The process of design and cost was fairly discussed. Appropriate expectations about timing of glass arrival were set( It came sooner.) The team fit in this job after we lost our planned dates due to a huge snowstorm. The crew did a careful job. Cleaned up after themselves. We are very happy.

Great experience. Done business at the Augusta location for years. Lynn was very professional and made sure everything was done correctly and in a timely manner. The manager also helped me out and made sure I was happy and that everything was done correctly. They were both a pleasure to deal with and I would recommend anytime and I will be back the next time I need a windshield. Great people

Went in to have my rear view mirror re-glued after it had fallen multiple times. Everyone was super nice, very fair price. It was 9$ compared to the 20$ I would spend on the at home glue kit. Also got some of the best windshield wipers I ve ever had.

A couple of weeks ago, I had my windshield replaced at Portland Glass in Augusta. I talked with 3 employees who were all wonderful. The regional manager, Bren (Brynn?), was extremely helpful, the woman working the desk was very kind and helpful as well, and the technician went above and beyond to get my car back on the road. An exceptionally good experience! Thank you all!

I ordered custom glass for my brand new master bath shower mid January. I was told they would contact me as soon as the glass arrived in 5-6 weeks. Plus I was told it would be an extra week to get them installed. Six weeks to the day I called. Brandon said the glass walls came in yesterday but not the hardware. He would call when the hardware got to his office. Two weeks went by and I called again just to see where we were at with the back order. No response. A week later I called on a Tuesday. Brandon said the hardware came in yesterday but he was very busy with Spring orders . He said he was going to call me to schedule the installation (but didn t). I now had to wait 17 days to get the glass installed because of a Spring rush .The communication from this company was not great. It took 11 weeks to complete this job. My recommendation would be to not focus on your Spring order rush, but to make your Winter orders a priority to complete first.The hinges are crooked and the door panel sits higher than the stationary wall. Also, there is a gap that let s water leak out onto the floor. I paid $4,600 for a quality product. I didn t get that quality I expected.

The front desk was a pleasure to work with and the technicians were fast and efficient as well. They did a great job. I usually use Bangor,the manager there Is the best, and luckily had similar luck in Augusta. Highly recommend.

My family is renovating a camp in Winthrop, Maine. We have had Portland Glass in Augusta replace windows and install a new shower door. They are ALWAYS professional, helpful, honest and extremely pleasant to work with. Every time we leave the office or receive a phone call, we always remark what a pleasure it is to work with this business. I highly recommend their services.

They did a great job, took an hour and 15 minutes for my windshield replacement. Cheaper than my quote too! Free window replacement if it breaks within a year. They were so kind and helpful! I wouldn't go to safelite because these guys can do the same quality or better for a lesser price. 5 star job guys!

We drive a lot of miles in Maine winters, so every once in a while we need a repair or replacement. I always go to Portland Glass in Augusta. They are very friendly, professional and do a great job-- and I am one of those picky folks. Their work really is "factory new." And, they are very nice people.

Although Portland Glass made some initial mistakes in measurements for our replacement shower door, those were corrected and the new door works well. Management reached out to us when they learned we were not happy and went to great lengths to make sure we were satisfied with the final product. Based on that response, we would recommend Portland Glass to others.

Brought my sons car in for a windshield replacement. Took just over an hour. The price was right and the quality was good. Respectable warranty on the replacement windshield as well. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!

We've used Portland Glass in Augusta several times. They are always pleasant, professional, and accommodating. If they don't have what I need in stock, they'll order it immediately. They are very timely setting up appts and they do fabulous work.

GREAT service when I had my windshield replaced, on a Saturday at that!! It took longer than expected, I was kept informed of the time frame, and even with running over the noon closing time, both young men were still smiling. Service was above and beyond! Thank you Augusta Portland Glass!

Special thanks to Bren at the Portland Glass in Augusta. She responded graciously to our need to have home windows returned in time for photographs of our property, expedited our order the same day, and personally ensured that our windows got back to us when we needed them. The glass--and our photos--came out beautifully. Thanks to Bren for her part in this.

I used Portland Glass for a complete window and door replacement project a number of years ago, so when I needed screen repairs, they were my first choice. The service was fast, and professional. I will always pick up the phone to call them in the future.

Once again, Portland Glass based in Augusta, has provided stellar service! Solon has used his expertise in designing solutions for my 1826 Farmhouse. Using tempered framed glass, he solved the air flow issues of the beautiful leaded glass which are at the historic entry door. And, he has carefully crafted replacement panes for the 9 over 6 light windows throughout the lovely Stage Coach Stop. What a treasure of a wonderful person! How grateful I am! On my drive to Augusta an 18 wheeler kicked up a rock sending it straight into my windshield. It was a pretty deep gouge in the glass and not part of my plans for the day. I went online and called around and after a few other places I was lucky to find Portland Glass. A person answered the phone at this location and was very understanding. They had time right away and asked me to come in. From start to finish everything was explained to me and done in a quick and professional manner. The cost was less than other companies and the job done was great. What I though was going to be really complicated was quick and easy. Very nice place, clean comfortable waiting area, fast courteous service, & very nice people. I would recommend them.

I had a cracked windshield. It took a little while for them to obtain the original Mazda windshield (this was around the holidays), but it seems like they did a good job installing it. They contacted the insurance company and took care of everything -- I just paid the $100 deductible,

Portland glass replaced a window at our church in Winthrop, Maine. They did a great job and were very low maintenance! I just told them which window and they came and replaced it. No problems at all. Fair price too. Chris Droullard Pastor of Victory Baptist Church
