Not only do we love our new vehicle, the purchase was extremely easy and pleasant. Our salesperson, Sam Drew, was friendly, knowledgeable and very professional. He went above and beyond (even helped fix my phone!). Friends and neighbors have come over to check out our Bronco Sport. I recommended Darling's Ford and super salesperson, Sam Drew (give him a raise). Many thanks.

Just want folks to know I had a great experience with Darling Ford's manager, Roger. After a "not so great issue" with servive he stepped up, took care of the issue, calmed me down -:), and went over and above to make it right. Thank you Roger! I will continue using Darlings for all my service needs.

I recently used the free service pickup and delivery. It was extremely helpful. It made it possible for me to maintain my work schedule and have my car serviced all in the same day. The delivery driver was so kind and professional. He explained exactly what was going to happen and asked if I had any questions. I would give this a ten out of ten. I also would recommend this to anyone. Thanks again darlings ford for going above and beyond again

Took my car here for a bad bearing. 1 month later I got my snow tires changed out and an alignment and another garage noticed my CV boot was torn and had sprayed grease everywhere. They offered to fix it but recommended I take it back to where the bearing was replaced as they felt this had to have happened during the bearing replacement. Darlings would not assume responsibility and thinks it is just coincidence. They were willing to take some off the $3100 they quoted to replace the axle shaft, but didn t think they had caused this. Getting it replaced elsewhere for $1100. Candidly they did offer to re-quote using aftermarket parts, but for $1100 I d rather take my business elsewhere at this point. Blaine was very professional but I can t agree that this wasn t related to the recent repair.

I bought a car for my son 2023 Jetta and it is only 5 months old. The point was to have a safe and secure vehicle with a good warranty. I brought the car in because of a noise coming from rear of the car. Bad idea, they charged me over 200 dollars just to look at it even though I had a warranty. Just to inform me that this brand new car has corrosion and it will go away. The noise is now worse and is now constant. But, if I take it back are they going to charge me again and still not fix the problem? What is the point of a warranty if you are going to be charged anyway. I own 3 new vehicles and this is the only dealership that has ever charged me when I have a warranty. I was planning on buying a new ford F250 but am now rethinking this decision. I want a service department I can trust with my vehicle, especially if my children are driving said vehicle. This is very unlike me to complain, but honestly a vehicle 5 months old should not be making noises like this and I should not be charged if it's under warranty.

Jeffery Schencks was an amazing service writer and made me feel very valued and went up and beyond informing me about my vehicle. My sales experience was great as well a year ago. Please pass along to Jeffery the great job he is doing. When buying a car you have to factor in you will need a good service center or you buy a different brand! Had warranty work done as well a few months back, problems initially then different manager stepped in and made it right.

The car buying process was seamless from identifying the vehicle to driving it off the lot.I liked how we were kept updated through text messages and a few calls to notify us of the progress of our arriving vehicle. Once the vehicle was at darlings, in Bangor, we were notified and we began the sales transaction. I also like the fact that there was no stress or pressure during the experience, and from the sales agent, to the financing guy, to the service department, Darlings works dynamically together to please their customers.

My wife and I had a great experience purchasing a new F150. Our sales guy, Alex Marsh, was a complete professional. This is our second time working with Alex, both experiences were exceptional. We explained where we needed to be for payments, Alex found the perfect F150, he brought the numbers to the Finance department, he came back with the their offer. There was no messing around with numbers, he showed us what they were offering for our trade in and what our monthly payment would be if we accepted the offer. I will continue to be a Darlings customer because of Alex's professionalism and great attitude.

My husband and I worked with Alan MaCaulay and he was very prompt, efficient and answered all of our questions. We also had the pleasure of working with Dan from finance and between the pair of them they made the whole process of purchasing our new Maverick very easy and "painless". We would highly recommend anyone looking to purchase a vehicle to go in and ask for Alan and go through the process with him.

While purchasing my vehicle from Darlings, they convinced me to purchase their extended warranty plan. It was an extra $6,800 but I decided to do so since they assured me everything except Glass, tires and brakes were covered and it was well worth the money.. I took it to them for my first inspection, they said the Lock out hubs failed inspection and they were not covered... I also had a tailgate latch break (plastic), I missed an entire day of work because it took them 8 hours to diagnose the broken latch.. I just called them about 2 emission sensors that threw a code and they said I can drop it off for the week and if they have time to look at it they will. I mentioned that I have rental coverage with the extended warranty package so I would need a replacement vehicle, I was informed that I can only get a rental vehicle after the problem is diagnosed.. I would definitely NOT recommend doing business with this place. Keep this information in mind if you decide to because you'll find out you're just a number to them.. They bragged about their shop servicing 80-100 vehicles per day, how about worry about the quality of service and good customer relationships instead of how many vehicles you can shove through the doors each day.. I absolutely will NEVER shop here again and will NEVER recommend this place to anyone..

So I tried to be faithful and keep all my service and repairs done at Darling's Ford. However after my second overpriced oil change, I still took it to Darlings for an ianinspection.and oil change and left with a failed sticker for bad upper suspension links for 1000.00, and a cracked oil filter. I took my Explorer to a private mechanic. He not only found the cracked oil filter that was clearly over torqued, it passed inspection with no problem with the rear links. The same mechanic just told me I need a water pump. He don't do water pumps. I took it to Darlings, they wan 200.00 dollars just to look at and tell me what I already know. And it will cost me 1000.00 out of pocket with a no deductible extended warranty. I DONE WITH DARLING'S.

Gave a 5 because the service crew is terrific to deal with and they do great work. That overrides the problems with trying to SCHEDULE service. I tried the on-line scheduler more than once--no reply. Called and left a few voice mail messages, no response. Texted, no response. More than a week later I called the service desk and explained my frustration, saying I didn't want to be transferred to the schedulers, didn't want to hit that dead end again. Jake in service took it upon himself to schedule my appointment directly and it was smooth sailing from there. Apparently there is (or was if it's been fixed since) a disconnect between service and the centralized scheduling department. In the future I'll reach out directly to service for appointments, explaining why I have to bypass the option of leaving phone voice and text messages and the on-line scheduling feature---unless you convince me the "disconnect" has been resolved. Thanks. And thanks again to the service department personnel, they're terrific. Also, complimentary car wash highly appreciated.

Went in six months ago looking to buy a new bronco. Was told they were back ordered and could be at least a year before they could get any in. I let them talk me into the bronco sport instead. Of course now they have all kinds of the real broncos in stalk and selling them for 10k less then when I originally went in. Not sure how someone with a 812 credit score gets stuck with a 12.56 interest rate after putting 5k down is beyond me. I told the salesman I m a disable veteran on a fixed income but didn t seem to stop them from screwing me. 868 a month payment on this piece of junk! I told the salesman I needed something reliable because I travel out of state for doctors appointments only to find out these bronco sports catch fire, have transmission issues and engine failures regularly. Thanks a lot darlings for digging me a financial hole in this economy. At least you got paid.

My wife has been taking our new VW to Darlings now for 3 years for a yearly inspection. This year they had an issue with the factory tint the vehicle came with from the factory. So the tor off the front windows tint saying it didn t pass inspection, then they continued the inspection and said the breaks were over 80% worn and failed the inspection and this is after they had already torn off the tint on the vehicle.We ended up taking our vehicle up the road to be inspected and repaired Lesson learned from this for us is don t give our Business to darlings Ford again!!!

I came in hoping that Darlings might pay off my lease (which was ending in August) so that I could drive away in a new lease (a Volkswagon Taos) I was doubting in my mind that this could happen in one afternoon, but they made it happen for me with no issues at all!

Alex Marsh was the absolute best sales person we could of asked for! We had a super unconventional situation, we were in a rush and limited on time and Alex never skipped a beat! He was calm and rolled with all of our punches - he never once hesitated or questioned anything we said or asked about. He was never pushy or aggressive, he was cool calm, collective and made us feel like we were in control of the entire transaction. He was absolute pleasure to work with, he gave us a more than fair deal and went out of his way to get it done. We will absolutely be back to work with Alex when it s time for another vehicle and we couldn t recommend him enough! Thank you so much Alex we love our new expedition max and we owe it to you!

The salesman, Julian Breakenridge, was thorough with explaining how the features operated and assisted me with downloading the VW app to my phone. Jake with the financial office took the time to explain additional packages and coverage for the car.

Do NOT come here. Horrible service. I called FIVE days after I dropped my car off for a status update and got told that they have no record my car was ever dropped off, no file was created, the keys were misplaced, and they had to walk the lot to find it. Jacky was unresponsive and tried to charge me $270 to even LOOK at my car and simply tell me my battery was dead. I can t speak for everyone else in service, but do not work with Jacky. I have never felt so scammed at an auto shop. I ended up paying nearly $600 for a battery change - and they charge that much because they know many people have no other choice but to use their services. The entire company seems disorganized and there is little to no communication between employees. I cannot explain how ridiculous my experience was at this dealership. If you have any options, go ANYWHERE else. I will never return and I am reporting them to Volkswagen headquarters.

There is a long wait to get an appointment. The service for the oil change was very good and the wait was not too long. My biggest issue is that I had a tire that was losing pressure. I asked to have the tires checked and rotated. I was told that they did this and that the tires looked fine. On the way home I had a flat tire - the tire had a screw in it. While it is possible that this happened after the appointment, I did share that the tire was losing pressure.

I went in for scheduled service of an oil change and sun roof service for my 2018 Tiguan. Gage suggested a tire rotation and I agreed. The tire rotation never got done and my oil change sticker was not removed or replaced from my windshield. It s the attention to detail that seems to be lacking.

Alexis was very responsive to an online inquiry and quickly answered follow-up emails. She was able to get the vehicle I was interested in transferred from Ellsworth within a couple hours. She was very helpful explaining the features of the truck, and throughout the sales process, switching over insurance etc. Jake in financing went above and beyond to get us a great rate. The whole process was comfortable- no pressure or pushy sales tactics. Darling's is heads above the other dealers we've worked with over the years. Thanks to Alexis and Jake!

Horrible service, horrible wait time, and horrible repairs. I put my car in the shop December 20, 2022, because of a smell of gasoline in the car. They said it should take two weeks to fix and it will be ready. I got my car back yesterday which was February 18, 2023. A month and a half after it should have been done. The gasoline smell was fixed but other things were broken. Metal plating on the bottom of the car is now broken off and makes a rattling sound. A back seatbelt does not function. And the mechanics managed to wire the passenger seatbelt inside of the cars frame rendering it unusable. (See picture). On top of this they broke the antenna of the top of the car and are ordering a new one apparently. (Hopefully doesn t take two months). Very disappointing. Do not have you car serviced here. It s worth driving to another service department or shop.

I told Jacky that my Tiguan started 'saying' "Goodbye unknown driver," when I turned if off after reflecting my name since purchasing the vehicle. Jacky researched the issue and took me to to speak with Alex Marsh in sales. Alex spent more than 30 minutes with me in my vehicle to troubleshoot this issue. That's excellent customer service!
