Went in for brakes on my Nissan, and the people at the counter we're very friendly and knowledgeable. The shop inspected my brakes and we're able to advise me on what had to be taken care of right away and what could wait. Cost we're reasonable and they did very good work, fast. I will be bringing all my cars there for maintenance from now on.

Midas has worked on two of our family cars now. Both had sensor issues and needed other repairs which were resolved in a timely fashion at a reasonable cost. Jason and Katelyn at Midas kept me informed by phone about what was needed and the associated costs so I could decide what work I wanted them to do. I appreciated the good work that was completed and the communication. Both cars are running well. Thank you, Midas!

We have used Midas over the years and have always been happy with their work and service. Today we had work done and the customer service was so outstanding I want to take the time to say thank you again.I watched several staff members provide above and beyond customer service as I waited for my car. It often seems making the customer happy as a goal for businesses to try for has become a thing of the past. Midas-Union St has not forgotten. The service is fantastic. The work done well and fairly priced. What more can one ask for?

Today 8/26/23 my left CV Axle was making noise. Called this repair shop and although on weekends you need an appt because they only have limited staff. They offered t take a look at my minivan anyway. They were able able get the parts and are now working on the van. Explained to them that I was desperate as I'm only driving tithroughg the town and instead of taking avatager of the situation they helped me. Great Peopk�!.The woman that takes care of the front desk is AWESOME . She is knowledgeable about cars and AND I found out she even drives a STICK SHIFT!So as im sitting at mcdonalds down the block i see my car being driven past. It was BEING test driven. I am just thoiroughly IMPRESSED. More power to this honest business. We need more reliable professional businesses like these. Please continue to support them to ensure they stay around!

We came in late afternoon having had both rear brake lines suddenly trash! They made room in the bookings to hoist our car up and 'take a look'. They had the parts needed! They gave us a loaner car - for free! - so we could drive the hour home! The shop fixed everything wonderfully, and had it ready for us to pick up next day. SUPER Place!!Highly recommended!! - Good Business!!

I don t think I ve ever been so happy in my life to get a bill for $300 for work done on my car. I went to see Jason at Midas Muffler in Bangor Maine. I told him I had gone to another car repair shop for my Dodge Durango because I had a check engine light on that had a code PO128 and this other shop told me I needed a thermostat which they replaced but I ended up having additional overheating problems within 30 days of that work being done. I brought it back to that shop and they told me that my Dodge Durango needed the oil filter housing replaced which it did and they replaced it. Then I got a phone call that said I ve got good news and bad news. The good news is we replaced the oil filter housing and that looks fine but the bad news is you have blown head gaskets and they wanted to charge me $4200 to fix the heads. I went to Midas in Bangor, and explained the situation to Jason I asked him to give me a quote on fixing the heads, and his quote was about the same amount of money to fix the heads. Jason said he d have his technicians look the vehicle over do a block test and determine exactly what the problem is. Jason s team looked the vehicle over and determined that the problem was a defective thermostat and all it needed was a new thermostat. To say the least this was the best news I ve ever heard I was totally expecting him to confirm what the other shop had said. How blessed I felt that I had come to Midas for a second opinion, but more than that Jason and his team are Competent mechanics who know what they re doing and got to the root of the problem and were honest and only charged me for what was broken. They could ve so easily sold me an engine job, and I wouldn t have known that it was only a defective thermostat. Let me tell you I am not one that ever writes a review for anybody, but I had to make an exception in this case, because Jason restored my faith in humanity!Great work Jason!Thanks, Craig G.

If they did it for free I d give it a 6th star .but since they didn t I ll just say they did an amazingly fast and high quality job. As good as 5 stars can get. If you re from Bangor and you need excellent friendly service .think Midas by the airport.

I was going to give four stars because they are a bit more expensive than other places I usually go. I went with five stars though, because despite being a bit more expensive, they are very thorough and very transparent. I do not feel like I'm getting taken for a ride there. Other places I go have told me things needed replaced when they didn't, etc. The staff was very friendly and patient. I'll be going back.

I had an amazing experience at Midas in Bangor. They did a perfect job on my car and even fixed things I didn't realize were broken. They even sent me photos of what needed to be fixed first. They did a full inspection. Jason the manager went above and beyond to help me. I would highly recommend going to Midas. They are very nice, professional, and honest. They even allowed me to borrow a loaner car over night. 5 stars.

Always excellent service! Friendly people & love that they check in with texts occasionally to see how your visit went, or if you need anything. They also gave me a rental for the day so I could run errands while they worked on my car. Great Guys to work with, Great techs and they do the job right. Very busy place but always a pleasant visit. Mike Malo always does a superb Job and he works hard and I appreciate his help when needing things done. Great place! Jason the manager was extremely accommodating and helpful. I needed rear rotors but just had a rear caliper replaced at another location 2 weeks ago and they said the rotors were fine. Because of this he only charged me for the parts and no labor. A family member needed to borrow my car as he was dropping his truck off at the body shop on tuesday. Midas was booked out for almost a week and two days later ( Monday ) jason was able to squeeze my car in between 30 other appointments and got my car taken care of and passed inspection, so my family member wouldnt be without a car. I was extremely satisfied with the service I receieved

Appointment made in advance for 8AM. They began work on the car at 8AM. Work complete by 9:30AM. All wheel alignment. I especially liked that they provided a graphic print of the before and after alignment settings. I will certainly consider Midas in Bangor for my next vehicle service.

This Midas is fantastic. Always friendly and professional. I've had some issues with my 25 year old car, and they kept me on the road with very little trouble or stress. Very happy with the service I received. I called the dealer and they were two weeks out. I had a major oil leak so I could not wait that long. Midas was able to get me in the next business day. They got my truck fixed quickly and I was back on the road.

Was on a roadtrip on the way back to Canada when I noticed issues in one my tires as well as the axles. Called few places, butcouldn't get it. However, Midas were able to get me in in less than an hour despite their full schedule. The team was very professional, treating their customers like family. There was even a nail on one my tires which they removed and they didn't want to take anything for it. Thank you!!!

Have used this location for years now. This visit was for a minor break in my exhaust line (and a state inspection), but I'm Always happy with their work even for bigger tasks. My favorite thing about them is they will lay out repair options when possible, for example if there is a choice of either used parts or new, or when some repairs are critical while others might be put off- which gives you a little more control over the expense.(Editing, 2 years later, but previous comments still stand): still my preferred service location. Just had some significant brake work done on my Tacoma over the last couple of days (and a new Inspection).Service: Exhaust
