Kevin's great! I've been coming to him for years. He's affordable, dependable, always tries to make sure he can fit you in, and the work he does is always top notch. Although I do most of my own car work, there is some things I just either can't/don't want to do, and Kevin will always be the first guy I call.Recently, I wanted to put a bike rack on my civic, I needed a 1,1/4" hitch mount for this. However, I had to have some exhaust work done in order to make it fit. Kevin got his guy to do the work and it came out looking perfect!Thanks for everything, Kevin, you and your people are good people!

I got sent here from Townfair Tire for a quick repair. He was genuinely nice and helpful, taking time to do some research for me and providing me with some options regardless of whether or not he was going to do the work. The turnaround was very quick. I really enjoyed my experience here and would recommend anyone in the area take your vehicles here!

Wow!! I honestly do not think I have ever been to a better mechanic shop in my life. Kevin is honest, exceptionally courteous, very fair in pricing, and will go the extra mile to help you if your need is emergent (which mine was today). I am so glad I was referred by another friend to come to this establishment, because it will be the only place that gets my business going forward. Your car is in safe hands here.

Outstanding experience. Got sick of being robbed by local dealers and tried Kevin's. Glad I did! Knows his stuff, honest, fair pricing and timely high quality work you won't get at dealerships.Update 10/2023: Went back to Kevin's for brakes on my daughter's Acura. Another great experience, fast service and paid less than chain garage quoted.

I had an oil change done, after they flooded my engine with full synthetic oil(the oil I use) so it didn't run. had my car brought back there to be fixed then without asking me he put regular oil in my car and told me...... "gas leaked into your engine and your pistons fell out cars run better with regular oil even if you said that's not what you want I did it anyways " ......this was a story told to me to cover up the fact they flooded my engine also now that he put regular oil in it I have had nothing but problems.....yes this is the correct place I double checked before writing my review. Im surprised you did not remember the story you gave me about why my engine was filled to the top with oil.Services: General repairs & maintenance, Oil change

I had an emergency and I lit everything on fire under the front right driver tire ruining my Cv axle, breaks ,hub everything you can imagine, the calipers and calling Kevin that morning he took my vehicle in and I had it back within 24 hours. He was clear in the cost and fair. I appreciate the prompt work and communication, I'll continue to call Kevin for future needs. 1st experience was this experience, thank you for not adding me to a list and getting my only vehicle back to me!!

Kevin is a very genuine honest mechanic. I am from Ohio and he was able to get me in on a cancellation. The pricing here is extremely fair and the service he provided is excellent. Kevin is the best. I travel for work, since I ve been here I ve taken my car to him twice thinking that there was something wrong. Everything was fine and it was a minor issue, a joint needed lubricated. Any other mechanic could ve easily taken advantage but kevin didn t. He s honest, knowledgeable, and is quick to response to help you figure out what s going on with your ride. 5 Stars FORSURE. Thanks Kevin.

I called several mechanics when my car left me stranded, and some were closed for the holiday week, or the dealer would "schedule me out." Got the car towed to Kevin's, and it was fixed the next morning. Great service

Long time customer...when you find a professional, honest, reasonable and reliable mechanic/shop you come to rely upon them. I have relied on Kevin's Auto Repair for more than a decade and could not be happier. I've had 5 vehicles with everything from valve adjustments, internal timing belt changes, water pumps, starters, suspension, and undercoating. My wife and I were driving through Augusta when there was there was a loud pinging from the undercarriage, then smoke from under the hood, then the oil pressure light started blinking. Pulling over and checking it was easy to see and smell that the engine was covered in oil.Instantly got on the phone and started calling every mechanic in the area, don't work on your make, can't see you 'til next week, etc. When we called Kevin, instant sympathy, and he told us to come on through.Somehow got there without the engine seizing, beautiful property on the top of a hill. He got me in the garage, checked it out, the plug was apparently the pinging.He got us a new plug, I had to convince him to use the more expensive synthetic oil, gave us advice, refused the extra payment I offered, and sent us on our way. (I'm driving a Mazda3 if your looking for a car that seemingly doesn't need oil to operate).A couple hours later he sent us a follow-up text to make sure we were okay.Kevin, you are an a+ person, sincerely thank youService: Oil change

Called Kevin to have him do a quick pre purchase inspection on a used car. He was generous enough to fit me in last minute and was able to accommodate my unsure scheduling. This was by no means a full pre purchase inspection, just got the car up on the lift and checked around (which is exactly what I asked for). He was incredibly nice, fast, communicative and fun to talk with. On top of everything he didn t charge me a cent! He gave 15 minutes of his time to a complete stranger free of charge! I wish I lived in the Augusta area so Kevin could be my regular mechanic.

Fair prices, honest, will tell you when work needs be done, but doesn't take advantage. Update 2022, Kevin is amazing! He installed a new motor in a 2013 Rav 4, impeccable work, great advice. He truly cares about his clients!! Love the quote at the bottom of his invoice go see for yourself

I highly recommend Kevin's Repair. Family run, peaceful setting and very knowledgeable. Matt help me with a proper tune up(90k) on my Subaru without trying to up sale anything and we had a honest conversation on what could/should be done. I liked that.

I have been taking my care here for 10+ years. He has worked on 3 cars of mine and 1 for a friend of mine. He has the best prices in town and is very knowledgeable and up front about your vehicle and what it needs. I would recommend him to anyone that needs car repairs

I had an excellent experience here - another shop broke the studs on 2 of my tires and he not only fixed them and got it paid for by the shop, but also repaired another issue I'd been meaning to get fixed for a very reasonable price. A+++!!!
