Was driving by around 8:15am and figured I would swing in and ask if they could do an inspection on my 22 4Runner. Before I could ask to ( make an appointment ) I was bombarded with DO YOU HAVE AN APPOINTMENT!? I said no I m just driving by figured I d see if I could get one and told him I was headed to Scarborough. Then he proceeds to go off on oh you ll spend this much more in Scarborough if you get one there. Blah blah. Honestly I d have booked an appointment if he wasn t so un personable and trying to hard sell me on an inspection sticker. Who cares!? It s less than $20! Won t be recommending this guy.

Frank and Matt were awesome. We were passing through and they got us in quick, took care of us for a fair price, and took time to explain everything. I am not from Portland, but if I was, I would have found my home mechanic. 5 stars

i have taken my vehicles to these guys a few times. they have always done everything to keep price down as much as possible, and tries to schedule you so your vehicle is in and out as fast as possible. and like today, he was booked and recommended another garage that works often on the type of issue my car had. (A++) which was able to fit me in the next day! They really put the customers needs first.

Scheduled an appointment ahead of time, they helped me right away and solved my problem. Fair price and helpful mechanics. Hopefully I won't need to be back, but if I have car troubles I can't fix myself these guys are where I'll go.Service: General repairs & maintenanceService: General repairs & maintenance

I'm writing this review on behalf of my mother, who was having quite a bit of difficulty with her truck (her work vehicle that she relies on!) a few weeks ago - she stopped at multiple mechanics to try and get the problem looked at, but it was only Probably Auto that helped her! They were kind, polite, and figured out the issue right away and got her back on the road in record time! She'll be using them for all of her vehicle needs in the future - we can't recommend them enough!

Excellent, honest, fair service. I definitely recommend having your car serviced here. The owner is genuine and a caring individual who takes the time to get to know you. It is clear that he does what he loves for the sake of happiness, not for the chance to earn a buck. I will be back!

I've had several repairs done here and it is such a good feeling knowing that the repair was done correctly. They are excellent at what they do and make sure the car is repaired right. I never feel like they are trying to sell me repairs that are not needed.

My husband and I have been taking our vehicles to Frank at Probably Auto for years! They do excellent work at fair prices! Highly recommend this garage!!

Absolutely love Frank and Scotty, been using them for 12 years and have never ever had an issue with any of their work. I recommend literally everyone to go to them. Honest guys.

I think the reason people around town say I "probably otta gone somewhere else" is a pretty good joke when it comes to probably Auto. Everything you get there seems to be in the same price range and it seems to all lead to amounts of cocaine you can buy at a time. Not joking. They got 2 not one cause they have clean restrooms and I've never been to a garage where I could say that.
