In November I moved to Kittery on the border of Eliot. I was looking for some extra outdoor space to store things for my business. I had several people tell me to check out the sheds down the road at Lawrence Automotive. Maureen at the front deck was super friendly and my search for a shed stopped there.Fast forward a few months to early 2023 when I had to get a ME state inspection. I was in an out in 10 minutes and Dave even helped unplug a few wires I asked him to (broken side steps) and refused to let me pay him extra.Now it s September of 2023 and I needed all new brakes to include calipers, as well as all new shocks front and rear. Just got the truck back today and couldn t be happier. It came out great, it s a piece of mind knowing it was done right and for a fair price. I also met his son (who did a lot of the work on my truck). He was happy to answer every little question I had.I will for sure be bringing my business back in the future!

I have been using Lawrence Automotive since they were at their corner shop in Kittery. They have always taken care of me and my cars. I can confidently say this shop is 100% honest and doesn't try to suggest repairs you don't need. I wouldn't go anywhere else. You know what makes a great mechanic? Lawrence auto!I've been with them since they were in Kittery. Amazing staff, service and trustworthy. They have kept my car running for 230,000+ miles. Don't go anywhere else!

Will not be going back here and I d advise you don t either. Gave this place over 3 grand in the last month. Initially started with a full brake job, 1500 and change I get that. Reasonable pricing for a job like that.Next the truck goes in for changing the oil, diff fluid, fuel filter, trans fluid. Bill was over 1300 dollars.I m aware that the business has to make money. I m also able to do this myself but due to working long hours, am unable to. I was happy to pay for their labor to do this job knowing that it would be well above what I could do it for myself.I was charged $220 in labor alone to change a fuel filter and a wire connection for the filter. That s not counting the $76 dollars for a 20 dollar filter. not quite sure who they have wrenching here, but if it s taking over 2 hours to unscrew one filter, change 2 wires, and put it back on, they re doing something wrong.If I could give them 0 stars I would. Really thought I d enjoy supporting this local business but they have lost all business for being a dishonest mechanic.

I have been bringing my vehicles to Dave at Lawrence Automotive since he's been in business. He's efficient, knowledgeable, reputable and honest. Not many automotive businesses can claim this. Never has there been as issue and he's priced fairly if not better than anyone in the area. He's the only business I will ever go to for my automotive needs.

David us awesome. He helped me out on my way to work a few months ago so I went back with the first of my three vehicles to be looked at for inspection and safety. He is honest. Fair. He doesn't try to upsell you. Quality hometown feel. Waiting area is clean and you are greeted right away. Best is he remembered me from my first stop. A++

Our old Jeep has literally been kept alive because of Lawrence Automotive. 236K, Estimate is always what we've paid for the repair. Flexible with pickup and drop off times, and able to dropcar off in a pinch.
