Was stranded on the highway asked if I could have my KIA towed there considering they are a KIA dealership, they told me no as I didn t by the KIA from them and they weren t taking new customers. I was also told they only had one KIA tech and they were booking out as far out as July. Frankly, I was considered buying something new over the next few months, but would rather walk than buy a car from this dealership. I would strongly encourage anyone to shop elsewhere!!!

There was a recall on my Kia, this dealership purposely scheduled me out for a possibly dangerous (explosive) issue 2.5 months out!!! And said that they weren t actually taking new Kia customers (they are a Kia dealership). It seems pretty likely that they are doing this to avoid having to perform recall service (as that is something they can t jack up costs to the customer for). If so, that s pretty despicable behavior, and there is no way I would buy a Kia from dealership that states they aren t taking new Kia customers . Buyer be ware

Didn't end up buying a car here, but the whole team is really great. Worked primarily with Joe Furrow, who was excellent. The whole staff is respectful, understanding, and will go above and beyond to try to make something work (without ever coming off as aggressive). I'll definitely be back once it's time to shop for a car again.

I honestly don t know where to start with how well we were treated and taken care of here at Charlie s Kia. A couple months back my sons motor blew on his 2014 Kia. To date we are still unsure of the reason for the malfunction, but we do know it was not due to lack of maintenance. Anyhow, we contacted Judy at Charlie s Kia, and I explained the situation to her. My 18-year-old son had saved for a while and just bought this car used from a mom-and-pop dealership in Auburn Maine a few months ago and now this has happened. I explained that the other dealership was not willing to work with us and Charlie s was our last hope for any help. Judy promptly said to have the car towed to them. Judy, along with her service manager contacted Kia directly to see if they would cover the motor for him. Our big concern was that the other dealership failed to inform us that the car did not have a required recall completed on it that would allow Kia to cover the motor. Hence the reason the other dealership refused to work with us. Anyways, a couple days later Judy called to inform us that they were able to talk with Kia get the motor replaced for my son. It was this dedication and willingness to see this through that made us the biggest fans of not only Judy but Charlies Kia as a whole. Everyone we dealt with was amazing and extremely professional. They were very good at staying in touch with us throughout the process and stuck true to their anticipated timeline for completion once the motor arrived. This was extremely important to my son due to him really wanting his car for his senior prom. This was something that Judy and the team knew was important to him and made sure that he got his car back in time to use for his prom. We live about 45 minutes away from Charlies, but I can promise you this much, we will without question make the trip to look for our next vehicle there as well as have required services done on my son s car with them. We cannot thank Judy, the whole service department staff, and the mechanics that did the work enough. They are true professionals and experts at what they do!!

I purchased my Seltos from Charlie's Kia and the buying process was surprisingly easy. Joe and Chris treated me great, and went the extra mile for me. No pushiness, no sketchiness, and no bad vibes which is a breath of fresh air. Shoutout to Randy from the finance department, and even the delivery man with the world class dad jokes. Just a good car buying experience.

We bought a kia carnival last month, at the time of purchase our entertainment system "TVs" were not installed and we were told it would be done in a few weeks after our purchase. We'll it has been 1 month later and still no appointment! Not a good way to do business when you don't keep your word!!!

Had a great experience at the KIA dealer of Charlie's. Joe, Joe, and a female (unsure of her name) were all great to work with. The guy in finance Najib was also great to work with. Never felt pressured. Everyone was friendly and REAL!

Same as every other dealer on the planet. Say whatever they want to get your money. Make promises they won't keep. Zero chance to negotiate price. When I mentioned it and asked if they were willing to go the extra mile they said "give us a good review and we will take some money off your hitch installation and hook you up with some gas" cheap cop out if you ask me. Talking 240 bucks, I would have talked 3-5k off the price given the opportunity. Apparently an 850 out of 1000 wasn't good enough. They reneged on they deal and sent me on my way. Oh, and they forgot to give me temp plates. Got pulled over on they way to get them.

I purchased a 2011 Kia soul from here. It has had three head gaskets replaced in a 4 year span. Charlie's big thing is "service after the sale" but in my experience once the sale is made customer service is low priority. I am now bringing it in for an engine swap due to a different issue and brought it to them because they are a certified KIA service department. They have had my car and the engine in the garage for weeks now, it is a week and a half past the estimated time they thought the car would l be done. I call the service department to get an update on my vehicle just to see the progress and if they have a new ETA , so I can plan transportation for me and my children to school and work. Twice the person answering the phone said that she would have Heidi their service manager call me back, but she has failed to do so. When I followed up again they said everyone had left for the day (at 4:30 they close at 5) and no one could tell me anything. I wouldn't recommend the service department at all. Very unprofessional. I have no car and no clue when I will get it back. The biggest problem is they don't seem to care, it's my problem not theirs. The reply to my review is the most contact I've gotten back in almost a week. Still no exact time frame, not to mention the reply here they aren't apologizing for the lack of communication which is the real issue. Instead they they make snide comments why I need an engine swap. This is the last time I use this garage for anything.

Absolutely amazing experience in buying my kia sorento!! Everyone was so friendly, nothing like I've ever experienced at any other dealerships I've dealt with in the past! I had my 6 yr old with me which I was very nervous about because picking out and buying a car can be time consuming but they went above and beyond to the point that know every time we drive by my daughter asks if we can stop in and say hi to the guys A++++ service with an extra special thanks to our amazing salesman Derek Bard!!

Although I live near Bangor, I choose to travel to Charlie's KIA in Augusta, Maine because of their friendly, helpful, and knowledgeable staff. They're always on top of things, deal fairly, and do their most to make their customers happy (just check out the waiting area for an example)!

It has been Months and I am still waiting for the Service Manager to return my phone call in regards to the Service performed on the KIA my family purchased. I purchased a Toyota Tundra from Charlie's Toyota and the Service has been outstanding! It's unfortunate I cannot say the same for the KIA experience. I was mis advised on Service and frankly it's upsetting that the Service Department will not even return my phone call's. It's ironic but when I was shopping for the KIA I received plenty of phone calls.

After looking at several brands of suv's we went to test drive a Kia at Charlies Motor Mall. Although we hadn't decided to buy on the day of our test drive we were impressed with Daniel Otieno's approach.He was more interested in meeting our needs than pushing a sale.My wife and I are happy with our Kia and would recommend both Charlies and Daniel for a hassle free car purchase.

Bought a Kia today....never enjoyed car buying and it has been over ten years since my last new car....salesman Daniel Otieno was great to work with along with manager Joe...got the monthly payment i was looking for and slightly less than loan i looked into yesterday for used cars ...Najib did the financial review and long term maint and insurance ...all in all a very nice experience...would reccomend to anyone interested in a KIA
