Recently my wife and I were visiting the beautiful state of Maine from Michigan. We found ourselves on the side of the highway with an overheated Jeep Grand Cherokee. We had our Jeep towed to Auto Radiator Service in Bangor. It was after hours so we called the next morning. I spoke with Randy and he said he would get our Jeep looked at shortly. By 10:30 that morning we were back on the road with a new radiator hose and coolant. A sincere Thank you goes out to Randy and Dave for their exceptional service! We didn t know what to expect not being from the area.We highly recommend Auto Radiator Service for fast, friendly and honest work.Thanks again fellas!Service: Auto water leak repair

This review is over due. These guys are great! They are knowledgeable , efficient and priced reasonable. They figured out my problem with my Honda Pilot quickly and was able to get me back on the road within a few days. I am bringing my car back to them today, my check engine light is blinking

These guys know their business and have a front and center honesty that you can sense from the start. They remind me of that good old ethics and care that s harder to find these days. Blackboards with their rates and various services provided give you a grounding that you re in the right place. Very reasonable financially, focused and trustworthy. HIGHLY recommend this place. Great work, wonderful to deal with. I had 2 front struts and 2 shocks on the back replaced and they were done well ahead of time and under estimate. This is my new auto repair shop.

Been bringing my cars here for many many years for cooling and AC work and have always been pleased with the work and price. Last time I went I learned that the shop was bought out so I was a little concerned but no worries, all is good and the service is still a great place for AC and Cooling system service.

They don t do a great job applying the rust check, bare minimum application, got it in the interior, will go somewhere else next time. My regular mechanic agrees they did a poor job.edit: after a month I went for a tire rotation, and because this shop had coated the spare tire rim with the rust protection, it destroyed the chrome on the rim. awesome.

Great service!! They scheduled around my schedule which was greatly appreciated!! They even had me in and out faster then expected. I'm Thankful to have heat again. Recommend using them, I truly can't find a complaint to not send you there!!!

They do excellent work. They are very helpful and professional. In recent years they have recharged my AC on my car, changed out a radiator on my F-350 Super Duty, and most recently applied Rust Check on my new truck body.

Great Service! Passing through Bangor and needed to have the AC recharged. I called from the road and they took us right away. Done in about 20 minutes. Prices all posted in the office, so you know up front what the charge will be. Family owned business. Owner is right there working on the cars. Made recommendations for other service by our own mechanic once we get home. I'll go there again if ever in the area and need service.

From the first phone call I have had a great experience. Mike was knowledgeable and knew immediately what was wrong with my heater. He fixed it quickly and great pricing! Very friendly and personable experience. I highly recommend the Bangor Radiator Shop.

Had great experience with them. Great service, honest and reliable.Updates: Did not know the previous owner sold the business. Sadly new owner could not keep up the reputation. Had an unpleasant experience with fixing the AC last week. No communication and poor customer service, did not communicate with me prior repairing and charged me straight ahead for the repair. No communication at all.Service: Air conditioning

I have dealt with Mike on many vehicles over the past years. He has always treated me fair and is reasonable. He does amazing work and won t let anyone else work on my vehicle with coolant issues! I totally recommend Bangor Radiator!

Honest work at honest prices. Mike is one of the most honest mechanics I've ever met. If the job is too big for them or outside of their areas of expertise he always has great recommendations for other shops and experts.

Great customer service. Took my car there for AC service because it had quit and when I left worked great and then didn't after a few minutes. I stopped back in there and they had it working again in a matter of minutes. Can't ask for more than that.

Mike and his guys do an amazing job they have been the only ones to touch any of my cars for years.. They are very timely and very fair priced and if they cant fix something he will give you advice on where to take it.. They care about their customers and are not out there to just rip you off like some places..

Left the vehicle in the morning but had to wait for 2 days. Still paint was not dry when took the vehicle. Who work here wear dirty dress and spoiled my seats by smearing grease. Won't explain the problem and he shouts the response from across the building and won't even acknowledge when you walk into it. Looks like need more people and totally unprofessional approach. I will not recommend this.

I had a great experience with Bangor Radiator. I had to get a coolant leak in my 2003 Jetta fixed, and they did an excellent job in a timely manner. The cafe beside the auto shop was also top notch and a great environment to be in while waiting for the car's repairs (10/10 comfortable couches).I would highly recommend Bangor Radiator, for their fast service and friendly customer engagement!

I took my car here for an oil change. I was quoted for an oil change. I come back and he added the price of an air filter on top of the oil change without telling me he was going to put one in or that he was going to add that to my bill. When confronting him about it he screamed across the building threatening to rip it out and put my old one in. He approached me still shouting asking if I wanted him to rip it out, told me he wasn't in a good mood as he hit me on the back very hard three times while walking by me. He's lucky I didn't knock his teeth out for touching me. The owner is unprofessional and I will NEVER go back there again.

My 2002 E350 EXT 15 Passenger Van needed some specialized care. These guys did it up right! Would definitely recommend giving these guys a call!!

The owner, Mike, worked on the air conditioning in our 2005 Chrysler Town & Country. He located the leak and repaired it for $150. He also fixed a battery terminal while he was at it. We're pleased with the results.

Always friendly haven't had any issues with getting my vehicle fixed pretty quickly and also good prices. Not going to go to any other shop now that I've started going here
