I have always had a great experience at the Bath VIP! I brought my car in for an oil change and tire rotation. We discussed having a complete oil system clean and he was willing to look up when I needed my spark plugs changed. Scheduled my spark plugs in two weeks! I highly recommend bringing your vehicle to bath VIP if I could rate them ten stars I would!

I ve always had a great experience at the VIP in Bath. Rich is a friendly guy who will learn your name and I ve always felt good about taking my car here over the past five years. The workmanship is great and I ve taken my car here for everything from routine oil changes, replacement struts, muffler replacements and new tires. Recommended.

Bath VIP is a friendly and reliable place to get your car serviced. Richard the manager is pleasant, friendly, and will schedule service as fast as he can. They don't talk down to you because you are a woman and their prices are fair. I always bring my car there.

I will ALWAYS take my car to the Bath VIP.I trust their input with my car needs 100%. They have clear and concise communication. The turnaround time has always been on point.Like mentioned by another-Richard is always there greeting me by name. That little gesture really goes a long way. It makes a customer feel important the moment they walk in.6 stars!

Richard Bowen is a superb manager. He knows my name and warmly greets me when I come into the store. How often does that happen?Last week I discovered that my car's inspection was going to expire. I called and he got me in to have it checked out. I was surprised when there was no charge because I was a veteran. The next week I called with a problem with my truck's brakes. He got me in the next day and repaired the brakes for the price he originally provided in the estimate. Throughout the process he kept me up to speed on how the repair was progressing. I could not ask for more from a car-care facility. Richard ensures that his store provides 5 star service!

Terrible experiences here. Had my car serviced a couple days ago for an alignment along with replacing 2 tires. Got my car on the lift and they called me notifying me my left tie rod needed to be replaced and said the alignment would be pointless if I didn't. Funny because I had replaced my tie rod within the year. Needed my car this weekend (which they knew) so I stupidly told them to go ahead but save the old tie rod so I could show my mechanic. To make a long story short, I never got the old tie rod ($140) and a pair of brand new shoes and headphones were stolen from my car ($300). VIP has not offered me anything to remedy the situation. DO NOT BRING YOUR CAR HERE UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET RIPPED OFF.

I Had to change my appointment date last minute. No problem at all ! My brakes were squeaking and expected a big bill !? Turns out one backing plate was rubbing on the rotor and my brakes were fine ! They pulled the backing plate away from the rotor and all is well just charged me for the rear wiper blade I had requested ! $24.00 bill !! Service: Auto brake repair

I had my girlfriends tires replaced and an alignment done here. First off they had to re-schedule because they were too far behind. No call just told when she arrived. Then they tried to do it again and said that will take about 6 hours for 4 tires AND an alignment now a month or so later and the front tires are low so I told her to bring it back. They said it was because she didn t have premium air. Brand new tires should not be losing air, period. Charged her another $150 on top of the $1500 I spent on the tires and alignment. Never go here, especially if you re a woman with little vehicle knowledge.Services: Wheel alignment, Auto tire replacement

I have all my car services at VIP Bath Maine. Richard the service manager is the biggest reason. Always a straight shooter!

They mounted up some camper tires for me on a Saturday and because of that I was able to get back to NH on Sunday. They seemed short handed but still got it done for me. Richard was very professional and friendly. If I could hire him at my dealership I would! Thank you for the great service!

I made a 2:00PM appointment for an inspection sticker. Arrived five minutes early and was told it would take at least two hours. What kind of business treats customers like that? The answer is ones I will NOT do business with . Gone to their competition ..for ever!

Old fashioned customer service - fantastic experience! Richard literally salvaged my weekend. I HAD to pull my boat out of the water today and one of the old trailer tires blew out while being inflated. I went in to VIP and Richard said his technician was out and since it was Saturday, no local shop was open that could fix a flat. Then he asked a few questions, determined it was likely just a valve stem, and he fixed it for me on the spot. Didn't even charge me! Great customer service! Thanks, Richard!Service: Tires

This location has been servicing my vehicle (and now my husband s) for at least 8 years. It s always a pleasure to have my tires swapped, since Richard and Ian are a delight to deal with and I m always impressed that Richard recognizes me when I pop by twice a year.I have had VIP do oil changes/break replacement/diagnostic work over the years and have always found them fair, kind, and helpful.The gentleman in the service area have always been kind and polite, though I don t see any of them enough to have learned their names.As a female, I ve had my share of unfortunate experiences with auto shops, and I m grateful to have found this business in my hometown.Thanks for all your hard work!Services: Tires, General repairs & maintenance, Auto engine diagnostic

I have been a customer of the Bath Vip for over 20 years. I have developed a trusting relationship with Richard Bowen over that time. His commitment to all his customers is readily apparent by all his interactions with them. He is always courteous and kind no matter how busy the shop is. He is an outstanding service writer and sometimes a skilled technician. I have trusted him with my last three vehicles, and I hope that he is around long enough that I can bring him a few more. i trust him and that is a rare thing in the auto service world today. I thank him and also Ian Hout for their outstanding help.

My wife and I have been coming here for years. Richard is hands down THE BEST service manager! This man knows his stuff. Richard and his team of mechanics are always friendly and well put together. A few weeks ago My wife had to stop at another VIP (I won t embarrass them by saying which one) but let s just say my wife wasn t buying what they were saying and felt super uncomfortable there. She called me and we got her vehicle home. The next week I brought it to Bath. The Problem was fixed and not only was it a lot less involved then we were previously told but it was fair in price. That is why I am writing this review. You can teach anyone to be a manager but only a few are good at it. Thank you!

These guys blatantly charge women more for service, tried to get tires on a relative s car and were asking a lot, when I had them read off their quote to me it literally did not add up to what they were asking by almost $500, so I ordered tires online when we dropped the car off they said they wouldn t put the tires on

They did a tire balance, rotation, alignment, oil change, inspection for a sticker, paying extra attention to the brakes and suspension. I wanted to know why does my vehicle have a metal dragging squeak sound.They did the sticker, didn't see anything wrong with brakes or suspension, and they didn't figure out the sound. They did the balance, rotation, and alignment, their must be another reason for it not going down the road well. They did the oil change, but not with synthetic. They removed the previous oil sticker that had the information. Hope that doesn't cause a problem. $220 later and they did a sticker and the bare minimum pretty quickly.

We left a trusted mechanic of 10+ yrs when we moved to Bath 3 yrs ago and were apprehensive to find a new one. We tried Bath VIP and are very pleased with them. I really Appreciate the workers and the quality of work the VIP, Bath does on my vehicle. I call to make an appointment or call because I have a problem with my vehicle, Ian and Richard always get me in ASAP! They do the work most times under the estimated price! Always courteous and very informed about the vehicles! And the mechanics in the back are excellent! If they find a problem , they come out and explain what they have found. They will often take me out and show me the issue. Always courteous and give me a time and cost estimate! I have been using Bath VIP now for 5 years! And I Highly recommend them!!

Not sure how to feel about our experience here. Made an appointment 12/18 for Inspection couldn t get us in till 1/02 that s fine. Day of the appointment got told car wouldn t pass inspection if we don t get something with valves and gaskets done, however VIP didn t know what the exact problem was. Brought it in Wednesday to get fixed estimates $200. Then somehow lots of parts become involved that they don t have so had to be left overnight and will be done the next day. Bill went from a $12 inspection to $200 mystery, next > $700 for all the parts, labor, diagnostics ect. Still feel very much left in the dark as to what the issue was. I m not a car person I ll give you that but I ve never seen oil leaking (that s what the problem seems to be? Something with oil?) didn t think that valves and gaskets would pass or fail an inspection. Luckily they were nice and didn t have us pay for second. Had to wait another day to get the car due to it being ready while both of us were at work. Finally got it and paid for but when there they forgot to inspect it again so we could get the sticker and while leaving check engine light came on. Got it fixed and still have to go back for one more part/repair the following week that we still feel left in the dark about. Overall the workers were polite and nice, kept our car inside due to the snow which meant a lot to us! Again don t know how to feel completely, we are not from Maine and need to get the inspection quick, figured we d give it a shot. Not bad but might find better pricing and someone to be able to walk you through the problem at a mom and pop mechanic. Not horrible just not 100% satisfied, again felt left in the dark.

I've always had a great experience here. The staff is professional and transparent having used their services a number of times over the course of the last several years: both routine work like oil changes, as well as more technical engine work that a standard "jiffy-lube" garage can't. I was very happy with the service that I received at VIP. The sales rep was very friendly and courteous and explained everything to me in detail. The mechanic who install the tires did a great job and the tires ride very quiet and smooth. I would recommend VIP to anyone. I went to several other dealers and that size tire had to be ordered. VIP had them in stock so I didn't have to wait. I was in and out of there an hour and a half.

This is a great place with awesome customer service! My wife and I were in town from northern Virginia for our anniversary when I noticed our rear tires were in terrible condition! We needed to get them replaced for our 12+ hour drive home the next day. They got us in and took care of everything no questions asked! In and out!!! I wish I lived in the area so this could be my tire store. Front counter guys were so helpful and treated us great! Happy to give them my service!
