My husband and I had a wonderful 2 night stay. The location of the hotel is fantastic, scenic and close to restaurants and shopping. Our stay was definitely enhanced by the staff at the desk when checking in (male). We were disappointed to find out that we didn't have a view. He very quickly remedied the situation and was SO pleasant. Thank you.

This is a great option if you are staying in Boothbay Harbor! Our room was super clean and the bed was comfy. The hotel has a nautical theme throughout which is perfect in this setting. It s right on the water with lots of walkable things to do. You won t have to get in a car. I appreciated the upgraded room thanks to Ms. Tammy and the other woman at check-in. Two very sweet people

The best view in town with some excellent food. Definitely ask for a seat on the deck. Don't mind Gus the seagull. He's super polite, and has been there for a decade. Doesn't try to steal your food. Looking for a delicious drink? They make a painkiller better than anywhere I've ever seen. Prices are a little steep. The plate in the picture was $38.00 for a pretty small portion of seafood. Delicious though, so it's worth it. Very friendly staff too. Sometimes you can even get parking right out front.

We waited for over an hour for our dinner while those around us, who ordered thirty minutes after we had ordered, had their dinner served quickly. Our waitress apologized about the wait and explained how they were short staffed. She was unhappy working there and that she was on the verge of quitting. It felt quite unprofessional.Their food is overpriced for the quality. The Scallop Scampi was technically a Scallop Noodle Soup and the Ribeye dinner was not worth the $40 due to the 'grocery store' quality of the meat, three pieces of a asparagus, and the serving of sweet potato mash being larger that the rib eye itself.

Beware when you book. Booked a harbor view room at the Fisherman's Wharf. It is a building by itself with another unit in the building. Didn't realize it wasn't part of the motel, during the day they sell tickets from the building. When you walk in, there are pipes in the entrance way, the bathroom and bedroom. There is a window over the bed and the curtains hang way too long. The headboard is screwed to the wall, so you can't tuck them behind the bed & they hang right over your head. We were on the walkway, so you can hear people when they go by. Disappointing booking for sure - was still 159.99 a night plus taxes for a total of 174.39.Posted photos.

Hotel is right in the middle of Boothbay Harbor. An older hotel but very clean and well taken care of. Room was huge. We had a 2 queen bed room. We had a partial harbor view which we didn't realize had a big bush in front of us. If you want an unobstructed view ask for Harbor view (I also think it might cost a little more) They don't offer breakfast but do have coffee in the morning. There is a restaurant on site but was closed while they worked on it while we were there (June 2023). But I think it was opening soon. They do have designated parking spots for their rooms right there with an overflow lot if it gets full. Loved staying there and love Boothbay. Lots of restaurants to chose from and small shops to walk around and shop.

Not good this time. Room was terrible. So small, could hardly move in there. Bathroom was a one person at best. Very claustrophobic. Sink didn't work properly, kept stopping up. Never once had room cleaned. Had to ask for clean towels and toilet paper. Chairs on deck were all mildew. Room was not clean, clean. AC was like listening to a jet engine.Rooms: Room are old and dated. Our room was not real clean by any means. No housekeeping either.Walkability: Close to everything.Food & drinks: Lots of local eateries.

Great location, literally in the heart if boothbay harbor within walking distance to a lot of nice places. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Great suggestions for the perfect breakfast spot at blue moon cafe! Room was large and very clean. The bedding was very comfy, lots of extra towels available in the shower area! Only complaint was the front outside door was wiggly and loose and hard to unlock. Great view overlooking the water and city on a quiet patio on 3rd floor. Quiet surroundings, well kept and looks updated. We didn't get a chance to try out the restaurant or bar but it looked very nice.

Have stayed here many times over the past 6 years. Husband rides his bike from home to the hotel. Always a nice stay. Front desk staff is always friendly and helpful and Bill manages the parking like a pro!Rooms are clean and for the most part, quiet. (Hotel can't control the loud mouths who come in late and don't know how to keep their voices down). We always talk about staying somewhere else, but we love it here and the central location.See you again soon!

The food was just okay. The clam chowder was not good, you could taste the flour. Very disappointed. The waitress did not come back to check on us, I had to ask the bus boy for ketchup because the waitress forgot us.Food & drinks: I would not recommend

The food was delicious!! Yes it s a little pricy, but totally worth it. Our server was lovely as was all the staff. One of my daughters got the ribeye, one got the shrimp in butter and garlic and me and my other daughter got the baked haddock, and let me tell you that we cleaned our plates! So happy the server recommended the baked haddock, it was fantastic! We will definitely be back.

Right in the middle of town so location is perfect! Staff was helpful. No breakfast which isn't great and beds are hard. Bathroom is very small with no vanity so if you are the type with more than a tooth brush you will find it inconvenient. They do have in site parking which is nice and an onsite restaurant for lunch and dinner. They also have board games to borrow and the balcony is nice because you can hear the live music from across the way for free.

Friendly Staff. Small room. Nice view from semi-private balcony. Parking is the main issue. Was informed by staff that exclusive use by guests and diners ends at 6pm when the parking attendant s shift ends. After that anyone can park in the lot because policy is unenforceable. This resulted in having to park behind another car and leave keys at desk. If you are uncomfortable w this arrangement, suggest you look elsewhere

I define good customer service as customer satisfaction. We were assigned a pet friendly room even though one of us has an allergy to animals. They were inflexible in every way including waiving a cancellation fee or waiving an up charge to change the room. Suffice to say, my suggestion is never stay here!

We dined on 7/14/2021. The setting was bright with harbor views. Most of the group enjoyed their meals, some more than others. The grilled cheese platter was toasted nicely and one person enjoyed the lobster roll more than their own po-boy meal but it was still pretty good. The last diner had muscles and finished them all and seemed to be happy. Nice outing overall.

Great experience, every staff member we dealt with was friendly and helpful. Our room was clean, comfortable, well maintained and had amazing water views. Our dinners (beef tenderloin and stuffed haddock with lobster sauce) were perfectly prepared, nicely presented and delicious. Hostess was friendly, waitstaff was very attentive without being at all intrusive. We reallly enjoyed this place it shows every sign of being run by a caring, professional and knowledgeable staff. We'll definitely be coming back.

Nice hotel on the water. In town and close to most restaurants and shops. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Rooms are a bit older and tight, beds are comfy. Get a water view if possible. Reasonably priced for the stay.

Fishermans Wharf has been our Hotel of choice in Maine for 36 years. We always request and stay in the same room over the ocean with gorgeous views of the harbor. The Restaurant is nicely appointed overlooking the Harbor. Lunch and dinner are excellent but they do not serve breakfast at the moment. There are so many delightful areas to visit within a few miles and a variety of Boat trips leave from the harbor. We love Boothbay Harbor and Fishermans wharf.

While other decks in the area were loud and overcrowded for lunch, we were seated quickly in a quiet spot with the perfect view. Our server was friendly and helpful, and we were happy to see many of our favorite Maine brewers represented on the beer list. Everything on the menu looked uniquely delicious. We both ordered haddock, which was cooked perfectly and arrived hot. The food and the whole experience was so good, we'll definitely visit again soon.
