I got quoted by VIP in Bangor to replace the muffler and some suspension components on my Jeep. I was a little shocked (pun intended) by the quote and was told by a friend to give Sherwood a call. Long story short, I'm glad I did, because not only did he repair everything VIP would have, but he also replaced my front brakes for me and the price was still less than two-thirds what VIP quoted me.His location is a little more remote than others but he accommodated my need for transportation and had all the work done in a little over a day. The drive is definitely worth the money you will save and the peace of mind that the job will get done right. I will definitely be coming back next time I need any major repairs.Services: Exhaust, Steering & suspension repair, Brakes

Very impressed. Called and scheduled a brake change for THE NEXT DAY! Owner was professional and efficient. Even squeezed in an inspection on short notice. Didn t end up needing the brakes - he let me know a rock was the issue the whole time! Could ve easily charged me anyways. Amazing, professional, and honest. We were visiting from boston and on the way home had a flat. Sherwood checked our tires out and unfortunately they weren't repairable but didn't even charge us for the 10 minutes of his time.We went to a place he recommended (swetts) and changed out our tires with new ones and made it home no problem whatsoever thank you!Service: Tires

Brought the car in with a pretty serious oil leak. The problem was diagnosed and fixed in under an hour. Very reasonable prices as well.
