Awesome place!!!! Very cozy, clean rooms with great amenities. Owner and staff are awesome. The breakfast nook is a life saver, bagels, coffee, cereal. Well stocked. I will be coming back.Edit: forgot to mention, the showers are SO NICE. Water pressure and temperature is so good. You can basically make a sauna in there. So great.

Stayed with my daughter for weekend skiing at nearby Sunday River. Owner was helpful when I called ahead of my visit . Very satisfied with this motel - room was very clean, well appointed with TV, fridge / freezer, microwave, toiletries etc and nicely furnished. Had more modern, contemporary feel than the typical drab and dated motel. Ample parking, negligible road noise, good proximity to skiing and downtown Bethel. Provided simple breakfast - coffee, bagels, muffins etc. Laundry available in motel. Priced fairly.

We're super pleased with our stay at the West Bethel Motel! We arrived pretty late in the evening and the motel manager was nonetheless very accommodating. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable (including the bed). Water pressure and temperature in the shower was excellent. Wish we could have stayed longer and will definitely be returning on future getaways.

We pulled in at 815 pm and the owner was so helpful and kind. Raced into town to grab a burger at Butcher Burger before it closed at 9, thanks to his recommendation. Room was clean, in a very well kept motel. There s a cute little annex with coffee and a shared kitchen. Bed was soft, so depending on your preference that may be a pro or a con. A lovely stop on our road trip.

So we stopped over on the way to maine from Vermont, this meant we were just about half way...Seriously though, great little hotel, great owner/manager that clearly cares about the place. First thing my wife said was "It's Clean" which is almost never uttered by her when we go to hotels. Personally I thought this was the best hotel bed I have ever slept in, and that I mean sincerely.

I had been reading and hearing about fraudulent credit card charges and unscrupulous business practices from West Bethel Motel for months. I really should not have been surprised when my credit card company informed me of unusual activity on one of my cards that I used for the room I rented long-term, April 29-October 31 since several times since I arrived, I have had to have excessive charges credited back and the proper, much lower amount, charged to my card. Nothing however could have prepared me for being informed West Bethel Motel made multiple charges to my card Tuesday, September 26, 2 charges, and Wednesday September 27, 2023, 1 charge totaling nearly $5,000 in addition to charging me double the agreed $440 on September 15. My weekly rent on the room was set at $440 and I pay that in advance each week on Friday afternoon. I have reported the fraud to police and have cancelled the card numbers used at this establishment, the one charged the nearly $5,000 over September 26 and 27, and another I believe I previously used there but so far has not been hit. When I first went there I instructed the owner and his staff to NOT keep my card information on file. It became almost immediately obvious they do keep numbers and other information on file that they should not, that every reputable credit card processor tells its clients not to keep as this is so subject to hacking and abuse. If you have put in a reservation with West Bethel Motel or have used a credit card when staying there since the current owner took over in December of 2022, watch your statements carefully at the very least and for your protection, contact your card company and report your card has been compromised and request a new card with a new number. Yes I know going 7-10 days while waiting for the new cared without an active card is a pain but getting ripped off for thousands of dollars is far worse. Subscribing to alerts is also a good idea.I also moved out of West Bethel Motel very early this morning. Had enough.Pastor Candice, Ark of Mercy Ministries, and Andouille, Trail Angels and Shuttle Service

The owner is more than accommodating. I requested a small rotating fan and he supplied. He gave us a later check in time, and kept very well in touch. The showers are brand new, and you can t hear any of the neighbors. The parking lot was plowed immediately and they have a great community kitchen with snacks and coffee. Couldn t recommend this place more!

Such a quaint adorable motel. We stayed here over Memorial Day weekend for my sister's wedding and it was lovely. The staff who checked us in were so kind and the room we stayed in was charming and well appointed (fridge, microwave) and there was a nice annex with complimentary coffee, tea, cocoa, vending machines, and laundry facilities. I really enjoyed the charm. Motels can be hit or miss but this one is definitely a hit! My only complaint is that the outside lights are on at all times and the curtains didn't quite block the light, nothing an eye mask wouldn't fix though! We were in room one, which I don't think is updated but I found it quaint and rustic which was very calming.

We came here after staying in a Motel 6, and let me tell you, the difference in quality is CLEAR.Finally, a Motel that doesn t smell like cigarettes!! Very comfortable beds and pillows, clean for a low cost motel, and felt homey. The floors weren t sticky and dirty like the place we d just left. The fridge in our room was larger than any other hotel/motel mini fridge I ve had. It was perfect for getting groceries and eating in the room. The grounds are maintained and clean with picnic tables and grass. My only complaint would be noise from the other rooms. You can hear people pretty easily. The walls are very thin. However, the price is very reasonable and with the addition of the annex on site holding a full kitchen and laundry, it s a great place to lay your head. I d definitely recommend it!

This motel was perfect for what we were looking for. We stayed here to go skiing at Sunday River, it was a short drive away. The rooms were cozy and had what we needed at a reasonable price. The owners are phenomenal and take pride in what they offer guests. We loved the fully stocked kitchen and coffee bar. It was perfect for cooking a meal for the family if you don't want to eat out all of the time. We will be back. It is a hidden gem!

We stayed at the motel for one night and enjoyed our stay. The hotel is an easy, quick drive from Sunday River which is exactly what we needed. The rooms were clean and cozy and the owner is super friendly and accommodating. He gave us great restaurant recommendations for dinner and let us know to call at anytime if we needed anything. The room didn t have a blow dryer but as soon as we called the front desk they were able to provide us with one. We would love to stay here again, thanks for the wonderful hospitality!

Great Motel! Comfortable memory foam topper beds with 2 comfortable regular pillows and 1 memory foam pillow on each bed. Room came with a medium sized fridge and microwave. The sink was separate from the bathroom which was nice for us ladies! There is a room called the "Annex" where you can get free coffee (Victor brand, my favorite) and tea from a Keuirg in the morning. There is also a stove, toaster, fridge, and 3 tables. Great staff with 24 hour assistance. Highly recommend and will stay here again!!

Very clean and tons of nice touches. No cigarette smells at all which is a big Yay for me. They had a special dark washcloth for make-up removal, washer, dryer, embroidered cotton curtains, sturdy coat rack behind the door, plenty of towels, big dresser, pillow top mattress,, Kurig machine, and on and on. The owners are thoughtful and nice, and even gave us a memento mug with the hotel logo.

Beautiful area. Motel was very accomodating. Restful, peaceful night. The Annex has everything you would need for an extended stay with your own provisions. Full kitchen, dinning area. Free coffee and hot chocolate. We recommend West Bethel Motel highly.

This pet friendly motel is many steps above the rest! Super clean, quiet, comfortable beds, and very nice reasonably priced rooms!! They have laundry on site and very affordable vending machines(haven't seen a soda or candy bar for $.75 since the 80's!!)They also have a full eat in kitchen for guests to use, and of course complimentary coffee and hot chocolate!! They work very hard to keep the premises clean and inviting, I think the only time I did not see the owners running around working and cleaning was when I was sleeping. I would definitely recommend The West Bethel Motel to anyone who might be coming to this area!!

I stayed here with my mom for a local wedding and this was the perfect spot! The rooms were clean and very comfortable. We actually want to take a bed home! Haha :) there s also an annex nearby with a full kitchen and complimentary Keurig. Each room has a mini fridge and microwave (not all hotel rooms have this!). Our stay was quiet, clean, and very comfortable and we would absolutely recommend this spot to anyone needing to stay in the Bethe

Perfect mid-way point from our drive from the Maine Coast to Montreal. So we booked this motel for the night to rest. It has all the basics you need, a place to sleep for the night and a place to shower and wash up. It s not fancy, but it was all we needed. I later discovered they had laundry services. I wish they had included this in their list of amenities. Otherwise we wouldn t have made an extra stop to do our laundry. The only complaint I had were their shower curtains... not sure what they re made of, but I would have appreciated something that was completely water resistance to not have produced a funky perhaps damp smell. Seems like the curtain was water absorbent enough to do that. The person at the front desk was nice and they do have WiFi. The room we had were pretty small, a little on the cramp side. But like I said, we were just looking for a decent place to crash at for one night, and this was perfect.

VERY clean motel; we arrived early and were able to check-in and pick up key. This gave us the freedom to roam on our schedule and not worry about disturbing owner after hotel office was closed for the evening. Room was very clean and comfortable; bed was nice & firm with attractive coverlet (not the usual gaudy hotel bedding). Room had fridge and microwave; no coffee pot, but free coffee in office when open and great diner a short distance away. Large plug hair dryer did not fit in outlet above mirror in bathroom, but outlet in bedroom perfectly placed for drying hair. WiFi was immediate access (password is given to you during check-in process) and remained fast. Did not try medium size flat screen TV, but assume it worked. Overall, a very positive experience; I would highly recommend this property to anyone that wants a clean, quiet comfortable room with very pleasant and helpful staff. We are already planning return trip later on this Fall for additional hiking outings.

One of the best little motels I have ever stayed. Owners are kind and very helpful. Rooms are updated and clean. Wish there were more motels like this around. Unfortunately cannot snowmobile from motel currently. Owners are trying to work on that. There are several places to park trailer and ride sleds from parking lot. Definitely would stay again.
