I have struggled over the years in this area to find an automotive shop that leaves you confident in their service, brings you in quickly, appreciates you as a customer, and charges you fairly. After my third visit to Don Foshays in Camden, I felt compelled to express my gratitude to them for providing all of this and more. The staff have been super nice each time I'm there, have brought in my vehicle straight away each time I've called (it can take me weeks to get appointments elsewhere), and they didn't even charge me for this last assessment. Who does that anymore? My special thanks to David and Ryan for all their help. You've got a loyal customer here who is so happy to have you all in town.

I just want to thank everyone here at Don foshays for a very relieving and reliable car service. From phone call to talking through whatever is happening with my car, to a very speedy and affordable solution, I have just never actually been happy to go to a mechanic and walk away feeling really well taken care of. I brought my car to Don Foshay's based on the amazing reviews I saw online, and I could not possibly agree more that this shop, the staff, and service are nothing short of excellent. I had a slew of problems with my car, and they got me in quickly, were fairly priced, made sure I got the best deal possible, and communicated incredibly well. If you don't answer a call, they will immediately text you the details, which was amazing because I was at work while they had my car. Ryan, the shop manager, is so kind, professional, helpful, and just overall a great, trustworthy guy. They replaced my brakes, struts, a tie rod, and found the root of an issue that even the mechanics at the dealer had missed. This experience was a 100% in every aspect. Don Foshay's is a class act.

I have been using Don Foshay s in Camden for several years and they have been amazing. They are organized and on time and always do what they say they will. I have an older Toyota that I ve been determined to keep running. A couple times they ve suggested that it might be nearing the end of its life and didn t want to encourage me to keep putting too much money into it. I ve sometimes insisted that we try various ideas of things I ve found on YouTube and they ve always been willing to consider and try things if they seem reasonable. I have never felt like they were trying to get me to spend more money than needed. Overall, I ve just had a really good experience getting honest assessments and a fair price. I d recommend them to anyone.

I had my tires changed over today, the guys there were super nice and friendly. Even a little funny, everything was done quickly and efficiently! They also found a small problem with my wheel bearing and guided me on what to do next. Five stars from me!

This morning I had my tire repaired at Don Foshay s Discount Tire & Alignment in Camden. The manager was very pleasant & explained the process to me. They took my car right away at the scheduled time, & it was finished sooner than I expected it to be. He also was kind enough to let me know the other services they offer since it was my first time in. I ll definitely be a returning customer & would recommend them!

Phenomenal all purpose car service stop. I do my snow tires, brakes, every 5,000 mile checkups for my Volvo here and absolutely love the friendliness, timeliness, and expertise here. Definitely a win to get your car serviced here! Ryan is especially helpful at the front desk, he ll make sure all your needs are met quickly. The mechanics are very knowledgeable and experienced which is just amazing! I can t say enough good things about this place!Service: Electrical repair

As always, Foshay's crew was fantastic. Whether it be those at the front desk or the mechanics, everyone is professional and accommodating. I messed up the time of my appointment, and they managed to fit me in and install new rear brakes when their inspection of my car showed the were needed. I have recommended Foshay's to a number of people, and everyone who has taken their vehicle there has been pleased. As long as I have a car, I will be a Foshay's customer.

Went there today to get an inspection sticker, eight guys standing near the garage, figured an easy five minutes, they booked me out with an appointment instead of doing a process that takes literally five minutes. Mechanics are lazy.

This was the third time that I had taken my car into Don Foshay s in Camden Maine. Each time the service has been timely, excellent, and performed by very efficient and pleasant service people. This time was no exception. The initial reason for going was for my annual inspection, which was performed thoroughly and timely once again. While doing the inspection a very efficient service person whose name was Ryan discovered that the Cabin Air Filter was degraded, and was allowing a cloud of white salt like particles to fill the inside of the car. This was extremely undesirable, and I had not been able to find anyone up to this point who could diagnosis this problem. Ryan diagnosed it immediately. He installed a new filter and then tested it over the course of several hours in order to make sure that it was operating properly, and that all the particle debris was flushed out. I felt that this service was excellent, thorough, knowledge driven, and as a result, I was a very satisfied customer. In the future, I shall return to Don Foshay s s in Camden Main for all my automotive needsServices: Air & cabin filter replacement, Vehicle Inspection

Don Foshay s is our go-to neighborhood shop for all our auto repair and maintenance needs. Dave and Ryan always manage to squeeze us in and stand behind their work. Professional and concerned for my safety. I found them flexible and accommodating working on my old cars. Prices for alignments seem to be average ( i.e. not inexpensive) . I recommend them if your local independent doesn't do alignments.

Had a flat tire on vacation, and this place took care of us promptly and professionally. I would definitely use them again. Ryan was terrific to work with and we even wound up replacing our tires thanks to his excellent suggestion (it was time and we knew it, no sales pressure at all). He's a super guy, too. Booking my appointment was straight forward and convenient. Upon an on time arrival, the assigned Technician greeted me in the reception space. Introducing himself and confirmed my scheduled alignment and immediately proceeded to perform the requested service after stating the time to complete the work. The work was completed in the specifiedo po time and I was presented with a detailed diagnostic printout of the alignment corrections along with a statement that fairly represented the quoted cost of performance. I was well pleased with the experience and with the vehicles performance on the drive home.

My car kept stalling at stop signs. The first week they sent me to the wrong department and didn t have time to look at my car properly. The second week they claimed that they couldn t duplicate the problem, but I could see what they were doing and it wasn t the same way that I would duplicate it. Finally I had to go bring it to the dealer and the dealer wouldn t fix it because there was a hole in the frame, so it wouldn't (shouldn't?) have passed inspection. I noticed there are no three star reviews in the reviews, all the reviews are comically very very high. Let s see if this one sticks around.Service: General repairs & maintenance

The absolute best mechanics in the state of Maine. We ve brought two different Range Rovers and a Toyota Tacoma to Don Foshay s, each with their own unique issues brake issues, engine issues, flat tires, alignment issues, the list goes on. The guys at Don Foshay s have been incredibly accommodating with their schedules and found the resolution to each problem quickly, thoroughly and for a reasonable price. They are honest, endlessly hardworking, and operate with integrity (I actually prefer to take my cars to Don Foshay s instead of the dealerships mechanics )Can t recommend them enough!Hayley McKinnon-Addis

The Camden Don Foshay's staff are the best -- truly! I have gone there periodically over the years when I was visiting for the summer, but especially in the last year when I moved to Camden permanently. They are always super friendly and knowledgeable. They (especially Dave) take the time to explain all the issues and what the best course of action is -- including when it is just better to save the money and not do a repair that ultimately won't be worth it. This makes me trust them completely when they do recommend a repair because I know for sure they have my best interest at heart. Don Forshays in Camden is my go-to for tire purchases, tire changeovers, oil changes, and state inspections. They're so busy but always super polite, kind, and professional. I think they have an excellent work ethic as a team.
