. I could not disagree more. Stay away.

Brought in my car while on a week's vacation because of a weird burning smell. They checked it out immediately and were able to confirm it was just mud. Left car to have mirror put on which I suppplied went to pick it up they said wrong part so it wasn't done but they tried to charge me 83 dollars. I had a "check engine light" away from home. My problem was resolved and explained to me. I paid a small charge and was on my way quickly. I would recommend Fryeburg Moters to anyone.

If your thinking about buying a car from Fryeburg Moors, I'd seriously rethink doing so if I were you... I bought a 2007 Volvo XC90 in great condition (or so I was led to believe) for 10,500$ and one month after purchasing the vehicle my transmission dies. Which costs around 8k for parts and labor. I hadn't even driven 250 miles before the vehicle broke down. I called Fryeburg Motors (Her name is Michelle) and told them I'd like them to fix it for free considering its only been 1 month and 250 miles before it broke. She said because its been 1 month its no longer under warranty and that as far as she's concerned they dont have to fix it. Which this is not true. It's either 1 month, or 2,000 miles. I have the paper work to prove it as well. The funny thing is she told me and my pregnant wife that if anything did happen and the warranty ran out by a few months that she'd help cover parts and labor. She actually used this as a sales tactic. She lied of course... Michelle will say almost anything to you as long as it gets her hands on YOUR money! BEWARE: She is nothing but a common criminal. The computer in the vehicle also clearly indicated that the transmission was faulty prior to my buying the vehicle. However it only became noticeable after I bought the vehicle. Michelle said that when she hooked it up to a code reader that it didn't show but of course that was just another lie... Any code reader would have picked up a faulty transmission as its considered a hard fault. The mechanics at a certified volvo dealership said this as well. Again Michelle is not to be trusted. I'll just have to chock this one up to a very expensive lesson, one I hope no one else has to learn.Replied: I'm not sure why Michelle insists on lying to cover up another lie... She has to know this makes her look even more guilty. She obviously did't have parents that taught her right from wrong. It was not 9,900 dollars. It was 10,500. I will prove it upon request from anyone who asks. In fact I'll post a picture of the check "with omitted bank account number and routing" as proof that Michelle lies. Why would you lie about how much a customer paid for a car? You must know the customer can easily provide proof by printing the check off from online banking? Rather ridiculous. Also do not trust Kathleen's post as it's a fake post by Michelle several google accounts. Thanks, and everyone be safe when buying a vehicle, their are many Michelle's in the world =P

This experiece for me felt very rushed by the female owner, the mecanics were very appologetic they couldnt get things done and they were not the reason for this bad review. I Wont go back nor would i recomend any going here just because the female owner was pushy and seemed to care more about money that making sure we were satisfied customers..Another note, She made sure that previous issues we had with the vehicle wasnt her fault because and i quote "I dont want to have to be liable to pay for a new sway bar" which is reasonable but to say that to your customer is VERY unproffessional...She also brought up a guy who she had previous issues with that really had nothing to do with anything or our vehicle... Unprofessional???

I called to have new calipers and rotors put in my car and was refused service because this company has had some people who buy their own parts and bring them in to have installed and they've been the wrong parts so now they won't even bother with anyone who has their own parts so they can order all the parts and then increase the cost of the parts charging people way more then what the parts actually cost all the while charging you $100 an hour or more for labor

Called in an appointment a week prior, showed up on time, Called around 2 hours after dropping off the vehicle and I was told they haven t even started on the car. Never heard of the place let alone been there. Please unsubscribe me from your foolishness!!! Apparently Google will ask people to review any place you look up even though you've never been there It was Google I was telling to stop the foolishness. Not the nice people at Fryeburg Motors.
