Had good luck with service on my jeeps here over the years however until recently never bought a new vehicle from Bodwell. I called around looking for the best price and Erik Bodwell matched the best prices I had found. When I came to the dealership to see one of the trucks Erik spent a good hour walking around and answering my questions patiently. I never felt like I was working with a salesman. Erik treated me like a regular guy and pulled everything together perfectly. So perfectly he was able to personally deliver our new truck to my house the same day before my wife came home from work so I could surprise her. Best experience I have ever had buying a new car, really enjoy the character and quality of the people working here.

Nice people, horrible customer service. We have had both our vehicles in for service in the past 4 months. We always drop it off the day before the scheduled appointment and not one time was it ready on the day scheduled, they don t even have the courtesy to let us know. We have had to call each and every time to get the status of our vehicle. One time I had an appointment for a recall and new tires and when I called at noon the advisor had no idea what it was in for or that I had already purchased the tires, and I had to call them at noon and they hadn t even touched my vehicle. The service has never been completed on the day of our appointment, and they NEVER call you with updates, and one day I was hung up on 3 times!

Had a great experience at Bodwell. The service center had a nice and clean waiting area to wait while the technician determined where the oil was dripping from on my vehicle. The service center also advised me a recall part became available, they ordered it and were able schedule an appointment for when the part arrives. The entire staff is knowledgeable, friendly and courteous.

Absolutely not happy with Bodwell s service. Second visit this year where my truck wasn t ready for pick up when agreed upon. After I dropped it off last night with an agreed pick up time of 11:30 the next day. I arrive at 11:30 and the service hadn t even been started.

They were all very accommodating and helpful. They even provided shuttle service to Topsham Mall to pass time away. They fixed a wheel bearing and I new I needed brakes they took the time to fix those as well. The only thing negative is they did not honor my extended warranty because I have to buy the vehicle through them. I would have purchased a vehicle through them but when I was looking for a Dodge journey they didn't have one for me to purchase. My husband purchased one through them.

All the staff here are extremely Polite & knowledgeable. The quality of the work is 1st Class Professional. Fair Pricing.They work on all Makes & Models.My 2007 Tacoma just received struts, front brakes, rotors, 4 tires, alignment, synthetic oil change & inspection. Detailed bill with pricing broken down and explained. Extremely Pleasant experience.- Excellent customer service.

I was due(was actually overdue ) for a sticker on my Jeep Wrangler. I call to set up a time for service. They were actually able to get me in immediately, and my wait time was only an hour. They were extremely friendly.

I have had my Jeep serviced here for years. I have had a few issues here recently and decided to give them one more chance. Fortunately they mostly redeemed themselves. I had a drop off apt here. Adjusted my schedule dropped it off and I had to call three times to get any updates and by the end of the day the car hadn t been touched once and I hadn t received a single call that it wouldn t be done that day. My final complaint is the person answering the phone for apts i believe his name is Jeremy was extremely rude to the point where I almost didn t make another apt. I hope they have figured out the kinks if there is new management or whatever has been going on.

Was very happy with the service once it was being worked on. Would prefer in the future however, if your running a couple days behind doing repairs that we be informed of that so we can plan accordingly. When we have a specified day and time of drop-off, fri-8:30, I would assume that means that's when it's planned to be worked on. I understand things happen but a little courtesy/information goes a long ways is all.

Had recall work done. Got a call that the part sent was possibly damaged. So they ordered a new part instead of putting in questionable part. Said it would be done in 2 days. & it was.Excellent service, kept us updated, friendly people working there.

Purchased a new truck for Maine Maritime Museum. This was our third vehicle purchase with Bodwell in the past twenty years. Always had them serviced there and always received great service. They are very easy to work with and so supportive of the museum. We'll be back in 2032 to buy our next truck.

Staff very friendly. This was my first time servicing my vehicle here and I was pleased with all my interactions. They set me up in the system and explained the service. Jay in the parts department also helped me with my new floor mats!

Fantastic. Cheaper than other Jeep dealerships in Central Maine, and faster than expected given the number of appointments for the day. Less than 3 hours for a wheel bearing and oil change. Very happy.

I had a great experience purchasing my vehicle from Bodwell. My Sales Man Steve F. was just fantastic. The process was fairly quick and their hospitality was great. Zero pushiness! The knowledge Steve had about every aspect of my new vehicle was amazing, he even sat down with me in the car to go over all the trim/specks. I would recommend Bodwell to anyone, without hesitation. Very psyched I found my new home for all my vehicle needs.

Excellent good old fashioned service. They stand behind their vehicles new or used.We bought a used Chrysler Town & Country back in 2015 and we recently traded our old Tacoma truck for a very nice 2022 Dodge Ram Bighorn. They delivered our truck because my husband had shoulder surgery recently and we had no way to pick the truck up because we needed two drivers!

Thank you!! I was visiting Maine for a family wedding and was due to leave to head home today. Yesterday my truck broke down. After many frustrating phone calls to other dealers that were unwilling to help, I chose to make one more call to your service department. I reached Braxton in service. He was extremely nice, and told me if I could get my vehicle there they would at least diagnos it. By 10am this morning they had my truck, diagnosed, repaired and me able to get on the road to head home. I can not thank you enough for your wonderful customer service and excellent service department!!

I haven t bought a vehicle from them but the service department is TOP Notch! They ve serviced our T&C, Ram 1500 and 97 jeep wrangle. Never once have I had to return because something went wrong with our repairs/service! Jay from parts/service recommended a different tire because I ve had too replace my current tires almost every 2 years, thank you Jay! I ve dealt with Chuck on most services/repairs and he s as professional as they come, GREAT gentlemen!

I called them about the 44A recall on my Promaster which is rather confusing if you research it online. The service department was very knowledgeable about the steps needed to be taken, made an appointment within a few days. They updated software after checking proper shifting and told me there may be more info coming out in the future.Great overall experience so thank you Bodwell Motors!

I ve had years of exceptional service. My 2007 Jeep Compass has always been well-serviced at a fair price, allowing me to drive it for 16 years and counting. Vehicle maintenance is just as important as vehicle sales at this wonderful family owned business! Thank you to the whole service team.

My experience with this dealership was less than ideal. If you can get through to someone to schedule an appointment I would consider you lucky. On top of that, when you do schedule an appointment they transfer you to the parts department to make sure they ll have the specific parts for your visit. If you want to speak to someone from the parts department, good luck. Even leaving a voicemail will not do you any good for the parts manager. They take hours for simple fixes and might not even have the part (which was my case). We wait hours for a simple fix only to be told no one ordered the part for it. This dealership is chaotic and run very poorly.

Sales and service are very friendly and accommodating, even offering loaners to customers while veichles are in for service.Braxton, Chuck and all of the others are excellent with customer service and efficiency.Highly recommend!

Great friendly service. I was reminded why I choose to call Bodwell and wait patiently for my appointment. I wait because they are extremely busy. They are busy because they do a great job, possess integrity, and are fair. I have no complaints as a repeat customer. I also saw that while I waited to pick up my vehicle, there was a party hoping to get help with a used car they bought somewhere else that needed major repairs. They just wanted someone that they could trust to look at their vehicle. Bodwell Motors is the place you go when you want an honest answer.
