John the store manager could not have been more friendly, professional and helpful. We were visiting from out of state and he checked our battery, changed battery, installed new battery and tested our new battery and starter! All with a smile on his face and friendly discussion. HE WAS THE BEST AND WE WILL ALWAYS GO TO HIS STORE IN THE FUTURE! SO SHOULD YOU!

Update your hours and put up an answering service or at least announcement on your phone you are closed! Called 3 times over 20 minutes, I know most part counters ignore phone calls if they are busy. Drive 45 minutes to get parts for a plow truck after a storm and find out you closed 2 hours ago. Google says you updated your hours a week ago? Website says your open too? None of the online advertised hours are correct for any day.It s fine you are closed, just update your website and Google . It takes 5 minutes to save your customers a lot of wasted time!!

John once again was absolutely amazing to deal with! We were in once before and he was great then! Taught us how to test our battery and alternator ourselves as well as our fuses!! We will forever be coming to see John from now on!!!!!

Went to Advance auto parts in Ellsworth to get a new battery. Even though they were short on staff they put my new battery in quickly for me! Great service. Also I have a 2016 Honda Odyssey and it is not easy to change the battery so it was great that they did it for me!

Great service, went above to get a warranty straightened out from a store in another state. If you want great service with a welcoming atmosphere then go see these folks!! I will be back for all my automotive needs!!

Caryn and Henry took great care of me while being friendly and personable. Had my parts in stock for a competitive price. Clean store and easy to get in and out. Highly recommend.

While adventuring up to Acadia in our van our rear light and turn signal went out. Kevin Deprey was exceptionally helpful. He found the lights we needed before we arrived and even helped us replace our wiper blades. Great experience!

Just bought a Die Hard battery from them. The old battery in the truck from a previous owner was the wrong one. I was in the process of just replacing the one I had with the same battery when the guy behind the counter asked me what my truck was. I told him the make madel and year and he corrected the type of battery I needed. The CCA is much better and it seems to start faster. Great service!

New battery today $50 cheaper than the identical battery next door. Installation was performed well and in a friendly manner. Knowledgeable female staff treated my wife well when she placed the order. The folks next door are good people too, but I am glad we came here today.

The people are always so helpful and friendly. My boyfriend bought a battery here for his car not too long ago, and when he got it home he realized there was a crack in the top. I brought it back a couple days later and they exchanged it out no problem. Great customer service. Plus their reward points are a nice perk :)

In the midst of the autumnal fall, and the dimming of our summer sunlight, I lost the use of a much needed headlight and stopped at Advanced to quick fix it myself. Near closing Darren was the best damn professional, not only helping us out, but after a managers inventory of his store, he replaced all stocked items that had been moved ..By himself. It was so easy to find everything and would not have been possible without this sole employee.

Extremely helpful, thoughtful, and efficient stuff. We were driving a rented RV and our house battery is broken. The guy helped us change it in 10 min and and test the old one make sure it is broken so we can get reimbursed.

Best auto parts store on the planet. I had a battery I bought and after 9 months had to charge it. Long story short the charger was defective and burned up the gel powersports battery. Took it in to advance to see if they would test out for me to see if it ruined the battery. It did. They gave me a new battery!! You have my business for life, Advance Auto!

Employees are helpful as soon as you walk through the door. You can rent tools you may need and receive your deposit back when tools are returned, great for a 1 time job!

People were great service was great would have been a 5 star but i got the wrong parts for my exhaust wouldnt have been an issue but i live 40 miles awaynot an easy trip to return parts if your truck is in peices have to make due with what i got but for the price it would have been nice if the parts were right the 1st time so i wouldnt have to gump my brand new exaust
