After an unfortunate series of events lol I found myself here with a bent rim and needing a fast repair. Tony was great!! He was super helpful, even going as far as to give me other places to call to see if they could give me a more affordable alternative, but there were none to be had in a timely manner. He was able to call up Toyota and have them deliver a new rim to his shop pretty quickly. He had me back on the road in record time under the circumstances. From start to finish I think it was less than 2 1/2 hours and that included the time we took to brainstorm alternative repairs. Very thankful that he took the time out of his busy day to make sure I was taken care of. Thanks again Tony!!

We bring our car here for everything from small things like an inspection or top off the fluids to brakes and tires. Tony is awesome and explains things well as are the mechanics, we had Mitch. We were there on 8/10/23 for front brakes and a battery in and out in less than 2 hours. No wonder they are busy. Excellent work by all.

5 stars are not enough to rate westgate! They are very awesome team. Tony is a one in a million mechanic that is very honest and helpful. I went to their shop to diagnose if my car has a bad O2 Sensors. Tony offered to do it for free! A day before that I was in another service center near my area and the guy will charged me 146 per hour for diagnostic alone and quoted around 400 to 500 if there are sensors that needs to be replaced. I refused and thought I would rather drive an extra miles to reach Westgate than paying a seemingly overcharged service! If you look for a dependable mechanics in Bangor, definitely go to Westgate!Service: Auto engine diagnostic

Tony the Manager was really nice, they communicate so well and this was a better quote compared to Midas. They took care of our car so fast too! He really wanted to help us get our car back in the road. Thank you guys for that awesome job and from now on you will be our preferred one. Even tho I hope we don t come back for a while lol

I went to Westgate Auto about 20min before they closed unknowing that they changed their business hours. Tony fit me right in and did my vehicle inspection quickly and efficiently, even though it was the end of their day. I really appreciate them getting me in and out and they were so friendly. First of all.. all other garages in the area wouldn t even give my girlfriend and I the time of day. The gentleman who runs this facility has to be the kindest, most compassionate and thorough person in the automotive industry I have ever had an encounter with.He was able to get us in on a Tuesday morning, able to diagnose the issue and had it all repaired for us the next morning. Also, when going over the cost of what the repair would take - his word was true the next day and did not charge us a cent more for his time.Hats off to you, Westgate! Had a very good overall experience with this service center, even being a woman they treated me with respect and didn t try any funny business. Went in with my boyfriend and they didn t just talk to him, they made sure both of us knew what was going on. My check engine light came on and we called about 10 other car shops, couldn t even be seen for 1-2 weeks, but Westgate was able to get us in that morning, without an appointment. Only took them a couple hours and they called, explained the problem, how much it would cost, and even showed us what was going on with the transmission when we came back. Left the car overnight because they had to order a part, and Westgate had it finished by 10am the next morning! They ended up charging me the exact amount they quoted, $277, and my check engine light was off, car running much more smoothly. Very satisfied with this car shop, owner is incredibly kind, and I definitely felt comfortable as a woman the entire time. Highly recommend this service center!

Its always good to find one good mechanic, but finding two both named Mitch is great! The Mitch s will take care of you and do so quickly.

Biggest thing I can say is honesty! Maybe a little on the pricier side of things but at least you know that when you walk in, also you get what you pay for. These guys are honest, thorough, and patient!

Young females beware. I called them to fix my car after having three people recommend them when I was visiting Bangor. What should have costed maybe $600 (have had this type of work done in Waterville twice) was $1000. Not only that, they did not make it inspection ready and only fixed the passenger side of my car. I was charged for both sets of rotors and only one set was installed. THEY ALSO DID THE WORK WITHOUT GIVING ME AN ESTIMATE FIRST. They called and said hey we did it, just so you know it s $1000 which is highly illegal (as stated by my son s grandfather who literally is in charge of state inspections through the state police) I wish I would have taken legal action but this happened in June, and I did not feel like I could stand up for myself. Do not go here. I would rate it -10 if I could. Thanks Westgate for the future car service PTSD, pay for my therapy.

I never take the time to write reviews for businesses, but I had such a great experience here, I have to write one! Last week my Avalon started acting up with a check engine light flashing. Before going to Westgate, I had tried another service center. My car ended up staying there for three days with nothing found. Westgate was recommended by a coworker to me. I called them, and they were able to squeeze me in the very next day. I dropped the car off at 9, picked it up at noon all fixed. He called me twice keep me in the loop. One of my huge pet peeves with car care is when you wait all day, and then call, only to find out that the work was completed hours ago... but I didn't have to worry about that here. Tony was very nice and personable. I will definitely be back!

Very friendly and able to do my car inspection without an appointment - thank you! I overheard conversation with other clients that leads me to believe they are quite competent and not out to rip you off. For now, my go-to place for vehicle work.

Brought my vehicle to get inspected, I only waited about 2 minutes for them to bring my vehicle in and the inspection took about 10. Because of covid-19 no customers were allowed inside so they had placed a chair with a seat warmer on it under the canopy because it was chilly that day. They were extremely professional and very polite people I would recommend them to anyone

I brought my daughters car here to get her back breaks done. It was last minute, and they worked things around to get her car in the day I called! They were extremely nice and professional, and even tho they were busy, they worked thru their lunch break to get my daughters car done that day!! Tony the mechanic is a very caring person and always listens to what you say about what's wrong with your vehicle he always offers suggestions that does not cost every dime you have. he is very willing to help all customers it's a very nice place to go to have your car or truck or any vehicle worked on I think everyone should give Westgate service center a chance!! Trust me you will be very glad you did and you will go back again and again!

Great mechanic. Cheap abd does it right the first time. Dosent do anything he dosent have to. Hes a regular guy and knows what its like to be a normal person who just wants their car fixed! I'll always take my car here! My whole family does!

Finally I found a decent trustworthy mechanic who knows his stuff. He does his best to find reasonable prices for parts. Tony Martin #1 in my book!I like the fact too that when he checks your vehicle before he works on it comes discussion the options. Westgate Service Center #1 in my book!!!

Always a good experience at a not so great time, and tony I trust. Most mechanics I do not. He really cares about making you safe, fixing your car, and not trying to inflate the bill by adding unnecessary things to the list.

These Mechanics took the time to look at my car and also explain everything so I was left with no surprises! I am happy with the work that was provided and the kind and friendly faces! These guys are now my go to place if an issue arises with my car! Thank you guys for your time and hard work!

We have always been able to get in ASAP.......We think Tony is a hard worker with a great manner with working with the public........He knows his "stuff" and goes the extra step to help customers. The customer service here is amazing! I just had my state inspection done but they got me in on my lunch break and they were fast and even had a heated seat for me to sit on while I waited!
