They are awesome! Excellent communication - very clear, upfront, and straightforward. Thorough explanation of what was needed urgently and what could wait a bit. Reasonable charges. Their staff is excellent. Everyone I interacted with from reception to technicians to shuttle drivers were so friendly, warm, and kind. Also, I kind of fell in love with the adorable Corgi that was "on staff" the day I was there. He's a Very Good Dog and should get more treats. Highly recommend (both the dog and the business).

Taking my car into ACAR was the best choice I could have made. They did a deep dive into what was going on with my car, they were so kind through the process, and were so upfront and honest with everything! My car was a little worse for wear and the previous mechanic gave me a diagnosis of something completely different that would have been a huge waste of money. I got an appointment pretty quickly, they kept me updated and I m so glad I went when I did! I will always bring my vehicle here from now on!

Very pleasant experience! They got me in within an hour of when I called for a state inspection. They give a full report via text with a link of many things that doesn't even apply to an inspection that needs attention . I thought that was very helpful not to wonder what's needed soon ! Al was very nice and the other 2 gentleman I met as well. They also did and 4 wheel alignment for me on the spot after the inspection , I was expecting to need an appointment. It's a totally different pleasnt experience there . Highly recommend!

ACAR was great to work with! They helped diagnose a problem I have been having with an electrical system. It was easy start to finish. From drop off to pick up, they kept me informed about the issues they found. They send a report that you can access on your phone that explains exactly what is wrong. They even add pictures in the report to show where the issue lies.

They are very nice, helped me understand the cost and they work with my warranty company. I have an Audi Allroad and do not trust many to work on it. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND AL'S CERTIFIED AUTO REPAIR TO EVERYONE!!! UPDATE:They got everything done on my car and they billed my warranty company for everything! I feel like I have a New Car again!!!

I have been using ACAR for my Cadillac repairs for a couple of years now. I'm currently disabled with a new kidney transplant. I brought my car to Al's and was serviced without wait and fairly priced. The customer service is amazing and I highly recommend them to anyone looking for a top notch service department!

From the minute that I called Al s for the first time to the minute that I walked out the door, it was an excellent experience. Everybody was friendly and welcoming. They are extremely reasonable and knowledgeable.Even though this is my first visit, I do feel very comfortable and trust going here again!

Everything was good was treated respectfully kindly I'm an older person so and I'm a woman so I don't understand some of that stuff and they explained it so I could understand it very very nice people and honest a five-star operation all the way good people honest people caring people

ACAR, has done work on two of my vehicles and have always provided excellent service. Theor deferred service is always helpful for pricing and needed future service, helps prioritize any additional repairs.

Can t say enough good things about the people over at Al s. I was under a time crunch, due to shipping out into the military. They were able to pencil me in for an immediate appointment, took care of everything I needed, and even fed me in the process. I m sad I ll be moving away but I d recommend their services to anyone. Thanks again.

Had an appointment for service this week. Got a ride to work in the shuttle. Was kept informed of service progress by phone/email. Inspection report had detailed pics. Work done as agreed, on schedule. Got picked up from work by the shuttle. Car was ready, handles better, rides much nicer, instrument panel not hassling me anymore. Reasonable cost. Friendly servicepeople. This was my third visit over 2-3 years and this is how it goes. Great service, with a lot of the stress and uncertainty taken out of getting your car fixed. Love this shop.

Everyone is very nice and honest. Another place told me I needed a $530 repair. Al's Certified Auto Repair ran diagnostics and said nothing was wrong. I'll never go elsewhere.

I reached out to Al s Auto Repair after a poor experience with the auto dealer I previously used to service my car. The dealer suggested I needed a $2,000 repair. Go smacked by that suggestion I reached out to a couple of local mechanics to see if they could help me. Al s was able to diagnose the issue my dealer said would cost almost $2,000 to repair. And they did if for $85.00. Eye opening for sure. Al s has friendly and honest associates and mechanics working for them. Further, their shuttle service is a big plus as well. Very pleased with work on my car to date. On a scale of 0 10 with 0 being poor and 10 being excellent they have earned a 10.

I have never dealt with anything so terrible. I needed a back wheel bearing done on my tundra, and was given a quote of a little over $1400. I decided since they were in there that they should probably do the other one in the rear as well considering it takes dropping the axle and emptying the differential fluid, and I didn t want to incur those cost again down the road. When I showed up, they asked me to sign off on the job, and I happened to glance down at the pin pad and noticed a charge of almost $3400. I immediately questioned it and he said well we have to drop the other side as well so you re going to be double the cost. I said that should not be the case considering the axle drop and the differential fluid is already included in the first quote. Knowing that this should not be the case as far as the charges go, I decided to cancel my appointment and go elsewhere. I went to a different shop and they gave me a quote of $1600. When the new shop had the truck on the lift, and they showed me everything that was wrong in person, Al s missed the following: pinion bearing, front upper and lower ball joints, water pump, radiator, back brake lines were almost rusted off, rear backing plate, emergency brake shoes were froze up, emergency brake cable was broken. and the best part? They put an inspection sticker on it. Now I ll leave it up to you on how safe you feel bringing your vehicle here. I have never been shafted so bad by a garage in my life. I should mention that I had the two front wheel bearings done by them and they charged me $2100 which was ridiculous.

I truly can't recommend Al's Auto Repair highly enough. I live in Portland but I commute to Augusta for work. One morning, I arrived in Augusta and realized that my car was in need of emergency repairs. The staff at Al's went out of their way to squeeze me in so that I wouldn't be stuck in Augusta overnight. They charged me a fair price and took extra time to explain everything they were doing, even showing me photos. They also drove me to my office while they did the work on my car and picked me up at the end of the day when they were finished. And getting to meet Radar (the adorable Corgi/watchdog) was just the cherry on top of the whole experience. I'm so grateful for the excellent service!Services: Auto brake repair, Brakes

Al's provides such a high level of customer service. I purchased a new car that was delivered right to Al's from another state. The whole team, but in particular, Service Manager Kasidee York, went above and beyond. Al's showed flexibility around the arrival date, fit me in to give my new vehicle a detailed inspection and provided good answers to questions backed up by knowledge and experience. I highly recommend this business.

Easy to make an appointment and they were super helpful and charged a great price. I was able to drop it off after work and pick it up the next day. I got my winter tires changed for $75, best price I've seen. Every experience at AL s has been top notch. They explain things without being condescending, have never pressured me into a repair I didn t need, and they deal with my car s warranty company so I don t have to! I had a coolant leak, and had marked on the tank how fast it was going down. They determined it was a major leak and couldn t wait until my scheduled appointment a week out. They had me drop the car off, diagnosed it between other appointments, and then fixed the coolant issue AND a handful of other issues they d found all the next day. My car runs like it did when I first got it, and even my kiddo noticed the improvement in how it rides. I am always pleased with the courtesy, kindness and attention I get at Al s, and I ll be taking any vehicle of mine to them as well as recommending them to all my friends.You also really can t go wrong with a shop that has a corgi for a door greeter, clearly they re making some good choices.Services: Steering & suspension repair, Auto water leak repair, General repairs & maintenance, Transmission repair, Auto maintenance

It did take a little over a week to get in, but that is to be expected in today's world with all the shortages. They gave me a date. I waited a few days but asked if the time slot was still opened and they said they would make it work. They looked over the vehicle very well with the complimentary vehicle inspection. They did the work that I wanted done which were a couple of estimates on a gas leak job and brake system repairs. They gave me an oil change and fixed my headlight. The service advisor was a total male chauvinist jerk. He is rude and sees nothing wrong with ordering parts without the owner's approval. The bill After you pay invludes "deferred service" which he rudely laughed at me about when I questioned services that were not a reason for this facility "repairing" my vehicle. He laughed and instead of professionally explaining I was looking at "deferred service". I will never use this facility again nor recommend them to anyone. They also do not perform any real repair work and do not service European vehicles. Also, I feel I paid for them to do nothing, my vehicle still has the same issue it was brought in for.Service: Auto water leak repair

Went to Al's a while back. Needed some help. They were great to work with. Very friendly and helpful, explained everything to me. They have a great warranty, which was really nice. The shop is nice, clean, and inviting. Got to talk to Al himself, what a great guy! I was very satisfied with my visit. If I lived closer I would come back every time. Thanks guys!
