I'm at Midas in Ellsworth! I was greeted by Lucas Randall. He carefully went over each item and service going to be provided which is the usual protocol, but what made him stand out as an employee was his big smile, upbeat nature, professional demeanor, and his level of detail. I can surmise by this initial interaction that he really does care about Midas customers and likes working there and takes pride in his job! The owner of this business should know what a precious GEM he has in this employee. Thank you Midas for the over all great front counter service provided to me today. I will be back!

Had an excellent experience with the Midas team at this location during our recent trip to Maine. Their attention to detail and friendly customer service was phenomenal! Our technician Ray got the job done swiftly within 10 minutes of us being there even without a prior appointment. Definitely recommend these guys!

I appreciated the courtesy , professional, respectful, and truthful way I was treated. Everyone I spoke to seamed to actually know a great deal about automobiles and their care.. They explained everything Clearly, and in a way I could understand easily and in as much detail as I wished. I left with a great sense of trust with this Midas shop.

My experiences at this Midas have always been excellent. I have never had issues with them trying to push extra repairs or service that I do not want. They are thorough and efficient, wiring the completed inspection with suggested work. I can look it over with no pressure and decide what I would like them to fix or not to fix, and send it back to the service man via his attached email. This is excellent customer service! The waiting area is always clean and the gentlemen at the counter are always personable. The whole experience was warm and inviting (two words I never thought I would use to describe a mechanic shop, but there you have them!).

These guys are great. They do high quality work. They get you in and out fast. The price is on par with everyone in town. Franchise auto shops don t in general have a great reputation but these guys are the exception to that rule. If you re on the fence just make the call. This place is for real.

I had a great experience at this Midas location. The service manager was extremely helpful and fair, advising me to hold off on a brake job because my car didn t need it at the time. Great communication as well. I plan to return to this Midas location for all of my auto service needs in the future.

The Customer service is extremely friendly and employees are quick to work. Raymond and Mark changed the oil in my car within 20 minutes. Lucas made sure that I didn t need anything else and was very nice while I was waiting for my car. I will definitely return for any future car issues.

I had a problem with my exhaust and needed a muffler put in. Went in and they had it done in the next hour. They also fixed a rattling sound my exhaust was making witch I asked for after the quote to fix my muffler. Good guys and defiantly going back for a ball joint!

We made an appointment within a few days and the work on our truck started immediately when I got there. Ethan did our scheduling and Ray was our technician. Both were so helpful and kind. Excellent customer service which is hard to come by lately. Highly recommend. This crew knows their stuff and I didn t hear them try to upsell anyone who came in. Everyone was super nice and helpful. The issues with my car were explained to me with pictures and my car was fixed quick! Hopefully I won t need to go back for a while, but overall I had a great experience.

They are very knowledgeable on the work that needs to be done. They assess the situation quickly, price it up, give you the best price, They get you in and out as quick as they can. All done with a good attitude! Great crue there at Midas in Ellsworth!

oIIIIIIIoJeep wrangler jk sport owner here- I m obsessed with my jeep - Its my baby.Had a bit of situation on a dirt road today. Midas, in Ellsworth was not only able to get me in the same day while other shops provided at least a week long wait; but also provided spectacular customer service, and critical motor vehicle information.After running out of vehicle part options due to back orders (with a time crunch at hand that I was facing and needed my vehicle) they went above and beyond to quite literally custom make what I needed to get back on the road !!! The same day btw!!!A million thank you s to Lucas (manager), Ethan(service writer), and Sean (service tech)!Despite the hiccup I face- the three of you developed an expeditious resolution and flawlessly put it into action!I will definitely be back for any and all of my motor vehicle repairs in the future!!- Ashley- (Goose) oIIIIIIIo

Will never go here again. My car left worst than it arrived. Putting my life at risk. They put my tie rods on backwards and to find out once I had to take my car to someone else they didn't even put the clamp on my tie rod either. Feels like they took advantage of me because I'm a girl and don't know anything about car. Worst place. The staff was friendly though.

I refuse to go to another garage to get my work done. Lucas is prompt, polite, efficient, and overall a lovely person to do business with. Often times in a garage I m treated poorly because the employees think I don t know anything about my car. That would NEVER happen here. The mechanics are thorough, kind, and knowledgeable. If there s an issue with my vehicle that wasn t anticipated, every single time without fail, the mechanic will come out and explain what the issue is, how it happened, and how they can fix it.This place goes above and beyond to make sure you have the absolute best experience at a shop and I could not be more thankful to have a place like this downeast. Keep killin it guys

While I was waiting the young man there in charge was very nice and very helpful. You couldn't have asked for a nicer person. They were very fast and had us back on the road again were very efficient. My place to go next time. Thanks

This place is awesome. Lucas got me in right away to fix my air conditioner, even though they were very busy. All of the guys at the shop were friendly and very accommodating! They got my AC running again and pointed out a few issues that need to be addressed in the future. We were in town from Alabama with our 5th wheel camper. The brakes on the truck started squealing and I was afraid my pads were worn out. The guys at Midas made me an appointment the next morning and started my work on time. It turned out. It was not the pads at all but the brake caliper sticking. The guys greased the calipers and cleaned the brake system. Got me back on the road within 2 hours. Great work and great professional service. I am giving them 5 stars for my overall experience. I needed an exhaust repair and it was done in timely and professional manner. They are reasonable priced for sure. Everyone that worked there has been amazing. My mechanic was Mark and Geno was my Main(e) guy. Everyone is very nice there. I needed to go back to work and I needed my car for the next day. All in all, top notch in my book. You know they are doing something good when another mechanic suggested them.

Everyone was very nice andaccommodating. We were traveling from Kentucky. They checked out our car right away, and they assured us it was safe and the problem could be fixed at a later date. There was no charge. I would highly recommend this shop.

Lukas has provided exceptional customer service for me and my family and is an all star of the Ellsworth Midas team. He walked me through what was going on with my truck and what to expect and the team got it done quick and as described. I drove out of there with a safer more comfortable ride. Midas Ellsworth has a customer for life as long as Lukas is there.

Since I moved to the area 5 years ago, I have been going to the Ellsworth Midas to service everything on my cars. These guys are top notch! They do an excellent job on any kind of request and always explain everything they have done. They'll also be sure you're aware of any promotions going on. Why go to a dealership when these guys can take care of you?! 100% recommend and will continue to have my cars serviced here. Let my tale you a story that might look out of SF movie! My car were cranking but not starting. They told me that they need to change the coil and the filter for the fuel system and and including the diagnose I have to pay $916. I gave them the okay and waited for my car to be fixed! After 24 hours I had to call them to find out news about my car . Then they told me they will have to change the fuel pump too which will cost me another $560! At this moment I asked them if they are crooks, because they just look like , I gave them the ok to do the work , but I asked them to give the print of all the diagnostic they did when I'll pay my bill! I had to wait again for hours and next day I just stopped by the shop to see what is taking them more the 12 hours to change a fuel pomp? My car was on a lift with somebody working on it and the boss was there! The boss told me that I have to tow my van somewhere else , because I have them a star and I called them crooks!!!!! He told me they changed the fuel pomp but I don't have to pay them nothing! :)))) I took my car to VIP Tires and Services in Brewer and there the found some bad wiring , they fixed it for $560! Now you decide if I called the Midas people crooks for nothing :)))) I will probably gonna end this in court, it might be not in Maine, because the people here are very different from the rest of this country! :)))))

Last week our Subaru crosstrek had some lights come on and we got worried. We called Midas and Lucas got us in to get a scan even though they had no openings on the day and were slammed. The GM came out and did the scan himself cleared it and said it was okay. Same lights came back on and we made an appointment for Monday, after two and a half hours of trying to figure out what was wrong they couldn t because Subaru locks their codes. GM gave us the paper and what specific code it was and didn t charge us a dime and apologized they couldn t do more for us. Because they were so kind and helpful and didn t try to rip off two young people without mechanical knowledge, we found our shop for life. I HIGHLY recommend this shop.
