My car had broken down and needed an ABS repair and wheel bearing repair on a weekend. My car was looked at within about 30 minutes and was fixed within that next 35-40 minutes. The staff were extremely kind, efficient, and very helpful. Amazing service and staff overall and will definitely return with any future auto needs!

Needed a simple battery replacement and tire rotation. I can't say enough. Marie made the process so simple. We talked over upgrading batteries versus cost. There was no pressure and the entire process was very simple and they also offer tv coffee and free wifi while you wait. Highly recommended.

I rarely write reviews but I have to say my experience with VIP has been amazing. So far I have had to bring my vehicle in twice once for a battery issue and second for a leak and I was amazed at how quickly they were able to fix my vehicle and at a very affordable price. The staff has been very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Thank you again.

VIP Brewer has taken care of my car twice and I ve had a great experience both times. They are efficient, friendly, and reasonably priced. Will at the front desk is great and helped me get my car fixed right away.

Haven't had great luck in the past and I really needed new tires and I am glad I came back to VIP. The waiting area and counter was brand new since the last time I was there, staff was very nice and friendly and found me a great set of Cooper tires. Got new tires put on, did an inspection on my vehicle and did it all in the same day in the time I was waiting there in the middle of the storm and got my car down off the list just in time before the power went out. Let me come back and pay for them later when the power came back on. Felt like family that day. Thank you VIP Brewer, Maine!

Needed an inspection today and very glad I came in VIP called this morning to check on any appointments and William said sure bring it in around noon! Came in front brakes were shot as I suspected no problem new brakes oil change and great customer service Good job to Jordan and his team thank you ViP

Needed an inspection sticker and was desperate to get one before my trip this weekend. I called and they promptly got me in same day and even waived the sticker fee! Extremely nice people and a joy to shop at. Highly recommend!

I cannot say enough about Jordan and Caleb and the entire staff at VIP. Their expertise, precision and the amazing CAN DO attitude is a welcome respite. I am what would be known as a frequent flyer. I drive 100,000 miles a year performing volunteer work, using my personal vehicle. When I pull in to VIP I am greeted as a friend. They always remember my name. No matter whether I have an appointment, they take the time to insure my repair and/or tire needs are met. Many thanks for all of your hard work and dedication.

I usually love VIP, and I rarely leave negative reviews, but my latest experience with this location was extremely disappointing. My mother took her vehicle here for an inspection and was told her tires were dangerously low on tread and she needed to replace them immediately. I took a look and she had 4/32s on all 4 and 2/32s is all that is required to pass for state inspection. I figured she must have misunderstood them, but she still was afraid to drive her vehicle on those tires. About a month later I took my wife's car in for an inspection. They told me my tires were dangerously low on tread, and that they would pass them today, but if I had waited another week they would have failed. Those tires were rated for 85k miles, and I only had 30k miles on them, so I found it odd. I took it home and checked the tread, and I had 6/32s on all 4, with the lowest spot I could find being 5.5/32. Those tires easily have another 20-30k miles in them, if not more. When I mentioned this to them, I was told that they do not go based on tread depth, but based on mileage. Which makes no sense given the tires only had 30k out of the 85k miles they were rated for on them. On top of that, Maine state inspection requirements say nothing about mileage, only about tread depth. I continued to argue this, and was met with frustration, and told "well it's just our suggestion, you don't have to get them." I find it very uncool that they are using scare tactics to convince unaware customers to buy new tires. Needless to say, I will not be back to Brewer VIP.

VIP has become my go to! They always get me in quickly. The service is some of the best I ve received. They do not oversell products and they are always honest. I will continue to come here for my car needs. Marcus was absolutely wonderful!

Stay away from this place! We made the test. My son went for an inspection sticker for an old Hyundai with a leaking gas tank and other issues, and he passed. I came with a pretty new RAM Truck, which I bought a year ago from a dealership, and they gave me a long list, which would have cost me thousands to pass the inspection. They even added brand-new ball joints.So, that is how it works here. Let the junk cars pass to build your reputation and make money with the expensive cars.

I brought my car in for an oil change and an inspection and unfortunately had to get new tires. The guys behind the counter were very helpful and gave me the information I needed to get the right tires for Maine weather. I don't leave a lot of reviews online unless the service is either Awesome or Awful....VIP in Brewer are top notch. Jordan and his crew at VIP Brewer are my go-to place for any issues with my vehicles, so much so that I have co-workers and other family that now go to them as well. Fair pricing, honest work, don't upsell you on crazy things you don't need like the dealer does. If they say you need to have the work done, you do, simple as that.Services: Tires, Wheel alignment, Brakes

So I got a alignment done on Saturday. I was pulled into Walmart in Calais Maine yesterday and my tire completely went sideways because they did not put a cotter pin in the castle nuts on the tie rod ends both of my tire rod ends were extremely loose passenger side and driver side this happened on my personal side. I usually have good experience with the VIP and Brewer this is the first time something like this has ever happened. Thank God I carry an extra wheel bearing and I high liftJack and I have enough experience to know what to do when something like this happens thank God I also carry an extra tie rod end for both sides cuz I do a bunch of driving in the middle of nowhere it totally destroyed my rim and brand new tire and also break caliber bracket and the wheel bearing.I know I will not be going back to VIP and I know that a bunch of legal issues are about to happen.So I just got off the phone with it assistant manager at 9:00 he claimed that they didn't lose the cash or not that they did all the adjustments on the inside by using a wrench so I went out to my truck and tried to use a wrench to adjust the inner tie rod ends but just to see if it's physically possible but because my tie rod ends up brand spanking new the whole rack and pinion is brand new on my truck it's so stiff that I couldn't turn it with a wrench.So lolI should note that I spoke to Marcus and I like Marcus I like Jordan they're good guys Marcus claim that he was out there when my vehicle was being worked on well he was moving back and forth he was out there the whole time.Considering that my truck had brand new wheel bearings on it brand new tie rod ends inner and outer brand new rocking pinion brand new A-Arms upper brand new ball joints before I went there and it was me into mechanics that I trust with my life that worked on my truck and I personally know that I put the castle nuts on to talk specs and I also put the cotter pin sin my self and 2 mechanics with a lot more experience than I did checked after I was done and drove away and then a few days later they did my truck I personally know that it was nothing to do with me other people that I know that helped me with my truck.A new wheel if I can find one is going to be $500 the rim a new wheel bearing is $195 the bracket for the brake is 95 the new tire going to cost me $159A new CV axle is going to cost me about $150 I haven't priced it out yetA new brake line hose $55.The time to replace everything.I should have never went there but that's why I've been getting my alignments done for a very long time whenever I'm in the state of Maine.Update I reached out to two different mechanic places that are non-bias both of them said the the tie rod end outers definitely was removed the red loctite that I had on as a backup was no longer holding them into position. One shop said $1,200 worth of work the other shop said 800. All because somebody Rush the jobSo after a lot of research a lot of emails back and forth they're taking the standpoint of their person didn't do it it must have been my person that put everything on even though I have pictures and video and also a video of the parking lot before I wanted to get the alignment don.I had two independent mechanics look at my truck they stated the loctite that I had on my truck on those components the loctite seal was broken.There is two marks on the outer tie rod end that looks like somebody took a small hammer and hit up on the outer tie rod ends.Because my tie rod ends are completely brand spanking new and also with the cold it was almost impossible to turn the inner tie rod ends with a wrench.VIPs responsibility is to its business they would never admit fault.My mistake was I should have checked their work after they were done before I left the business.More than likely I will be taking civil litigation against VIP I gave them 10 days to make right.

When I started doing reviews, I had two simple rules: First, no chain stores. I want to visit, bring business to, and review only Independent, small businesses. Second, no, knee-jerk angry bad reviews because I have ONE undesirable experience somewhere. There are far too many of those type of reviews online already.Today, I m breaking the first rule. but just Kinda.VIP Parts, Tires and Service is a 56 chain auto service company in New England. But it is an INDEPENDENT company. Besides I m thinking of relaxing rule one. I m giving the VIP in Brewer, Maine Four Stars today. ****.

People here came highly recommended from the guys at VIP Tires and Service in Ellsworth! My car was cranking but not starting ! They diagnose it step by step and found some wrong wiring and fixed it, not like the Midas people in Ellsworth who took me all the way to fuel pump change and drove my pay up to $1560 and probably wouldn't work :)) Thank you VIP in Brewer for beings honest and professionals!

These guys are awesome! I drive a Land Rover and asked for an oil change and inspection. I usually go to Rawcliff's in Hamden, the garage known for working on foreign and high performance cars. They found bolts loose on the differential, one was laying in the pan unconnected, and my air filter that was supposed to be replaced recently by that other garage nasty. They repaired it all and blew out the filter until I can get a new one, which they ordered for me. They took me to the garage to show me each thing! No extra charge! They taught me a lot and cared about my car and my safely. Thank you VIP for preventing a potentially deadly and car destroying episode. You rock! I'm a big fan.

They inspected and passed my 07 Honda Civic in April 2023. On January 20, 2024 informed me that the A-frames were rusted out. In his opinion, it should be taken off the road. That implies that the inspection was not done properly by a licensed mechanic who works there. I could report that to the state inspection unit and they might take their license to inspect. If it was rusted out in Texas all last month!

There aren t enough words to express the quality of service provided at this location. I was driving with my son to Bangor from our home to get him settled into his dorm with my husband following behind us in his vehicle, and we ran into some problems with my son s Jeep Liberty. I called this location at noon on Saturday once we had crossed into Maine, and I spoke to Jordan; he assured me that someone would be able to look at the Jeep when we arrived. From the moment we entered this location at 3pm that afternoon, we felt like we were in good hands. Jordan had Wes look at the Jeep, and he was able to immediately diagnose the problem and develop a solution for it. In under 30 minutes, the throttle body was placed. He also diagnosed another related issue with the accelerator. Not only did he fix that today for my son, but he also replaced the window control panel that had stopped working so that my son can once again open his windows. I am so relieved to know that even though my son is 8 hours from home, there are professionals at this location who are available to correct issues with a vehicle that other mechanics were not able to accurately diagnose. Thank you to Wes for treating my son like family and getting his vehicle back on the road so quickly. You ve made this mom feel a lot more comfortable with my son being far away from home with a vehicle that has been known to have its quirks ! Wes, my son couldn t wait to call me today to tell me how nice you were and how everything that was done was clearly explained, and to top it off, he said the Jeep has never run this smoothly! Thank you!!!

Ocr 2023 Update - STILL great folks! I dont know where t ey find their staff, but EVERY time i go in i get professional, courteous staff.Great Folks - Great Vet Discount! Just walked out with new tires and state inspection and these guys were great. Professional, pleasant and for being a veteran they gave 10% off and the state inspection free! This is my new garage!
