Great selection for a small town grocery store. Also leads to thier one downside... Isle space. The store is very tight and difficult to maneuver.Other than that, great store. Fair prices, good produce and clean. The checkout lines can become awkward at times but the staff does a good job of keeping things moving. We stop regularly when passing thru town.

Its an older store that is tightly shelved, but it nice to have a grocery store in Cornish. What I like best about it is that they sell the 5 gallon bottles of Poland Springs water that I can't seem to find anywhere else except to order them directy from Poland Springs. That is the only reason I travel the extra miles to this store.

Worst run front end EVER.Again, at noonish, 2 registers open, no quick check, SLOW clerks trying to check out fully loaded carts. No quick check, God no! And the last time I was in the quick check they closed it without saying a word. In a busy time! Jerks. For the umpteenth time I walked out, left my hot food on a shelf and left. This place has no notion of customer service, more interested in chasing "covid mask offenders" in to the parking lot and throwing food at them (yup, the video is still up and easily found). They need to hire someone from Hannys to manage that front end and fire the amateurs.

I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional customer service by no less than the 6 employees I encountered. The prices were slightly less $ than the Walmart in North Conway, NH and the store is small for people with walking disabilities. A good footnote the pharmacy is located at the front of the store. Highly recommend this store.

Employees should be cautious about who they bad mouth at register! Saying the line workers are Hiding! Ungrateful B. Be kind or say nothing at all. At her age should know better!

This market is small but offers a wide variety of items. There are a lot of kids working here, making it easy to get help finding things. The produce was fresh and plentiful.

I preferred going to this grocery store because it's smaller and usually less crowded than other Hannaford stores. That being said, the kids and young adults that work here are the RUDEST and unhelpful bunch that I've ever encountered. They will walk right into you. They don't say hello, or excuse me...nothing. You best get out of their way because they aren't going to move for you to even get by. It's awful. The other thing I need to bring attention to is the dairy section. Often there is air inside the front packages of cheese, yogurt, milk, etc. That means that bacteria is growing within that package. The items do not stay cold enough to store those items in a safe manner. I don't know how many times I've had to throw just purchased items out because they were spoiled. I haven't been to the store for a while because of those things. If I do go again, it will be for one or two items...and they won't be meat or dairy products.

Best shopping experience. I have been going there for years. Always so pleasant and if I can't find something someone is always willing to stop what they're doing and go find out if they have it or not. Such a great place.

Very nice people been going there on and off for our 32 yrs the prices are high & don't have steak anymore in the meat department. I can understand this because the price of food everywhere went up. Meat cutter dress code unacceptable, garage Street clothes. But I go there for spices they have the best wide range of spices within 100miles even N. H. My wife when alive used to clean there house very nice people really. l get a kick out off the checkout asking me if I found everything I needed? I say yes.I get a compliment on my age once in awhile, I tell tell I've been coming before you where born. Hahaha I like them Alot. I have to go to the bathroom more now and that stops me from staying to long.

Super frustrating to go into a public business that doesn t offer restrooms to paying customers, when I asked an employee where the bathrooms were his response was sorry, our manager took the bathroom away for customers. Apparently this isn t the only business in town who doesn t offer public restrooms though. Shame on the town of Cornish.

Worst moment in my life having to ask for help and was treated rudely and embarrassing in how I was spoke to by associate. She knows who she is. I don't have to shop here because I have to, shame on small town business

I shop here regularly. All staff is friendly and helpful. Today they were exceptional. Hanna (spelling) helped me with a beautiful plant. She went out of her way to help me. She also helped me to my car with the plant. I continued to shop and Isaiah (sorry for spelling) approached me holding my earring!! I had lost it! He found it then made it a point to find me in the store! He made my day! My husband bought me these earrings 15 years ago! I was so thankful he found it before I even knew it was gone! Both associates went above and beyond customer service and should be proud!Thank you so much!Stacey!I forgot to mention, I also got a nice hug from my friend Laura!

They have everything you need in a small grocery store. And if they don't have it, they can get it for you, and will!Friendly staff, and fair prices.However....if you're an older person who needs to use a restroom, plan accordingly, as they do NOT allow the use of theirs. There is even a sign that says "No Public Restroom". The frustrating thing is that they have them, and I tried to use the men's room. They have a semi-permanent sign on th door that says "Closed for cleaning".An associate sitting back there told me that I couldn't use the men's room, and didn't offer the woman's room which did not have a cleaning sign. Some of us have to go when we shop, and I spend a lot of money in this place. Please Call's, do something about this!!!!

Thank you for the prompt reply and the apology.Everone works hard there.Just to be clear they said "we have two bags and I said "no I buy four bundles at a time"They said they would check came back to phone said they had the bundles.I'm guessing now they just asked someone. Its okay.I know they are busy. Its just that it was a bad day health wise. I drive down from Limerick because I like your store

I have been shopping here for over 13 years. It is a smaller grocery store with all the basics. The people complaining about it being too small don't even know how small it use to be before they took over the space of the old video store. A few of the staff have been working there for years and then a good number of them are teens getting their experience in the work force. They did a great job during the lock down of the pandemic to keep the store as safe as possible and still do.

As for the shop and save is I've been in that store it's good price very nice people went to the restaurant down on the in towards the left and found prices so expensive I could not believe it I even brought home a menu but it's in the car crazy the prices that's almost like going to inaugural ball with a place on a $50 plate wow they're banging bucks , but I thought a crowd in there sitting I was with a friend and it was just too pricey for us so we went somewhere else

Love shopping here. If they don't have what you want they will order it for you.And very giving people. My son went into the Army and was across seas in very dangerous places. His favorite drink is Moxie. And they sent him a couple cases. How thoughtful is that? Thank you CALLS.

This is the one and only true grocery for over five miles. They have been a staple of this community for decades. They're only about one quarter the size of most, but they stock all the essentials and favorites. They also stock a lot of beer, wine, and liquor. It's rarely crowded and the staff keeps things moving. If you found this review to be helpful please consider adding a thumbs up

Absolutely disgusted by the this place lately. Service is terrible. We have bought so many food items that should never have been put out. Bought breaded haddock, had no taste. Bought whoopie pies, tasted like they sat for weeks. So many other things I can t even begin to mention. Employees don t speak half the time and if they do they have attitudes. If I had my choice I would never cone here again.

This grocery store lands neatly about 30 minutes from all other larger grocery stores making it the best option around. Owned by Hannaford you can find many of their store brand products here but don't expect to use you're rewards account. Also very clean and mindful of germs.

I bought a quart of Half and Half at this store last week and discovered a disgusting, blueish, gummy foreign object in the container after we opened it. I called the store manager to report what I found in hopes she would want details about the product purchased such as brand, lot numbers, expiration date etc. so that other potentially affected products from the same lot/batch could be removed from the shelves. Surprisingly she was not interested in that information, although she did offer a refund or product replacement if I brought in the original container. In my opinion, product safety issues should be taken more seriously by Call's store management. Refund or product replacement for a $3 item was not why I called.

Locally owned they make you feel like family.I've asked them if they could get a specific wine a couple of times, they said they would try.And they did get them for me and call me when it came in.The store is always spotlessly clean, well stocked, and the employees bend over backwards to help.

Only grocery store in town. What can you really say. Over priced on a lot of things. It's small but does the trick when you need a couple things from the store.

I make my weekly trip to Cornish U.C.C. for morning service. Recommended :-) then after church I stop by Call's to get a few groceries. They have a great selection in every dept. The clerk's are very helpful and cashier's have nice attitudes. Prices are reasonable given it is a small town store. You don't know me but I've had good results shopping there. And don't forget to check out the Cornish church, tell 'em the Silverfox sent you!
