This is a great place to stay. The rooms are clean, the bed was super comfy. The view of the harbor from our room was beautiful and gets even better once you step a few feet outside to take in the entire harbor . There is a nice walking bridge across the harbor very close to the hotel that is good for taking pictures and getting you to the other side where there are more shops and restaurants. The big benefit being it saves you from trying to find parking. Lastly, the staff was very kind, helpful, and accommodating. We would stay here again for sure!

Very clean room. Staff is very friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Hotel has beautiful views and is walking distance to almost anything you could need. We planned on staying two nights but so peaceful we extended it for two more nights. We never moved our vehicle!!! We are definitely going back next year!!!Walkability: Walk over the new bridge into the quaint town with lots of shops. Restaurants. Scenic boat rides and much more!!

Everything advertised a resturant and breakfast. Neither are available. We were told they haven't offered it all summer because there is no cook. So beware when booking. Misleading, older rooms. Smells like mildew. View is the only thing it has going for it. They can clearly charge the price based on others in the area. But we CERTAINLY would of booked another room had we known there was no food or breakfast.

Let me start by saying the view was great. Paid extra for room that looked out towards the harbor. The Inn needs some major upgrades. Drop ceiling needs to go, bathroom needs to be replaced. Stained tile in bathroom, toilet is so low to the ground it felt like I was sitting on the floor. Outside needs paint badly and lots of visible rotten wood. No maid service is not acceptable when you pay over $300.00 per night. Last time there.Rooms: Rooms need to be upgraded

Room 225We reserved this hotel based on the breakfast that was supposed to be included. On every travel site, a free breakfast is advertised. Please change this if you are not going to offer it. It is obviously very misleading. Your guests think we are getting more value by staying with you. It is false advertising. We enjoyed the views but wish the footbridge was open. Had to drive to the other side and pay to park. I know the hotel has no control over this. Just overall disappointed in our first visit to Boothbay.

The room was clean and the main selling point, the view of the harbor, was stunning. The small balcony provided with 2 chairs made enjoying that view so easy. The screen door kept taking off when we tried to use the balcony door but it was easy enough to put back. The staff was extremely friendly and the continental breakfast had good offerings. They did have a bar where you can get a drink while sitting around a fire pit with a great view.

We totally enjoyed our stay here. Room was very clean and with plenty of towels and pillows. Bed was very comfy. Just one issue screen doors need some attention.Nearby activities: Shopping and cruise tours.Walkability: Can get to main st. by a foot bridge.

Everything was spotless, inside and out, meticulously maintained. The warmth and friendliness of the staff was just wonderful. They were short staffed, but it was clear guests are #1; no one would ever think they were short on staff It was especially nice to see the same people each day. Room was clean, comfortable and we were blessed to have a balcony on the harbor side - awesome views!

This was the first time we stayed here, our room had a great water front view, most of the staff was pleasant and accommodating.Breakfast was ok, it was better when their was a bus tour present.My only complaint was the ice machine on the first floor was broken and not sure for how long, but some of the staff was very gracious to take our ice bucket to the second floor to get us some ice, so thank you!!!The beds were very comfortable and the room was clean.

The location relative to the main part of town was great. The immediate area was ok. Our room was decent but a bit old and dated.I think it was a bit pricey for what it offered and for this time of year.The continental breakfast consisted mostly of prepackaged items although there was some whole fresh fruit. We ate elsewhere.Probably wouldn t stay there again.

The hotel is in a great location if you are visiting Boothbay Harbor. There are only a couple of dog friendly rooms so book well before your trip. Our room was ground floor close to the grass walking area. The hotel is on the older side and could use some updatng, but the rooms were clean and comfortable. There is a mini fridge, microwave, coffeemaker and large TV. Plenty of outlets for charging electronics. The included breakfast was nice on two of the days and limited on our last day as they were getting ready to close for the season. The hotel is located near a walking bridge across the inlet directly to town which is very convenient. My Mom was with us and she had a nice disability room in another building. I recommend this hotel for you and your pet.

Love, love, love this place. It's an older hotel but very clean and reasonably priced. Beautiful view of sunset in the bay. Staff was very friendly. Connor was great! They even emailed me a thank you for staying with them!

Something was left in the refrigerator[liquor that I put in the trash]. Bathroom had hair in the tub, hair on the floor and on the back of the toilet ,hair was brown and my is grey. You had to ask for towels and make your beds. The ice bucket had water in it from the people before. The only good thing was we were on the harbor side. It was not worth the money that we paid.

We enjoyed our stay so much looking across the Harbor and such lovely sunsets each evening with fire pit and great place to meet new friends and share our travels. The Inn is well preserved and so cleanwith nice amenities and easy walk over to the lovely town for all our entertainment fun shopping , dining, and boating. Great place to stay!

The place is a broken down outdated dump. Overpriced Motel 6. Broken window shades, ceiling tiles are something you would put in a basement, bathroom fixtures need updating as well as the furniture. The grounds are a mess and outside seating is low budget and plastic.The only reason we stayed here is because it is pet friendly but would never come back.

The Front desk staff are friendly and helpful. We had a room on the second floor facing the water with beautiful harbor views. Room was clean. Complimentary breakfast was OK. If your hotel room deck slider was open and you opened the door to the hallway the ceiling tiles above the bed would pop out of their tracks and expose pipes. Fortunately my husband is tall and could reach up to put them back in place.

The close proximity to the local shops is great but the inn is just ok. The rooms were extremely dated and had a odd musty odor to them (if you have allergies definitely bring allergy meds). Mattresses were very ridged and uncomfortable. Breakfast was just packaged pastry items and no hot items. The breakfast was probably due to covid but still not great for having to pay $20 extra if you have more than 2 people per room. Overall if you are looking for location and proximity to the shops there's nothing better but everything else was just ok.

The guy who checked us in was friendly and informative. Our room was clean and roomy, including the bathroom. The furniture was in good condition and the bed pretty comfortable. There's a microwave, fridge, iron and Kuerig machine. The location is good because it's at the end of the foot bridge that crosses the harbor, which leads to the downtown area with the shops and restaurants. Pretty, pretty views. Fun to watch the coming and goings from the upper porch outside of room 233. Not all rooms have a view this good. A pool would be nice.

Rustic! That mid-80s charm! :-)Beautiful location right at the base of the footbridge. Had a nice stroll around 11pm. Enjoyable.It was very nice and clean, so about what you'd expect. I expect clean, and I was not disappointed.... not immaculate, but... it was fine.

A absolute treasure of an inn. Sleep well and enjoyed our stay. Beautiful sitting room and breakfast was good. The view from our patio was stunning... right at the foot bridge. Will come back for sure.
