Warm welcome, great service and very pleasant location, very close to the Acadia National Park, restaurants and shops. We stayed 4 nights in a suite with 2 bedrooms and a living room.I recommend the place as advised in the French Michelin Guide! Thanks to all the staff for the great time we had during the winter storm.

Great location in central Bar Harbour, but seriously let down by the front desk staff who couldn't care less. At check-in, at breakfast and at check-out the staff were unfriendly, unhelpful and disinterested.Be aware the 'complimentary bicycles' that are advertised on their website are aren't available all year - only in the summer. Our room was clean and we appreciated the daily service, which most hotels seem to have stopped doing.

Great location to downtown. Parking is tight and limited. Our 2 bedroom suite was nice. The living room wasn't set up very well. Would be difficult for more than two people to watch TV. in the living room. Plus was each bedroom had a TV. Coffee and light breakfast offered. You can order a omelet, bring cash to tip the cook. Cafe This Way also has a great breakfast spot next door and recommend checking them out. Staff could be friendlier. Most small hotel staff say Good Morning etc. They seem indifferent. Lastly check out 10 am. Overall recommend for location.

Enjoyed our stay at the Acadia hotel. It s a great central location walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. It s a quick drive to Acadia National Park. The Suite was nice and very clean. However, it was located on the 4th floor and the elevator only went to the 3rd floor. Although we called and asked if there was elevator access to the suite, that detail was omitted by the staff person answering our call and question and ultimately we were forced to carry our luggage up a flight of stairs. And Unfortunately, one particular service person (working the breakfast bar) appeared to be unhappy about preparing omelettes for guests that arrived after 9am. Often this person seemed to shake or purposefully moved the tip jar for any attention . To was quite obvious and uncomfortable to say the least. As for the other staff members- they smiled as they saw us entering the building.

Enjoyed our stay at the Acadia hotel. It s a great central location walking distance to all the shops and restaurants. It s a quick drive to Acadia National Park. The staff was super kind, friendly and helpful. They still clean your room every day which is awesome given that most hotels have quit doing this. When we return to Bar Harbor will definitely look at staying here again.

We stayed 3 nights in Bar harbor at The Acadia Hotel and it was the perfect location . Such a beautiful quaint hotel within walking distance of great shopping and the best dining . Loved the breakfast and the 24/7 coffee / tea bar . Staff was so kind . Highly recommend for your stay .Nearby activities: Very close to the ocean . We took a day boat cruise and saw Porpoises and bald eagles .

This was the cutest hotel I've stayed at in a long time, and they had pretty much everything anyone could have needed. I'm a Hilton diamond member, but I enjoyed staying at this hotel more than some Hilton locations. The decor is darling, breakfast each morning was nice and simple (great muffins!), and the staff was friendly. They really thought of pretty much everything when it comes to amenities. The hot tubs outside are fantastic, there's a gym downstairs, they have hiking gear, board games, and even post cards in the lobby. This hotel is also positioned really well downtown. It's amongst all the shops, and just a stone's throw from the ocean walk pathway. The character here is great, and the price wasn't bad either.Food & drinks: Breakfast options included cereals, yogurt, granola, oatmeal, muffins, bagels, breads, juices, milk, tea, coffee (hot and iced). They also hot local beers and wines to buy.

Very quaint hotel with great vibe and great location. Nas was the best in helping us get settled and giving recommendations around town. A must book when in bar harbor. Great homey gym as well. Only minor gripe is that you hear everything that goes on in the street. Need blackout curtains as wellNearby activities: Close to shops

Absolutely loved this hotel! Such a great location! The rooms were modern and comfortable. We loved the amenities they offered- bikes to borrow, hot tub, games/puzzles to borrow, breakfast, ice water, hiking gear to borrow, and wrap around balconies with heaters and chairs. This hotel gave us a warm and welcoming feeling. Would definitely recommend it to anyone.

Overall a great location and an interesting hotel. Stayed 2 nights. The room was small, but the bed was comfortable and the comforter was big and soft. However, it smelled like grandma's house and the work done to convert it looked like a home repair job. Flooring unfinished, paint was peeling, the chair was leather and had been torn up a bit, the grout and tile work around the tub/shower was shoddy, etc, etc.All together, it was fine, but not the super nice boutique hotel that the website and other reviews might make you believe.

The location is so perfect, right off of the Village Green and just a short walk to restaurants shops, and the pier. My husband and I were able to catch the shuttle there each day to different parts of the island and hiking trails. (Free shuttle service during the summer months!) It rained and was chilly each day, but we could still sit outside on the beautiful, covered porch at night which had some heating lamps to keep us warm. It was also wonderful to start off each morning with a delicious breakfast in the adorable main room. Everyone was so friendly!
