Took my car here for a bad bearing. 1 month later I got my snow tires changed out and an alignment and another garage noticed my CV boot was torn and had sprayed grease everywhere. They offered to fix it but recommended I take it back to where the bearing was replaced as they felt this had to have happened during the bearing replacement. Darlings would not assume responsibility and thinks it is just coincidence. They were willing to take some off the $3100 they quoted to replace the axle shaft, but didn t think they had caused this. Getting it replaced elsewhere for $1100. Candidly they did offer to re-quote using aftermarket parts, but for $1100 I d rather take my business elsewhere at this point. Blaine was very professional but I can t agree that this wasn t related to the recent repair.

Really wanted to give a better rating , I've always loved darlings and purchased roughly 10 vehicles from them , always have used them for service as well as gave them praise to others to buy, always enjoyed the salesman here from the past but this time was different.Unfortunately due to Brian Lackee and his pushover , very arrogant and short conversations made this experience terrible, not only did he loose you a sale but also lost a good long time customer of darlings. Brians lack of looking at a vehicle left me very hard pressed when I went to go trade my vehicle to a different company, the notes of poor rims , scratches everywhere and lack of wanting to try to get the best for my trade in so I could utilize that to buy a vehicle from darlings left me running to another company , that not only gave me $3000 more then was offered , but found that the rims had some left over lubricant from the new tire change, the scratches that were supposedly everywhere couldn't be found and I was told our vehicle was very well taken care of.If your reading this review call Adam at Central Maine Buick Chevrolet in Waterville and let them show you what a true family nature and hospitality is.

Follow up 2018 SQ5 with a strange pulsing vibration. The master mechanic took the day and went through the vehicle. At the end he said all signs point to the transmission. I had the transmission replaced, the symptoms eased up for 2 days and since then have been back and never eased up. I have wound up spending over $15k on unnecessary repairs to this vehicle on Darlings repetitive incorrect diagnosis. It is clear they have no idea what's wrong with it. It is still vibrating and pulsing to this day with no hope of dealing with it. So disappointing to have such a fine vehicle as this SQ5 and have the brand's service department unable to do anything but guess as to what's wrong with it. At this point I look forward to whatever is going wrong with it to fully break and hopefully it doesn't cause me to have an accident hurting myself or others....or worse.

Darlings has always been great to me , anytime I've purchased a vehicle it's always been top notch and worth the price.
