Purchased new 1025R and attachments. I'm a first-time tractor owner. The sales rep (Eric) answered all my questions and made helpful suggestions. The service mgr (Andy) likewise answered all questions and was extremely knowledgeable. Both were great to work with. I'm extremely happy with the tractor, and look forward to using it for many years to come.

Service department leader at Fairfield is extremely helpful. He is running a better and more communicative service department than the other United Ag & Turf locations I have used, so I will drive further for the help. When the guys in Union screwed up my timing again, I came to him for help and he was readily available to assist.

Just purchased a 3038E. Eric was our salesman and answered all the questions we had. He made the purchase very easy for my wife and I. He even laughed and joked with our 4 year old daughter which helped get us through the buying process! Highly recommend working with Eric. Thank you.

My experience with Eric in sales at the Fairfield ME location was awesome. I traded in my old small Honda snowblower for the latest largest version. The entire process was very smooth to say the least.

Understanding that it takes a while to order parts, I waited over 10 minutes for one of the three people at the service desk. The first person available, then indicated that they would have to leave for one moment which I acknowledged. They never did come back. Another person stepped in, after some time. I was buying a bottle of fuel conditioner, I processed the order , and then had to wait as the employee servicing me left. He also did not return. I had to ask another employee to give me my receipt, and product, so I could take my one item and leave. I was probably 20 minutes waiting to purchase one product. And I got attitude when I asked for my receipt.

Got our little man a John Deere Gator! He already had a 12v John Deere tractor that we bought used from friends a couple years ago. We also just redecorated his room with all John Deere. Nothing runs like a Deere!

I ordered a 3046r tractor from United Ag recently. Took a few months to have it built just the way I wanted it with all the implements I needed. Eric at United was great to work with and was very attentive throughout the order and build process. The delivery to my home was made easy too. One small attachment was missing and the GM from their Fairfield store drove it to my home that very same day. Thanks Eric for making my first big tractor experience awesome.

He took the time to walk me through all the features and benefits on a technical, and cost level, and we were able put together a package that best suited my needs. Everything was handled professionally from sales to delivery!

Nice people by the book that only gets you so far in life delivered here and made me wait "their" whole lunch break I unloaded the product for them all they had to do was read the bol and verify it wasn't damaged and the right model and vin manager couldn't do anything about it he wasn't trained to sign the papers or anyone else apparently,There is the hero of the day also

I've been going to Hammond Tractor for all my tractor and small power tools like my chainsaw and weed trimmer for over 2 yrs. The folks are great in aiding your decision making so that you hey the right equipment that suits your needs. Then they stand behind it going all out to get me back up and running whenever I've had a problem. I love coming here!Update June 2023It's been seven years now and the name has changed to United Ag & Turf. But what hasn't changed is the best service. The service department comes out annually to service my equipment which is a real convenience. Their parts department is first rate, friendly and helpful. I chatted with a salesman while I was picking up parts about JD Gators telling him that I was notionally interested in one. He too was super-nice and helpful. It's great having a supportive dealer.

Used to be an ok place when it was Hammond Tractor. Now that it s United AG it s Terrible! Service dept does substandard work and they don t even pickup the phone!This business should be shutdown.Bought thousands of dollars of equipment here 4 years ago. Now I would never buy a thing from them! Go somewhere else for sure.

One of the best places I ve ever had work done! Had the pleasure of Halie as my service advisor. She was right on top of things. From the little mouse that chewed my wires to the crack in the transmission.Wires were no problem. Transmission on the other hand, well let s just say she did all she could. The first new one was wrong. Then they didn t send all that was needed for the second.. but she was right there answering all my questions and taking my frustration with a smile. Assuring me they were getting it done ASAP. If it wasn t for her I don t know if I would take my tractor back there.. she took the time to give me options on the repair. Understood that getting it back (on time) in working order was important.

great place they seem to have everything a person needs.i bought a new 1023e JD and the salesperson was very helpful and knowledgeable. everything went smooth, they were very knowledgeable in the shop as well installed all my attachments in a very professional manner. I was in and out in no time and it was delivered right on time by another professional who explained everything when it came off the truck. After 2 knee surgeries and buying a few acres of land I decided I needed a small tractor to assist in annual yard maintenance and different projects around my property. I went to United AG and had a fantastic experience with Josh Smith. Not only was he knowledgeable and logical, he helped me find the perfect machine for exactly what I need. He didn't try to upsell unnecessary things to me that wouldn't be beneficial. The process was fun and informative, not the typical sales experience. This gentleman was direct and followed through on every aspect of the sale.I decided to purchase a John Deere 3025e with multiple attachments, loaded tires etc. I could not be happy with my purchase and with the customer service provided by him and the whole team. I have referred a few people over there since then and will continue to pass the word.Absolute stellar job by Josh and everyone else.

My husband and I (not mechanics at all) had the hardest week with our John Deere, that all of a sudden no longer wanted to move forward or backwards. After reviewing fixes online and YouTube "master mechanics" we decided this was a challenge that was way over our heads. I first want to say that when we called United Ag & Turf that we were not expecting much of anything but maybe an appointment and to watch our grass continue to grow over the summer. To our surprise, without even knowing our names, they were trying immediately to help over the phone and have us try a few things. Unfortunately, simple fixes were not in our future. As we held our heads low, we were saved by the Service Manager Marc. Not only did he get us in, the same day, on a Saturday but put Dana (30+ year mechanic on the task). Within moments they knew what to do and how to fix it and told us to come back in an hour. Now mind you, we are not some huge business but just a couple wanting to mow our yard and clean up some brush with no prior experience with United Ag & Turf. We left happy to have it fixed, while dreading what a bill for this would be on a Saturday with no appointment set. To our surprise we didn't have to take out a loan or live on ramen for the next year. They just charged for a simple hours labor and the parts. Not only did they fix our John Deere but they pressure washed the whole thing, leveled the mower deck and did a quick check through. Now remember how I said in the beginning that we are not mechanics? They could have told us we needed headlight fluid and we would have believed them. I appreciate how they took care of us and treated us like one of the family. You have a lifelong customer here!

I recently bought a 1025R from Marc Poulin. It couldn t of been easier. He held the tractor till I came in. Did everything on line after that. Parts has always been great. Had a couple small issues after the purchase but Marc took care of them right away. Bought my first tractor when it was Hammond tractor even better as Ag&Turf.

I am an older woman who uses my John Deere to help get homestead chores done, especially the heavy lifting. The folks here are helpful, respectful and knowledgeable. Getting parts and financing was a breeze. It would be very easy to recommend this place to others and especially other women in the same situation needing a little help.

Can't even bother to answer their phones. I've called several times to try and order a part and no one ever answers in the parts department.---No need to contact marketing. It's pretty cut and dry, I've called several times at several different times of day while you're open. it's obvious that this is part of your work flow business strategy. If you planned on routinely answering your phone I wouldn't get kicked back to the directory to try ringing through again, or asked to leave a voicemail during business hours. It's important for people to answer when you call. If I didn't want to talk to someone I'd just order the part online.

Visited last year while comparing pricing on something we were intending to purchase. Their prices were very good, but we got a much better deal with the company we usually buy from. I would not discourage anyone from going to Hammond Tractor because I think they offer a wide variety of outdoor equipment equipped to handle the many different jobs necessary over any time of the year. You should give them a try.

I've never met anyone so helpful at a supply store in my life. Jenny was the parts girl that tolk care of me she went above and beyond to to print out extra things that might be helpful for our tractor. They did have one part I needed and she tracked one down for me at a different store. Store is large clean lots of inventory. Great place. I won't go anywhere else again.
